Our first time on this restaurant as we crave for Italian food and when we entered the restaurant, the ambiance is welcoming! The dining area is setup nicely. Spacious and comfy. The bar area is fairly large with comfy cushion barstools, the kitchen seem well maintained and the staff very friendly. We ordered the caprese to start a glass of house red, the Bolognese special and a Penne de Campo with sausage. The entrees were a bit in the salty side. I just had a few bites maybe two of the gnocchi of the bolognese special before my mouth started to feel grainy. The caprese I enjoyed a lot along with a glass of house red. I would love to return to try other items on the menu, I'm sure I will find a favorite dish along the way. There was many entrees to choose from and the pizza options did sound delicious! We came to eat dinner around 8:20pm. We got seated and nobody approached us for around 7 minutes. I had asked the waitress if the pumpkin ravioli is made in house or frozen and she said that they make them there. My fiancé also asked if the meatballs were made there and she said yes. We asked because if they weren't made there, we were going to get other dishes. (I can understand that not everything is going to be fresh all the time.) The food took a while to be prepared which seemed promising and made us feel that it is being prepared fresh. Once our food arrived it looked very sad. My ravioli was coated in 5 table spoons of oil and while the ravioli itself was just okay, I do not believe they are made at Tresinos. My fiancés meatballs were bland and also tasted frozen. By the time we got our food it was 8:46, so I didn't want to complain cause I know everyone wants to go home. So, I drained the excessive amount of oil onto another plate and ate my ravioli. The flavor is very similar to the Butternut ravioli you can get from Costco. The best thing we had there was the water, it actually tasted really good! Very sad about this experience cause we just moved to the area and are looking for places to have date nights. The reviews looked promising but it was one of the worst experiences I've had here. read more

It's Saturday night, we're getting hungry and I'm thinking, Chinese cuisine sounds great. Me: "Hey Siri, what's the best Chinese restaurant near me?" The "other" Siri: "I'm in the mood for Italian food" Yes ... I was thinking the same thing, good call honey. So, Tresino's is easy to find, plenty of parking, the ambiance (inside and out) is cozy and laid back. Employees are very friendly and work well together. My wife's choice: Penne Senato w/chicken pesto cream, artichoke hearts, garlic and sun dried tomatoes. Wow, ok ... this pesto cream sauce would be good on anything! If you're a fan of cream sauces, this is for you. I personally would've chosen the shrimp for my protein. My choice: Fresh catch of the day, grilled wild salmon. For real, I could eat salmon on the daily. I asked for my salmon temp to be med-well (not overcooked) Prepared to perfection! Moist, flaky and not overly seasoned! An interesting Italian place with delicious food, great prices, and some of the best service around! We found this place thru Yelp, and wanted to check out if the reviews were true. The place is always busy and smells amazing even from the outside. They managed to fit us in and they were packed! Our server was great and took care of us, we have almost no wait which is amazing given how busy they were. Their menu is pretty extensive but every sounded amazing. We ordered a few of the pasta dishes and each one (yes each single one) was some of the best Italian food we've ever had! We aimed for variety and got classics with each one. We ask ordered a few drinks and decided on some desert. Worth every sip and bite, amazing! On top of that all the prices were very reasonable and well worth the food. Everything we had here was so delicious and fresh. The tortelloni romana sauce was so delicious I wanted to scrape the bowl practically. The lasagna was a very large portion, gave the comforting flavors that we wanted, but also gave the refreshing flavor of real tomatoes for the sauce. My daughter's fettuccine with chicken was also on point. It wasn't too much butter flavor so the cream and cheese still stood out and the chicken was perfectly cooked. We came here last night for good Italian food. Unfortunately, everything was far from good. The calamari seemed to be frozen that they fried, large rings and heavy on the breading. As stated on the menu, the supposedly brick oven pizza had nothing to do with brick oven. The waitress had to look at the menu after I asked "Is it really a brick oven?" it was tasteless and doughy. We had to return our chicken marsala as it was horrible, and we couldn't even cut it with a knife. The pasta that came with it was terrible. The side of vegetables that they charged almost 6.00 dollars was nothing to speak about. If I could return every dish, I would have. Even the bread was bad which I had to ask for. What a disappointment. We ended up going to Del Taco to eat as my husband couldn't eat anything. read more

My kids had the kids fettuccine and it was good but the garlic was strong for them. I loved the left overs. The staff is very nice and friendly. One of the best Italian restaurants this side it Italy Pizza is cheesy deliciousness, pepperoni has just the right spice with delicious sauce. Their side-salad with chicken is darn near a full meal, with olives, artichoke and more. Love the dressing too! Pasta is made fresh, no cans or freezers here, just what grandma would have done it. Service is fast and friendly, and they don't make you feel like they are 'turning the tables' too fast. Small cozy family feeling inside the restaurant, comfy and cozy. We have been here several times and the food, service, and wine have been outstanding each time! It is a lovely cozy spot to bring friends or family. I most recently got the tortelloni romana at the recommendation of our lovely and attentive server, and it was simply delicious. I thought it would be too rich as it's cheese stuffed tortelloni, but the pancetta and sweet peas give SUCH a nice play of salty and sweet flavors. This is a small restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The inside is low lit, they had a guy playing guitar/ singing when we were there. They give you flatbread that they call garlic bread, it was good. The calamari was pretty good here. I ordered a cocktail with watermelon and mezcal and it was just okay. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and asked for pasta as the side(you can get pasta or broccoli) and they brought me broccoli so I had to send it back. I wish I can save about my dinner, unfortunately the sodium levels were so high it was almost inedible. I didn't finish the dinner because it was just too salty. My date ordered shrimp Alfredo which was also salty, but not to the level of the chicken parm/ pasta. Staff was nice. After reading all the positive reviews, I don't know what the hype is for this place or we just came on a bad day. read more

We have been long-time customers of Tresinos. Whenever we host a Christmas party, they are our caterer of choice. The food is magnificent and last night was no exception. Everyone loved the food, and the three servers Gino, Cheryl, Karen, and our busboy to help clean up--David, were all fantastic. When the service was finished, everything was put away for us, my kitchen was clean and my floor was even mopped. Clean, efficient, friendly, delicious, just the best. I grew up in a neighborhood with lots of Italian families and even worked at an award winning Italian restaurant. We have been in the area for 3+ years and tried a dozen different Italian restaurants. I finally found one with food like the Nonnas used to make for me. Even my retired Chef husband was impressed. The staff (especially Brian) were fantastic. My food allergy was not an issue because everything is fresh and made to order. Water glasses were never empty and they brought more flat bread so I could sop up the sauce. We tried the Penne Senato and the Tortelloni Romano. We added a petite Pere e Gorgonzola salad. It was perfect for the two of us to share. The Tiramisu we took home was heavenly. We will be back. So many more things on the menu to try! read more
