Got takeout from here the other night and was pleasantly surprised! The penne vodka was delicious and not too heavy. My side salad was a Caesar dressing and the dressing was a little thick but it came on the side so it made a delicious addition. I definitely would order again! read more

A hidden gem in Central Jersey, which is loaded with excellent pizza places. Buried in this easy-to-miss shopping center heading west on Route 33, Tre Colore has the goods to match Brooklyn Square or any of the other more famous pizza palaces. The Sicilian is top notch and the marguerita is among the best you'll find. Tre Calore is our favorite Italian Restaurant. They are consistently excellent. From take out for dinner or catering they are accommodating . New Year's Eve they decorated and had ample service. Poor service to start. The garlic bread was over spiced. The bread in general was "white" NOT Italian. The salad was iceberg lettuce. The food is incredible, from the pizza to the dinner. On weekends we dine in and have no problems besides waiting a bit longer for the food but it is well worth the wait(Best marinara sauce I have ever . We order delivery almost every week. This place has become our go to for pizza in the area. Pizza is great and they have a great selection of combinations on the menu. Plus they deliver which is a rarity where I live. Only reason I can't give them 5 stars is the wait. On a number of occasions they have given us an estimated wait time of 40 minutes for pick up. Came here tonight with friends for dinner and the food was very good. For an appetizer we ordered the Artichoke Hearts Française. They were very tasty. For dinner I ordered the Chicken Saltimbocca, it came with a house salad and a side of pasta. It was very good. The pasta was good also. The other dishes the table ordered were Chicken Sorrentina, Chicken Piccata, and Chicken Française. I was told that they were all amazing. For dessert I ordered the Tartufo. It was outrageous; possibly the best tartufo I have ever had!!!! My friend ordered the special chocolate and it was just as good! Without a doubt the worst meal I have ever had. The fish entrées showed no signs of cooking by flame and actually tasted as if it was flash boiled. It had no taste nor a flaky consistency and actually tasted mushy like tofu. I order from here alllll the time. I always get the same thing. I ordered thurs, they told me over the phone my total was 35.16. I went into pay and used my card. This time they did not offer me a receipt. When I checked my transactions they charged me 42.16! And when I called they told me there was nothing they could do because I didn't have a receipt! One of our favorite local Italian restaurants. We come here every month. We usually order the Shrimp Fra Diavolo and the Frutti Di Mara as these are our favorites, especially over spinach. Ordered from them for months now because they are close to my workplace... never had a problem until last week. Ordered a pizza and a younger delivery driver who seemed new delivered the pizza and the cheese was all over the side of the box. Called and they sent a new one out... and the same problem. Guess the kid was driving too fast? They agreed to give $5 discount which I never received. Then the next day ordered from them again to give them another try. The same delivery driver left the food on an unsecured ledge and it fell and spilled out everywhere as soon as he walked out. Called the manager (who REFUSED to give me her name) and after giving me a huge attitude, she agreed to send out another order after the old one was given back to the driver. I stated that the food was in the trash because it fell out all over the floor and had to be cleaned up... but she continued to argue with me. THEN proceeded to hang up on me. Called again and she said she would give me a refund which I still have yet to receive. The delivery driver ended up coming back empty handed to my job to pick up the food that fell on the floor.. when I told him it was in the trash, he threw his hands up and cursed before angrily walking out. Overall terrible experience, I've worked in many restaurants and I've never seen such unprofessional behavior. Definitely lost a loyal customer. read more

Wow, should of read the reviews before we came. They are spot on. The food is good, but the horrible service ruins the meal. We were visiting my parents who suggested this restaurant. Now they know not to come again. Ignored from the start for about 20 minutes after seating, then the food came slow and then slower. After an hour and half another table and ourselves went hunting for our food. Manager did not really care and was nasty, but food then came out for some of us, although at room temperature. Judging from the reviews, this has been going on for years. The restaurant was about 75% full. What gives? Gave an extra star since the food was good if I imagined it hot. read more

Only five minutes from the Freehold Raceway Mall, and ten minutes east off Exit 8 on the NJ Turnpike. This place is worth checking out if you are in the area. The BEST pizza around. Their delivery time is ALWAYS before they commit and who doesn't love that. Their pizza is always hot and fresh, and they also have gluten free crust. When the new owner took over, we really wanted it to be like when Gino owned it-great pizza, great food, but it wasn't at all. The pizza's sauce is lacking something, just not right. The dough is either too doughy is not very tasty. We only had a chicken parm dinner there and a chicken marsala. Nothing exciting, nor were the dishes. I went once for dinner and had pizza from them a few times, but never again. The pizza is just not good to me.
