grabbed a vodka slice & margherita slice here at night when we had the munchies and this spot was closeby! Slices tasted like they were made fresh and the sauce had plenty of flavor, however the crust had snapped while folding it to eat lol I get the crust is supposed to be crunchy but not that crunchy. Other than that the pizza was great and reasonably priced

We ordered a half pepperoni, half cheese pizza pie and it hit the spot perfectly. The crust had that great balance, it was crispy on the outside but still soft and chewy inside. The cheese half was simple and classic, with just the right amount of sauce and a generous layer of melted cheese that stretched with every bite. The pepperoni side brought a little extra punch: salty, savory slices that crisped up around the edges and paired beautifully with the tangy sauce. It was a great way to please everyone at the table. We got it after a night of heavy drinking so it was perfect. It's definitely something for those who love the timeless plain cheese and something for those who want a little extra flavor. Overall, it was a delicious, well made pie that I'd happily order again.

Wide selection of tasty treats. Great service, with a smile. Tables are clean and chairs are sturdy. This is a working folk's pizzeria. No pricey frills just good pies(they have salads and beverages). There are many places to get good pizza but I like it here because of the sauce & care they take to make each pie.

    Disappointment...

Ordered a large cheese pie for delivery for $25 ($4 tip). Arrived promptly & warm (not hot). Visually the cheese color & cook (brown patches) as it outta be & looked fine. But I was suspicious when I saw the crust edge. No cornicione bubbles AT ALL! The dough was flavorless, dry and unworthy of a true NY pie. Definitely no fermentation in the dough resulting in a pretty mediocre pie. Really disappointing as I'd hoped I could find a new contender in the "quality pizza in the neighborhood"department. Traditas is a pretender. Trust me, I'm not just a native NYer but also a retired chef. The search continues...

Maybe it was the choice, late at night not that hungry just wanted a slice of pizza basic not too fancy. Lots of choices, but took the meat lovers-lots of sausage and the dough was not the best. I'll try another pizza by the slice elsewhere

Tried this place because it was the closest to my hotel when visiting and so happy I stumbled across this gem! Absolutely loved the variety! The Caesar Salad Pizza was novelty for me as well as the Chicken Parm one so I had to try them both. Every slice was good BUT the white slice was my favorite. Simple but so tasty. The ricotta was complementing the crispy dough of the pizza itself I was so surprised. My second favorite was the Vodka one. Another simple yet tasty option. I'm a huge fan of thin crust slices and this is definitely top 5 for me.

While in route to Times Square we stumbled crossed Traditas. The pizza was fresh & yummy. The crust was airy & thin which was my favorite. Service was prompt! Would recommend!

My workplace had ordered in lunch from Traditas Pizza. This was my first time eating Traditas NY Pizza and it won't be my last! I ended up trying two large slices of cheese pizza. The cheese pizza was scrumptious! The dough was thin, and wasn't burnt. There was plenty of cheese on the pizza and the sauce had a sweet taste to it. I really enjoyed it and I would stop by Traditas for a slice of pizza again!

This place is my new favorite pizza place! Excellent choice in slices. The pies are incredibly fresh! Everything from a regular pie, to the yummy garlic knot, to the Buffalo chicken and chicken Parmesan rolls! Sooo good 5/5 for slice variety and freshness 5/5 for service! So friendly and super helpful! 5/5 for cleanliness and ambiance!

    A good selection

The best service, makes you feel like you're visiting family! Tons of selection and plenty of good service

I heard of Traits on YouTube from Portnoy's review and I was so excited to have realized they're just 2-3 blocks away from my employer! I stopped by one day for a lunch break and was amazed at how the beautiful presentation and organization of the pizza options. The service was fantastic, the team in there is so kind, quickly attentive and they know how to run a shop! I went with the vodka grandma and a regular slice and found both to be very pleasant and delicious. If you're into fresh mozzarella and doughy pizza, this is the spot for you! lots of drink options and a good amount of seats inside for a FiDi pizzeria. 10/10/

Arrived in NYC and needed that NYC slice of pizza! Traditas pizza was close to the hotel I was staying at so I popped in to try out the pizza. Clean establishment! I ordered 1 cheese slice. It was good. I was also able to sit inside and enjoy the slice!

Best gluten-free pizza I have ever had. [Full Stop]…read more I've had a lot of GF pizza. I've tried to come here in the past -- but it didn't work out. I ordered via Uber Eats this time, and MAN -- I was blown away. I honestly thought that they had screwed up and sent me a gluten version. I checked the order and receipt. It was so good -- the crust so chewy with bite -- but light and airy and tight -- the cheese and toppings all great and fresh and delicious. It tasted like an awesome piece of NYC pizza. I was so happy. I did some Claude sleuthing -- and think I'm onto their magic with the crust -- and am excitedly going to experiment in my home kitchen in the coming weeks (Neapolitan oven, be damned!).

Located at 309 West 50th Street in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the casual eatery has an extensive list of pizzas. Don Antonio has over 30 types of Neapolitan pizzas, and the menu is a little bit daunting at first due to so many options, but even the pickiest eater will find something they'll want to eat. To top that off, Caporuscio recently debuted a brand new pizza tasting menu that features a curated lineup of never-before-seen pizza napoletana, and seven varieties of pizza fritta (fried pizza). Lastly, the entire pizza menu is now available gluten-free. With vast offerings, they are ambitious, and every dish is outstanding.

RIGHT BY THE DOOR. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
