I am very disappointed I ordered a vegetarian burrito for one the Burrito is way too big and has too much sauce on it to the point where it's too slimy and when I pick it up it falls apart please fix this issue because it smells delicious and it taste as delicious but it's so hard to eat read more

Food is yummy and the staff is super nice!! Their Sicilian was awesome! The jumbo garlic knot chicken parm sandwich rocks!!! It's the worst when you call a pizza place and there are so rude and arid. But every time I've called to place an order they were very professional. And even nicer when you go inside to pickup. We ate at Trattoria Tre Colore for the first time and we very pleased. We were greeted immediate upon entering the restaurant and offered a table. It is a casual restaurant with plenty of seating. Our server, Courtney, was awesome. She is best server we've ever had in years. She offered us drinks and gave us time to review the menu. Since it was our first visit she gave us suggestions on meal options and described the entrees. We opted for the Brooklyn Sicilian pizza which turned out to be a very large deep dish pizza, enough to feed several guests. She also gave us garlic knots which were excellent. While it is not required, it is always fun when you are new to a restaurant and receive something extra which you didn't expect. She also suggested fountain drinks since they have free refills. Back to the pizza - it was delicious. It was served on a separate stand which gave us space at our table to eat. It was nine large pieces. We each ate 2 so we had plenty to take home. Courtney boxed it for us so we didn't have to wrestle with trying to get it into the box without ruining it. It reheated well. No hype: this place serves the epitome of the best of New Jersey pizza.  The crust is thin and the pizza is so good with toppings to satisfy your discriminating palate, you will eat a least 1 slice more then usual.  And if you didn't order enough the first time, the desert pizza with Nutella is phenomenal as well. If you have cravings for pizza in the morning - they have breakfast pizza, loaded with breakfast goodies like bacon, ham and eggs. Ok, so I ordered my food off of GrubHub, the delivery time was expected to be around 3pm, however, my food came at a much more reasonable time which happened to be 2:20PM. The driver was polite, telling me that I ordered online so I did not need to sign anything, and thanked me for my prepaid tip. A copy of my receipt was included inside the unnecessary oversized box, which was told to me by the driver. The driver only rang my doorbell once, not a problem. I ordered a full meatball parm sub, a snapple, and garlic knots. I was very confused why they gave me 3 paper bags and a big brown box for my order. It is not helping the environment to be placing everything into giant bags and giving me a box. I was very upset with this, considering how much energy a single paper bag costs to produce. Also, the amount of pollution and other harmful activities that occur from over usage of these types of bags. I feel it would have made more sense to just wrap the sub, not put it in a bag, then wrap the knots as well. They did not need their own bag. Also, the Snapple did not need it's own bag. The meatball parm was cut perfectly in half, I measured with my measuring tape and it was a full, even, 6 inches on each side. The bread was amazing and the meatballs fit perfectly between the breading creating the ultimate meatball experience. There could have been more cheese, but I understand that too much cheese isn't always the answer. So, thumbs up to Tre Colore for that one! Moving on quickly, the garlic knots were cooked nicely, they were average size. They could have been a little larger, and also the sauce could have been more zesty. I, however, am full after eating the exquisite meal. My snapple came in a plastic bottle, not a glass bottle. When glass is recycled it gets turned in to more glass. It can be recycled over and over and never lose its integrity. Plastic bottles, however, are not recycled into plastic bottles. The plastic loses its integrity and needs to be turned into something different such as plastic lumber or carpet padding. Because of this, some people say that plastic isn't truly recycled; it's downcycled. The same thing goes for the paper bags and cardboard boxes. Have ordered takeout twice in the past week. Delicious food. Love the tacos. I could eat them every day. They taste fresh and remind me of some of the top taco trucks in NYC. Presentation is perfect. The burritos were tasty as well. We also tried some of the Italian food and the chicken cheesesteak California. Everything we have tried from here has been on point. Tre Colore's lunch specials are the best value in Middletown, with large portions, rapid delivery, and most importantly of all correct, delicious Italian favorites! Not surprisingly, the Chef may not be Italian, but he is very serious about Italian food. There are a few tables in the hallway around the corner from the front counter. I found it worthwhile to take my wife there, meet the chef, and enjoy some of the finest Italian food at any price...but even better directly from the oven. Go see them! read more

Order from here maybe once or twice a week while I'm at work. Never actually tried the pizza but I've eaten a few sandwiches and their BBQ. So far I haven't had anything I didn't like. They're delivery is usually within 30 mins, no complaints there. Sometimes they do forget little things such as extra balsamic, ketchup, things like that. However the quality of food there is great. Ordered from Tre Colore in Middletown, NJ a few times. Estimated delivery time is off by 30-60 minutes. Tonight the Restaurant had taken an order (and my money), gave an estimated delivery time, closed due to the weather and never contacted me to let me know they were closing. Another time the estimated delivery time was 40-50 minutes and after 2.5 hours I called the restaurant to follow up on my order and they told me the order was on the way and would I like a manager to call me back. I told them yes. The manager called at 11:00pm (several hours after order was placed and an hour after they closed) and woke me up. The manager had an attitude and said the restaurant was busy and that was why my food was late. Order delivery elsewhere. read more

I'm so highly disappointed in my food I actually created an account here to write a review. The woman I spoke to told me pretty much it's too bad that this restaurant gets highly reviewed. Well not this time. I ordered chicken parm with grilled chicken. 15$ for three slivers of chicken with barely any mozzerella and water sauce. It was disgusting. Very disappointed in the delivery time, for a Monday evening, not during Lent season...delivery took 1 hour and 40 minutes and arrived cold. I ordered a shrimp burrito bowl via phone last night. I asked the woman taking our order what was in it and she said rice, beans, lettuce, cilantro, Guac, sour cream, cheese, and you can add shrimp. I asked for no beans or cilantro. When my food came there was only rice corn shrimp and sour cream. All of the other ingredients were missing so I give the resturaunt a call. The woman who took my order originally answered and apologized for the missing ingredients explaining she was new. I said no problem can you just have the driver come back ASAP with this missing stuff so I can add it while it's hot. Meanwhile everyone else was eating there dinner already. She said hold on and passed the phone over to a man. He told me that she was new and didn't know the menu well and that stuff I was promised wasn't actually included in the dish. I said ok we'll she told me it was so can you send it. He began to get very very rude with me and tell me no. He began yelling at me which is really unprofessional. I said ok I don't want this then, you can come pick it up and give me the money back. He said ok and hung up. 25 minutes later the driver came back and said here is your guacamole . I said no I don't want it now my dish is cold and I'm disgusted with your manager and restaurant I just want my money back. He was very kind and said ok let me just call and make sure that is ok because that was not what I was told. He called the same gentlemen and this time he was very nice on the phone (a big switch from the last call) and I said no thank you to the guacamole and he gave me the money back. To be honest I don't need the $12 , but it was just principal at this point. I did not want to give any money to this place. I just wanted the meal I was promised over the phone and eat with the rest of my group. I am really disgusted with the service here more specifically the gentlemen who I found out was the cook.
