We drive a 2011 Honda CRV. Its great to have one place to go for basic and very important services. Transmission flush, oil change, check brakes with very cool visual aid to show current  wear, tire pressure, pleasant busy atmosphere. Our car received excellent care to keep us safe on the road. This review is long overdue. I have been to their shop twice now. I had new front rotors and pads replaced. Not having my van while in the shop means I can't work, I showed up on a Friday at 2:30pm and they had me ready to go before they closed at 5pm. Very quick turnaround with a very fair price. I came to Transmission Plus because the owner or manager(not sure what he is) was friendly over the phone and provided a competitive price for a new torque converter and general service. I brought my transmission to him by itself as I was getting the engine rebuilt at the same time. The owner and his lead mechanic had a hard time identifying the transmission even though I assured both of them of the particular model. The mechanic began to argue with me and told me very disrespectfully that I was wrong. I figured whatever, and left it to the, "professionals." I also left them a random torque converter to use as a core. I informed the owner the torque converter I brought to him was possibly wrong and he would need to check the numbers instead of just getting a identical replacement. Transmission Plus had my transmission for approximately one week until I was given the call to come pick it up. I came to Transmission Plus and spoke to the owner again. He told me he replaced all the seals and I was good to go. Funny thing was, I didn't ask for seals and just wanted a general service which as most people know, includes a drain, filter replacement, and refill of fluids. I didn't think much of it, I just hoped he wouldn't charge me extra. Well I tried to take the transmission home but asked the mechanic to install the new torque converter I had also ordered. I asked the owner if he could have a mechanic install it first to show me how to put it in. He began to instal it but low and behold, it didn't fit. The owner told me to come back the next day and it would be resolved. I come back the next day and we give it another try. Torque converter goes in, doesn't fit. The owner again tells me to come back the next day. I told him I needed it done right away and the owner finally gives up on trying and gives me the address of the torque converter business and tells me to take care of it on my own. Approximately 3 weeks goes by and I finally get the time to put the transmission in. I quickly realized, they didn't put transmission fluid inside of it. Once I paid for my own transmission fluid, I quickly found out the seal they installed on the pan wasn't holding, and in turn, transmission fluid was leaking out of the pan gasket. I quickly identified the leak was coming from the rear portion of the pan, where I also found what appeared to be pry marks and a new after market bolt. I return to the Transmission Plus with everything installed on the jeep. I advised the owner the pan is already leaking and there appeared to be damage to the section of the pan where it's leaking. Then my experience gets interesting. The owner freaks on me. He immediately get upset and accuses me of just trying to get things for free. I reminded him every time I've come back was in attempt to get something fixed or just get it right. The owner begins to use profanity saying I'm, "full of shit," he called me a, "mother fucker," and continued to accuse me of being a complainer. The owner told me he was just going cut me a check for the $150 I paid told me would then need to, "get the fuck out of here." I advised the owner I would take my experience to Yelp and other online review sites and the owner stopped writing the check and said said if that was the case he'll just put the vehicle on the, "fucking rack," and fix it himself. The owner grabbed the keys to my vehicle I had on the counter and drove it onto the rack. He and two of his mechanics looked at the pan and his immediate reaction was to walk into his office and continue to write a check for the $150.00 service charge. I met him in the office and he threw the check at me. The owner apologized to me for cursing and getting upset. In my opinion, the damage had already been done. I have never in my life been victimized like that. I've never given money to someone and been treated like that. I took his check, cashed it, and quickly ran to AAMCO of Redlands. I told them my story pleaded with them to bailed me out. They did and even fixed the damage at no extra charge. Do yourself a favor and don't go to Transmission Plus. There customer service and work both earn one star, I only added the second because he gave me my money back. read more

I called transmission plus they told me to bring my car and after I had three businesses tell me it was the torque converter Bob was very friendly told me to bring it in he would put it on the scope and Robbie who looked at it to both men were very very kind very honest they told me it was not the torque converter that it was nothing it was nothing wrong with the car they save me thousands and thousands of dollars when other transmission places told me it was the transmission and the torque converter this business is wonderful they are honest people and very friendly I will take my car to them always my family is going to use them As well. The bad reviews mirror my experience as well. I went here because they were at one time AAA certified, not sure if they still are. They replaced a torque converter and I had to take it back 8 different times before they got it right. The owner was nice at first but became difficult to deal with after the 2nd time and made me feel like it was my fault they couldnt do the job right. He made me feel very uncomfortable. Since they were AAA certified I finally got AAA's help to make things right. I would highly recommend going to another automotive shop, not here. read more

Took our 2007 Hyundai in for a transmission problem that we have had for months. Couldn't be happier with the results. Bob and his son were professional and very helpful and kept me informed each step of the way during the repair. The fix wasn't cheap but it sure was a lot better than a new car. This wasn't an easy diagnosis because the symptoms led to many "could be's". But we got out under $1000.00 and that made us very happy. My experience with Transmission Plus was great, the mechanic assigned to my 1995 corvette was top notch. the car was barely drivable , My Mind was thinking O Man a trany rebuild $4000... I had asked around. The owner Bob had the vette put on the rack and began to find the problems. I was really hoping this guy was trustworthy and a straight shooter. He could have told me anything the car was in so bad diving condition & trans fluid everywhere, I would have believed the worst. Fixing corvettes can get expensive real fast! After poking around for some time they gave me the news.The rear bushing went bad three hours labor and a new bushing and back on the road again.
