Undercooked, floppy and just not good pizza like all the Italian pizza places around. Not sure what tomatoes are used in the sauce but had an off putting taste to it. read more

The calamari was not crispy and the sauce was sweet. The carbonara I ordered was probably the worst I've ever had- just cream and bacon. Truly awful. The cheese and basil on the margarita pizza was flavorless. The 1 saving grace was the crust was crispy, and the sweet sauce worked on the pizza. The best thing about the entire meal was the free bread for the pasta. read more

This establishment should probably alert online ordering sites of their closure for renovations. I placed an order and went to pick it up only to find out that the location was closed for renovations. No alert from the online site and Had to call and waste my time speaking to someone with broken English for a refund as well as my time driving to and from the location. read more

SO DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!!! After being a loyal customer for 20+ years at the original Marlboro Pizza, this new service and food was beyond upsetting. We ordered 3 half sandwiches & fries and it was $40!!!!!!! And nothing had taste , the fries didn't even have salt on them? How do you mess up a plan sub as a pizzeria? The service was also very odd... two young teens working the counter were practically flirting with each other the entire time while taking my order. Very uncomfortable. They messed up the woman in front of me order & both laughed when the woman did not find it funny. Just very disappointing after absolutely loving the original place so much. Excellent food and service. Our first time here but definitely not our last . Stop by this hidden gem of a restaurant when you can . They offer take out pizza on one side and a newly renovated sit down dining room on the other . Shrimp Scampi over angel hair was light and delicious , complimentary fresh rolls and glass of wine were very nice touches too. Even their dessert was excellent. Family owned and run with a pleasant hospitable owner who goes around making sure everyone is happy . We will be back soon! read more

Folks , especially those who know me in Colts Neck & others in the area, please give Renzo's/Marlboro pizza a try for dinner! Before "Renzo" bought the old Dusal's/Marlboro Pizza, I used to frequent Dusal's/Marlboro Pizza because it was convenient, less than a mile from my house & it was good. Before that, I never knew Renzo. Since he has taken over ownership earlier in 2022 & renamed it Renzo's/Marlboro pizza, I've definitely noticed an increase in the quality of the food! On the Marlboro Pizza side of the restaurant, you can stop in for lunch in the traditional pizzeria-type setting to enjoy a wide variety of pizza by the slice. All more delicious that the next! I myself am partial to the pepperoni, eggplant and grandma's pizza. But you'll definitely want to stop into the Renzo's Restaurant side of the business with the white table cloth covered setting for dinner one night to enjoy the fantastically fresh pasta dishes! Tonight, I had the Paisano Chicken which was deliciously spicy. It came with a side salad & fresh garlic knots! It was all too much for me to eat, so I took home a good portion of what I can't wait to have for lunch tomorrow! And all for a very reasonable price! I heard about this restaurant from Billy Spadea on 101.5. Since I live a few towns over I wanted to try it. I have been looking for a great Italian restaurant. This was worth it. The owner was great and very friendly. The food was very delicious. The desert was out of this world. It was on Wednesday. It was quiet but it was a great night. Check it out. I heard weekends get busy. If you want a nice quiet evening go Wednesday or Thursday night. Its a byob too. There is a liquor store next door if you forget your wine. I will be back. read more

Love Renzo's! Hubby and I go there for lunch at least once a week and dinner every few weeks since he bought the old Marlboro Pizza. The quality of the new Renzo's/Marlboro PIzza has improved remarkably! For lunch we usually get a couple slices of the Grandma pie, which is a square pie like a Sicilian, but thinner, a sauce which is a little sweeter and more of a "homemade" taste, covered with slices of moz cheese, and garnished after baking with freshly chopped basil leaves. DE-LISH! But dinner is where Renzo's really shines! We start out with soup (I love the minestrone, which comes in a large bowl and could be a meal all by itself). Hubby orders his chicken dish, Francese or Piccata depending on his mood, and I get something with eggplant. Both entrees are huge and cooked perfectly. Both are accompanied by almost a dinner-sized helping of the pasta of your choice, covered with plenty of sauce. We both enjoy food, but we've never been able to finish all of it, and what we take home makes another meal, so it's a great value. The last few times we dined there the Italian bread served along with dinner was rather ordinary, but at our most recent visit we were served knotted rolls which were a delicious improvement. Almost forgot to mention the server! He was Renzo's son, and he is as polite and attentive as you would get at any upscale restaurant. He checks on us several times during each course, and somehow manages to unobtrusively refill our water carafe without either of us noticing. If I had to complain about something, I guess it would have to be the name of my last dinner entree: stuffed eggplant. It's not, as one would expect, rollatini, but eggplant parmesan. Luckily I happen to like eggplant parm so I never mention it. Renzo's is nearing the completion of his construction, so I can't comment yet on the coffee bar, but I'm looking forward to checking it out! Stay tuned. read more

my wife and I gave Renzo's restaurant in Marborough a shot. If you are looking for the best New Zealand muscles and red sauce you ever had this is the place. The specialty dishes are amazing also the traditional chicken Parmesan was the best I've ever had. The chicken Milano portobello specialty of the house is amazing. Renzo and his wife Azra are here to greet you and make you feel at home. I highly recommend it and I am one Picky Italian. read more

we were Dusal's regulars so when they sold after 2-3 decades it took us a while to try out Renzo's. Renzo's is like Dusal's but better. Dusal's inspired entrees but lighter. The parm is delicious and the monterosa has same great flavor without the cream. Also, the owner is actually nice and smiles! Is it Renzo's?? Is it Marlboro pizza?? Not only is the new name confusing, but so is the new set-up following their renovations. You walk in the door and then you have 2 choices. I followed the sign pointing to "slices". I entered a space that was a narrow, 5 foot wide area and you walk up to the tiniest display counter, where you could barely see the pizzas. The 2 small tables there were so unappealing to eat at...claustrophobic. When I questioned the new set-up, the woman behind the counter encouraged me to go through the "other door". I followed her directions to come into a large dining area, where you cannot see any of the pizzas, spices, napkins cash register??? This area is clearly meant for sit-down dining. She did, of course, accommodate me, and I ordered one cheese slice...no fountain drinks available, and no diet soda to be found in the fridge. I settled for diet iced tea. The pizza was really bad. If you held it by its crust, the whole thing flopped down, and then, of course, the oil starts running all over. It was so soft and floppy... not thin and crispy. In addition, it was tasteless. Sorry, but I will have to move on. Fortunately. Meli's pizza just opened next to Home Depot and Shop Rite (in Marlboro). read more

Two night's ago after my daughter, Lucianna, got out of her band practice for the Marlboro High School performance, Chicago, we stopped in to ask Renzo Kolenovic, if he had any pizza that Lucianna could provide to her classmates as part of a school assignment for the next day. Renzo asked, "When is your class?" Lucianna told him that it would start at 2 pm. Renzo said that he would make fresh pies and deliver them to the school. He did just that!!! Lucianna said that ALL of the students were able to enjoy this delightful, delicious treat that Renzo himself delivered to my daughter at Marlboro High School! Renzo Kolenovic is an upstanding citizen who puts our community, and especially our children above all else. If you haven't given his restaurant a try lately, you should really check out the new look!!! Very chic & appealing!
