Trellis salad was outstanding. Had the half steak sandwich and salad. Steak medallions were tender and the staff was awesome!

Manager was awesome, great food, top notch service and fair prices. In Lehi there are a lot of inexperienced younger workers in the food industry, many of which could care less about the client. This isn't the case at Trellis, it is refreshingly obvious they care about customer service and train/employ their people accordingly. This is now one of our favorite places to go in Lehi, eating outside today was just fantastic. read more

I love Trellis Cafe! The manager Jen is the best and really takes care of you! She remembers you from visit to visit and ensures you have the best of service. The food is delicious. Fresh and light. There are very few places around the area where you can sit down for a nice light lunch that isnt fast food. The view is gorgeous, you are up on top of a hill and you can see all the beautiful gardens in the distance. My only complaint is that sometimes you get a server who is newer or who maybe isnt attentive as you wish, but they take care of you enough where it balances out! Its a great experience. Trellis cafe is my favorite place to eat. I take my family here almost every week! (But not during the tulip festival because it is way too busy.) The food and service are both good, but the atmosphere makes it a top notch place. I love to get the table overlooking the gardens, lavender lemonade, and the chicken salad. We went to visit the Tulip festival on a Wednesday and enjoy the beautiful grounds. The tulips were fabulous. There were nine of us so we decided to have lunch at the restaurant. Big mistake! We were told it would be 30 minute wait. No problem - except it was more than one hour. Took forever to get water (we had to ask). The delivery was slow. The food was nothing to wait for or would we go back again. Our server was pleasant but I believe the restaurant was extremely under-staffed or just not trained well. Once again the grounds are beautiful. But don't waste your money at the restaurant. read more

Love this place! The manager immediately greets you with her upbeat personality and weather permitting and availability always sits us outside on the amazing patio! What a wonderful view! Then the service is just is great, very friendly. They always have time to ask you how your day is. And don't forget about the food. TASTY! We stopped by this cafe a couple of years ago on the way back home from a SLC business trip. The first impression was horrid! The manager was rude to us. She was a female (sorry I don't recall her name), I'm not sure if she's still there. I hope she's not because this could've been a pleasant restaurant to remember and revisit. She tried to throw in an apology before she said some passive aggressive comments. The food was mediocre. I met some friends at this place for a nice lunch. We sat on the patio which is a wonderful setting right next to the Gardens at Thanksgiving point. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got the open faced grilled cheese sandwich with avocado. It was very well prepared and the avocado was in good condition which is not always something you can count on locally. I also had sweet potato fries which were great and the dipping sauce was tasty. One of my friends had a chicken sandwich which looked wonderful with a lot of other ingredients besides just chicken and my other friend had a quiche. The problem we ran into was that when we were seated there was only one other group on the patio and several other people were seated after us. Just about everybody got their food before we did.We must have waited for at least an hour from the time we order till we got our food. The waitress said it was coming several times without our asking so she knew there was a problem. I think they need to be more organized in the kitchen. This is such a cute cafe with a lot of wonderful staff. We had the waitress, Riley Wilson, and she was lovely! She took care of us and made us feel very welcome! The manger, Jen, made sure we have the best table on the patio and made us feel special. My boyfriend's favorite thing when going out to a restaurant is having his water always full because of how much he drinks and the bus boy, Kevin, kept it full the whole time. We've been going to The Trellis Cafe for years. The food is top quality and the service is consistently top notch. The manager is professional, friendly, gracious and always spot on. When out of towners visit we insist the Turkey Avacado Club or Angus burger are a must do. One of the most delicious and prettiest places to eat in the state. Trellis Cafe was one of the highlights of our summer in Utah! The amazing service by Jen, the manager, and Jennifer, our waitress, was 5-star. They made us feel at home and made stellar recommendations off the menu (mango raspberry lemonade!!). The tomato soup is their specialty, and I ate every drop. Everyone enjoyed their food. I'm writing this review with mixed feelings. The restaurant is surrounded by some beautiful scenery. The meal we had was flavorful but a little on the cold side. Being involved in this industry for many years I've found that you can find a good meal in most places so what will set you aside is your service which for me I'm sad to say was horrible. The worst part is that the worst service came from management. The manager treated my wife with no respect and when I called her on it she then came with the most insincere and condescending apology I've ever heard. I for one will never return to this place again and recommend that if you are considering Trellis Café at Thanksgiving Point Gardens to look at other options. read more

Great sandwiches. Usually really good service. I have only had one bad experience here and it wasn't food related. Our waitress completely ignored me. Not sure what was going on. My whole table was shocked by it. Anything I asked for was ignored. I had to ask for a drink four times. Other than that one bad experience every other time has been delightful. The hostess is always welcoming and brings toys out to keep the kids busy. Their sweet potato fries and fry sauce are so delicious. They have patio seating that looks out over the gardens. So beautiful if it's not too hot. One of our favorite places to have lunch. read more
