I love this place - we usually order delivery every week. They have a *huge* menu and I've enjoyed everything that I've tried. Some of my favorites are the chicken parm sub, the bbq brisket, garlic knots and the California chicken cheesesteak! I've tried their pizza and it's good, but with so many other options I usually end up ordering something other than pizza. You wouldn't think that a restaurant that does 3 different cuisines could do them all perfectly. This one does! I've never set foot inside the restaurant but we order take out from here an average of 3 times a week or the last 3 years. I think we've been through the entire menu at least once and I have NEVER had a bad dish, not even one that was just "ok"! Every Single order has been fantastic!! In a few months I will be moving to Maui Hawaii. One of the few things I will miss about NJ is Tre Colore. I love Mexican food. My first venture to Tre Colore was amazing. The Burrito and the Empenadas were to die for. Our second trip to Tre Colore wasn't so great. This time we tried the Quesadillas and the Fluatas. The tortillas were thick and dry. The meats were unseasoned and flavorless. That was the total content of the quesadillas. It was the most bland and dry food I have ever tasted. Would NOT recommend the quesadillas here but the burritos were great. read more

With a good dozen pizza places within easy reach here, these guys stand out strong. The pizza is great, the crust is a crisp, medium thickness, and their marinara is a sweet/fresh type vs the more bitter oregano heavy that some places use. I also highly recommend the traditional stromboli, finally someone who does a legit, full sized stromboli. Again the marinara shines. Also they are on GrubHub, very few places are locally, so this is very convenient. read more

Tre Colore is a neighborhood find for sure! The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly - and their pizza is always great. Traditional is certainly an option, but their Sicilian pie is a family favorite. Tre Colore is our go to for family pizza nights as well as family/friends parties and everyone raves about how good the food is. As you can see by my posts, I travel extensively. When I am anywhere near Millstone, NJ it's a given that I will be going to Tre Colore as often as I can. Their Shrimp Parmigiana or Shrimp or Chicken Franchese is beyond incredible. Have it with their angel hair pasta and their wonderful red sauce. I can say enough great things about this place. I've only been here once, but I enjoyed my meal so much that I felt that a review is merited. Tre Colore has an interesting menu. Its a mash-up of pizzeria fare, Mexican and BBQ. I decided on Mexican. I had the smoked brisket burrito bowl. It was delicious! It took a bit longer to prepare than I expected, but was worth the wait. It arrives in a taco bowl that seemed to be totally devoid of grease! OMG, when does that happen? It was full, generously balanced with ingredients, just the right amount of spiciness (bold enough to speak; tame enough to not be shouting) and topped with fresh cilantro. The pizza looks amazing. That is my next venture here. Now for some specifics: - Parking: adequate - Location: convenient, right off of Rt 35N - Setup: typical pizzeria style with a counter for ordering, tables by the counter for pizza, lunch, etc. and tables off to the side/rear with a more restaurant feel to them for a higher level of service (dinner, etc.) - Staff: friendly and accommodating - Appearance: a bit dated. It is comfortable enough, but the place would be awesome if cosmetically renovated to look fresh and current. - Pricing: on target with competitors - Bathrooms: I didn't use, so can't comment - One turn off: the waste bins for trash and recycling are the ones with the push lids. Those get dirty very fast and these were dirty with an appearance that things had dried up on them for days. Its the one negative, but it stands out to me because I honestly did everything I could to not touch these surfaces, using what was in my hands to push them open and drop things in. This is SO EASY to address. Its just a matter of being attentive to this detail. Everything else was good, so it was a bit disappointing to see this. It would be great if the owner read this and had this corrected or if perhaps I just caught this on an off day. Summary: Definitely go. Easily the best pizza in the area. Besides the great "traditional" pies, they have great special pies. My favorite is the buffalo chicken pie, which is second to none. They also do a great spinach-chicken-Alfredo sauce pie, and now serve NJ "fat" sandwiches. read more

We went here after pumpkin picking nearby. We were seated in the area in the back and ordered nachos, quesadillas, taco salad, and the Nutella pizza. The chefs here apparently recently added the Mexican food since they grew up making some similar stuff. The owner gave them the opportunity to introduce some of the items. The tortilla chips are made in-house for both the taco salad bowl and the nachos. Would certainly recommend the items we ordered, particularly the taco salad which was refreshing and the Nutella pizza which is topped with fresh fruit and tiny marshmallows. While searching Yelp for something new to order for delivery, I stumbled upon this listing. Even though it is Pizza and BBQ, figured I would give the BBQ a try. The first encounter was the delivery man, in the most awkward way possible, to not order from there again because the delivery distance is too far. I a BBQ combination, which cost about $15, consisting of Beef Brisket and Sausage, with beans and fries. The presentation involved the meet being tossed into the container with some BBQ sauce poured on top. The Brisket was tender, however, lacked flavor. The sausage was kielbasa, probably store bought. The beans tasted burnt. Needless to say, I had no problem with the delivery man's request... No need to order from there, it's not worth it. read more

I ordered from their online service and it came to me wrong (it only came with 1/2 cheese instead of normal full cheese). When I called the pizzeria to let them know, their help Katie basically told me in so many not nice words that it was my fault and to go complain to their online service. Not what I expect from a place where I have been a customer since 2011. I didn't want a refund or a new pizza, I actually just wanted to let them know it was wrong and maybe a sorry would have helped. Maybe they don't need my patronage. Found a great place in Tre Colore. Red sauce and red sauce dishes are awesome. We especially enjoy the Calamari and Veal Parmigianino. The Pizza is superb also.
