Seriously? I can't believe this place. I was just here 2 days ago to get a full set, the very next day one of my nails chipped. Not broke, just the corner chipped, obviously they were left thin and weak by Kevin. I just left there right now from getting it fixed. I was charged $5 dollars and on top of that they charged me $1 for using a refit card. The same credit card I used two days prior and I was not charged that extra dollar for. So in total I paid $6! In all honesty I was ok with paying the $5 even tho they should've fixed it for free but when they hit me with that extra dollar I'm like Seriously! I will not ever be going back here again! This place is great. I don't rate nail salons lightly. It's nice on the inside very classy and clean. Nice decor. Doesn't feel crowded and ghetto. Mary did my gel nail. Was gentle when it came to using the machine on my nails. She did amazing quality. Was very patient and kind. I wish I lived out here because I would make this my spot. Better than my spots in Redlands. Mindy did my toes. She was amazing and kind. She saw me yawn and told me I could nap in the chair when she took me to do my pedicure. She pays attention to detail. Gel mani/pedi is $45 Great gel color selection I consider myself to be a laid back customer, not picky about what nail technician does my nails, with that being said.. it's a nail shop and I expect their nail technician to know how to do nails. Monday afternoon, place is slow I am not sure if she didn't speak English but I told the nail technician the nail polish was not coming out even. My husband and I are big advocates of Yelp and ironically...neither of us have written a review. Most ratings and reviews speak for themselves but on rare occasions a business is not given the "kudos" it's deserved so Trendy Nails will have to be my first review in that regard. I rarely get my nails done but I happened to be in the area and had at least an hour to kill so I just stopped by the nearest nail salon. I'll be honest. I checked Yelp, saw the 3 star rating and had low expectations. The shop was closing soon so I happened to be their last customer (Mary stayed to help me). She recommended holographic (gel) nails over a hot pink base. I had no clue what new trend that was but went along with her suggestion and I am pleasantly surprised to admit...I absolutely love the finished product. Quality work in under 40 minutes; great conversation with a knowledgeable and friendly manicurist; and a clean, stylish salon tucked away in an unsuspecting plaza. I was told they just remodeled so I was lucky to have stopped by when I did. Needless to say, I will be back to get my nails done in the future despite living at least 25 minutes away. For the price and results, it's definitely worth the drive. read more

I got a pedicure around the corner but they couldn't get ingrown out, so I decided to tell them to leave my toenail alone that I would COME HERE instead thinking they would just get out for me & wouldn't be a big deal since it was just one toe. I love, love, LOVE this place. I'm so happy that they do hard gel nails because I'm allergic to acrylic. Kevin and Mary do such an amazing job on my nails(they are the only two that do the hard gel). Everyone that has done mine and my daughter's pedicures are awesome as well. Everyone is kind and courteous here and they try to make their customers happy. Went today while i was in Norwalk. Kelly did my nails and Holly my toes. Now Holly always did my nails in the past and does a great job. Kelly did a nice job too, she charged me more than Holly ever did, I guess because I went to Holly for 10 years, she didn't charge me for length of my nails etc. All in all decent place and clean. Came to the right place ! Mary , Kevin and Michael did an amazing job with my nails and pedi . First time here and I'm sure it won't be the last . I'm in love with my nails . I showed then a pic from Pinterest and they were able to do my nails just like the pic . You can only tell they love what they do by doing an amazing job ! Mary didn't give up on finding the right matching color and gave me a perfect coffin shape . Kevin finished my nails up with the acrylic, more shaping and the gel polish . i went in to ask for a SOAK OFF. the lady filed my nails barely to make them more thin to soak them off then proceeded to rip them off with pliers. i said "i asked for a soak off" she said "why soak off if this is so much faster and easier" i tried to tell her i have sensitive nails so i would like a soak off. she sighed, took the acetone out and poured it and put my nails in. 6-7 minutes passed and she began to file them down to make more then and then pulled out a tool that i don't even think is for nails & decided to try and dig under the acrylic and my real nail to rip them off. i sighed and she said "are you okay?". I SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR A SOAK OFF AND SHE PROCEEDED TO RIP THEM OFF. she didn't even shape or file correctly after ripping my nails off. paid $16 for something i didn't even want and she insisted bc it was easier for her. My prior review still stands as far as cleanliness and friendliness. Sonny and Kevin are the best for manicures. I wasn't too happy with mine today, the nail tech cut me twice, filed down my nails when they were all a perfect length except two, and did a sloppy job on the paint job. Not COVID-19 compliant. Worst place I've been! No checking of temp, and they don't ask to wash your hands! But I washed my hands before I left the house so lucky for me and them. The lady who was sitting outside doing mani on the customer didn't ask me anything so I went in. Now the lady inside asked me what do I need, so I said mani and pedi. So the other lady asked me to sit down on one of the chair to start my pedi. Then after 5 minutes the employee from outside went in and asked if I have an appointment and I said no. So she got upset and told me next time you need to make an appointment. First of all on yelp it says you accept walk in. Then your door doesn't have a sign "appointments only". Lastly, when I went in your other employee didn't ask me if I have an appointment. Like really!? You expect people to know? So, instead of getting my mani done I told the lady I'm not gonna do my manicure just pedi since she already started. Then she said I can do your mani also I will ask. I said no it's fine so you can do your appointments. I told her that I will come back the next day ... but nope... never mind... Burned my eyebrow twice and I had picture day the next day which left me with a scar. Then I gave them another chance and they messed up my eyebrows again! It was my First time on March 8, I visited my parents at their new house in Norwalk and my mom recommended me trendy nails. Nails were done by Kevin. So pretty! But! Acrylic didn't last too long, needed a fill in just a week. And just for that reason I took away one star. And pricey but what can we expect nowadays, nails are expensive now. I had an ingrown nail on each of my big toes for so long so I decided to get a pedicure also, I did nude and French tip on my toe nails, came out so pretty! I just completely forgot to take a picture! We're in the month of June now and I'm starting to feel the ingrown nail on one big toe so I gotta go back, can't wait for trendy nails to reopen! I see why all the negative reviews. Some of the staff can be cold and standoffish but multiple trips and you can see they're mostly friendly. I first came in on a Sat afternoon for an eyebrow wax and waited 20min. In their defense, they were a bit busy and under-staffed. I have since been here more than five times for full sets, fills pedicures and wax and have had different estheticians every time and they've all done a good job!!! I'm not really one to write reviews on a place but I can't help but write one for this place. For starters it is VERY overpriced for the poor service that they give. My mom, boyfriend and I went here since our main spot is closed for remodel and I regret it very much! My moms nails fell off not even a week after she got the done, my boyfriend got a pedicure and they took not even 10 minutes with him and they charged him for a "massage" that was practically just dumping a glob of some blue thing and just rubbing it which by the way costed extra and they didn't even ask if he was okay with it. For myself the pedicure HORRIBLE, I suffer of ingrowns at times and this lady "took it out" and 2 days later my toe had puss coming out. I would never recommend this spot to ANYONE, the charge for EVERY little thing and they don't tell you about it until you're going to pay. read more

The only reason I would go to this salon was because of Sonny. He listened to what I wanted and would periodically ask me if everything was to my liking to see if anything needed to be fixed. He had exceptional customer service. Last week I called to make an appointment with him but was notified that he no longer works there, when I asked if they knew by any chance where he works now, they hung up on me. My go to for years! I ONLY go with Mary for my hands, who is the previous manager but new owner and really turned the shop around after it's remodel. All the employees know me and it is such a good feeling to go in and they always make me feel welcomed. For toes I would highly recommend Jenny or Lynn. Even though I have my preferences, if you have never gone in I would recommend trying anyone who works there as they are all good in their own way. It's taken me two weeks to compose myself to write this post ! I went to this salon to get a pedicure ,we were having a family party so I wanted to look nice ! I went with my two daughters and daughter in law . So let's just say we are going to spend some money here ! I have Parkinson's so at times I can't control movement in my legs , I have been to many salons and technicians are usually very understanding and patient ! Top line nails in Pico Rivera !!!! Another aspect of my disease is my nerves if I'm nervous it enhances it ! My technician kept giving me annoyed looks and immediately started Talking in her language to the other employees obviously about me then after about five minute said something to I guess the person in charge and said she would not wait on me ! I was in shock never has anyone refused me service and I was embarrassed and humiliated in front of my kids ! My daughter tries to explains my handicap and she could care less even the owner !
