I asked for a rounded haircut with lots of layers and face-framing pieces and I showed her my inspo photos as well. She first washed my hair and then got started on the cut. Yessenia did an amazing job! She was friendly and professional and gave me exactly what I requested. I wasn't sure whether to go with lighter or heavier curtain bangs/face-framing pieces, and she knew exactly what would suit me when she suggested sticking with lighter face framing. She also somehow managed to style my frizzy Indian hair perfectly without using much tension on the brush, which was shocking to me. She really listens to what you're looking for and provides the most beneficial input where she feels is needed, which has been extremely helpful when I'm struggling to understand which path I want to take my hair in for our sessions. Woke up early today Saturday to take my mother for her first ever hair appt scheduled for 9. We get there 9:12 (i believe) and theres a stylist there already working. States the stylist Sarah is on her way. To me is a red flag as if youre doing color & highlights your station would at least be prepped already.. we waited sitting there till 9:45 hoping she would show up..never showed up. The stylist there was kind enough to call her again (no answer) and offered my mom help but i declined. We set this appointment up for her as we have a party later today and had the time slot specifically for this. Waste of time & waste of a drive to sit there for about 40 minutes hoping she would show. This literally ruined the day. Didnt get a follow up call or nothing. Called this place and luckily they do walk ins and they quoted me good price. Good location, easy to find and has lots of parking and its not a hectic parking lot. Excellent service. I was quoted a different price on the phone but because I have really long hair the price was more but it was still cheaper than anywhere else. Plus they shampoo and blow dry.
