Triple A Cafe in Fort Worth is everything you hope for when you walk into a classic diner. I came here after reading the reviews and it completely lived up to the hype. It is a smaller spot with a great atmosphere that feels like an old school diner, but a little more polished and comfortable than your typical hole in the wall. Easy to get to and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Service deserves a special mention. My server, Marcus, was outstanding. Easily one of the best waitstaff experiences I have had anywhere. He was friendly, attentive, polite, and genuinely appreciative. Yes sir, no sir, always checking in at the right times without hovering. He made the experience even better. For food, I asked Marcus what his favorite item on the menu was and went with the Big Tex Omelet. Fantastic choice. Huge portions, hearty and filling, and cooked perfectly. It came with a generous bowl of grits and two biscuits, all of which were excellent. You really cannot beat the value for the price. I also grabbed a slice of pecan pie to go on Marcus's recommendation and it did not disappoint. If you are in the area and looking for a great breakfast spot, this place should be at the top of your list. I will absolutely be back next time I am in town.

I had breakfast here while killing time before a flight home. It's another case of me dining at a place, liking it, and then forgetting to write a review. I often, in the past, and even now think it's not a good representation of a place to review it after only one visit. So, what ends up happening is I never go back, and never end up writing a review. I am on a mission to change that! Thanks for liking my pic, John C., you inspired me to write this review! It was a nice little place with pleasant staff and a cool vibe about the place. I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns. It was a unique presentation, as in the fact they were actually full on sausage and biscuits with just regular pepper gravy over top of them. I have never seen it served this way. Tasty though and the hash browns were cooked perfectly! Must be a TX thing on the sausage biscuit set up!!! I love Tx!, so I love this too! '25 - 112/111

I was looking for an affordable cafe that would provide a good selection of food, and Triple A Cafe delivered. The location has lots of seating available ,which is great for the brunch rush that was there while we sat down. The space is nice, and the service was above and beyond. Our orders were easily placed and provided! We ordered the following: Baconator Omelette $15.39 Bacon, tomato, spinach, avocado, and cheddar cheese. - With a side of pancakes California Benedict $14.29 A toasted English muffin topped with cream cheese, poached eggs, avocado, diced tomato, bacon pieces, and Hollandaise sauce. Loved the quality of food and how much they provided for the cost. They do have brunch drinks available, so if you're wondering, do not miss out on dining at this classic diner!

Greeted at the front door with a smile. Big open area that has a bit of a farmhouse. The menu is pretty simple and straightforward with breakfast on one side and lunch on the other. All the food was delicious that we ordered as well as the takeout for the rest of the family at home service was very pleasant And I will remember this place for future outings.

Green Machine. Egg whites, spinach, jalapeños, scallions, and mozzarella. I had them cut the green peppers.

We were on our way back from DFW Airport and decided to stop for breakfast. This is a breakfast and brunch cafe and they serve breakfast and lunch anytime they're open, which to me is a plus. The breakfast and lunch menus are both quite extensive. Nice exterior and cute neat interior. Tables are divided into different sections and it doesn't feel crowded at all. Marcus, our wait person, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. My husband got eggs and made choices like a build your own. He asked for bacon, hash browns, pancakes and fruit. I ordered the Green Machine. It's egg whites with a lot of yummy green things added, except I had them hold the green peppers! I got sides of toast and fruit. Both of us enjoyed all of our food immensely. For the pancake connoisseurs out there, their pancakes are more on the chewy side and not cake like at all. Perfect for us. We will stop here again when in the area. I would really like to try some of their many lunch options.

Food was good and hearty. Many good selections for breakfast. Service was quick. Waited very little to get seated. Come for breakfast after the 6-8am rush. More seating available then. We came around 9:30am and did not have any wait. Ambiance good , but could use a bit of improvement to make it more attractive from the street. Great place to eat one of the most important meals of the day!

We walked down here from the Marriott. It's a busy restaurant in a strip mall. Loud family atmosphere. Good service. Food was better than average. The fried chicken was excellent. Gravy was ok.

Cute little cafe conveniently located near the airport. Quick service, super nice staff. We came in on a Saturday morning around 9:30-10 and were sat immediately, but it got busy! Parking is easy as it's in a shopping center. Food was good, honestly nothing extremely special but was good. I just can't say it was one of the most memorable meals of the trip. Prices are reasonable! Definitely recommend it, especially if you're around the airport.

First time here on a weekday wasn't very busy at all I had the big Tex omelet with a side of pancakes and grits . Really enjoyed my omelet and pancakes, wasn't too much of a fan of the grits they weren't cooked enough . My waitress was very very nice though and I would honestly come back.

Stopped in after our flight landed. It's less than 10 minutes away from the DFW parking area. The dining area was very clean. There are lots of breakfast and lunch options on the menu. Prices are reasonable. We ordered omelettes with extra crispy hash browns and biscuits. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Stopped in as we were lost looking for another business. Pleased with the outcome here. We were greeted upon entry and seated quickly. There were a lot of people in the restaurant which is always a good sign. The food was delicious, and the vegetables were fresh. It's very comfortable in the restaurant and it's fairly quiet. Stopped in here one early morning on our way to DFW airport. I always prefer a mom n pop restaurant and the reviews were pretty good! From the outside it looks like any other strip center breakfast place. Once you're inside it feels like the same. Then our waitress came to our table and that's when the service really shined. She was obviously part of the family that owns this and took pride in her restaurant. It was very clean and she was always filing our coffee and handled our order quickly and efficiently. I ordered the Greek omelette because I loved that but came with lamb meat and feta cheese. Wow I was super impressed when she brought my breakfast out. One of the better omelets I've had in a while. No fake eggs here. Lots of great ingredients and tasted really good. I also ordered the biscuits and grits as my side. The grits were good and the biscuit as well. Not sure they're homemade though. Overall I was pretty impressed with the quality for the price.

We stopped in for brunch on our way out of town and Triple A Cafe did not disappoint! We didn't have a wait but the wait did build up as we were eating, so get there early or have patience (or both) . The large menu selection was perfect and everything we ordered was a hit. The wait time for food after ordering was not long at all and our waiter was cheerful and didn't miss a beat! There was lots of booths as well as tables, with a small patio outdoors for when the weather is nice. I will definitely be eating here again when we come back to the area

Standard breakfast menu - food is fine, but nothing especially notable. Omelettes are more of a folded scramble rather than a true omelette. Coffee was a bit too strong and only little creamer pods rather than real half & half or cream in a pour cup. Good and fast service on a weekday. Bathroom urinal was leaking water on the floor. read more

The food was delicious. Our server Joey was amazing help and so welcoming. I love French toast and he recommended the cinnamon toast French toast and it was amazing ! Not only that he gave us a tip to try it with their strawberry cream cheese and it made it even more amazing !!! My husband made what would be a sampler and he enjoyed it . I am a faithful Yelp customer. Visiting the area and saw this place had 5 stars so it was a no brained to try it. It did not disappoint. Like everyone said, immediate service and kind staff. I will like to start of by rating the service a 10/10, there are nice friendly and always trying to familiarize with the customer. I don't think I have ever felt more at home so far away from home then I did with Triple A, the food was just like grandmas with the popping flavor and abundant portions gave me choices from just eggs n bacon to veggie paninis just every choice after the next sounding delicious making it hard to place your order in the first place but once one of their lovely servers come around they made my choice 10x easier talking to me like a friend and giving me real honest recommendations and explaining each dish I mention looking good, and shoutout to Devin and Joey for being todays new friends, gave me A1 service and left me with a smile on my face with their kind nature, Thank you Triple A be back soon ‼ read more

My flight out of DFW was delayed 3 hours - decided to skip the bad "free" breakfast at the Hilton Home 2 Suites and go out for breakfast. Tripe A Cafe was fantastic! I had the Classic Eggs Benedict - eggs were poached just right, the Hollandaise sauce was great and lots of it, the hash browns were cooked to perfection, the coffee was rich and good. The staff were friendly and attentive, but not hovering - just right. All-in-all a great way to negate the stress of the delayed flight - I will go here again every time I am around DFW. It was barely 11 am on a Tuesday. My coworkers and I were able to get coffee and charge our devices. There is an abundance of charging outlets all over. There is even a little seating area for children to sit and read or play. The staff was polite and helpful. We ordered with ease. I like that there is plenty of seating areas inside, two different outside patios downstairs, seating on a second level and another huge patio area upstairs. To get upstairs, you can take the stairs or use the elevator. Besides beverages, you can purchase pastries and merchandise such as t-shirts. This is definitely one of those little shops to come, sit and work while you sip your tea or coffee. It's Uber cute and trendy. Check it out!!

At the same time, my alcohol tolerance is horrible and I just would not have been able to handle any wine or other drink with alcohol. Thus, I could not enjoy the specialties of this establishment. Instead, I got the chicken pesto sandwich. Although quite unassuming, the sandwich was incredibly delicious. The ciabatta bread offered just the right amount of toast and texture to hold everything. There was a sizeable chicken breast. Not dry but also not too flavorful by itself but that's okay. The pesto really delivered on the flavor with a savory, nutty, and slightly herbal flavor. In the future, I'd love to try a one of their many drinks - non-alcoholic and alcoholic included!

Other seating includes table with benches (beware you can't move the benches to get in & out, if I'm wrong I apologize), then some a few tables with chairs by the windows, on the other side they do have benches facing each other with tables in between (great for groups!), & beautiful outdoor patio seating. They have a small upstairs with chairs & use wine barrels as tables. Clever! Customer service is okay, let me say that every person there has been extremely pleasant but out of the four times I've been there, only once I didn't have an issue. They seem to enough their jobs & working together, which is a green flag for any place, but sometimes they get distracted. One time I stood there & staff was chatting in the corner, a good amount of time passed before anyone noticed me. Another time, they just forgot my drink (it was the only thing in my order) & there were no other order left... the group was again chatting away with with each other, then during another visit they forgot my croissant. Each time they did apologize, but three out of four times aren't good odds. I probably won't frequent this location as much, but I will stop by once in awhile because their drinks are worth it.

I'd be completely remiss if I didn't mention the monster rolls brought out for the table--they are giant, incredibly airy, golden popovers served with a spectacular rosemary honey butter that steals the show before the main course even arrives. For breakfast, I wanted to stay on the healthier side and ordered the Sinclair Breakfast with chicken sausage. The sausage delivered incredible flavor with a perfect, distinct peppery bite. The plate was beautifully balanced with delicate microgreens, and the breakfast potatoes were a total standout--perfectly executed with a great outer char and deep flavor. Paired with excellent, robust Lavazza drip coffee, it was a flawless start to the morning. Across both visits, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and highly attentive with beverage refills. A quick note on seating: the patio is lovely in theory, with the optional open windows and a breezy feel, but the chairs are not winning any comfort awards. Inside booths are the move. Also worth noting, this is Fort Worth, and once the thermometer hits triple digits, the patio conversation ends itself if the windows are open. Plan accordingly. Malai starts every table with steamed sticky rice and an eggplant dip, which is a charming little ritual and a genuinely good one. We also kicked things off with the Edamame, a heads up on the heat level there, and the Fried Imperial Rolls, filled with ground pork and shrimp and served with a sesame soy sauce. Fair warning: these do not photograph well and arrive at the table looking a little shy. Don't be fooled. They're flavorful, subtly spicy, and well worth ordering. For entrees, we tried the Basil Vegetable Fried Rice two ways, one vegan and one with chicken. The vegan version was a genuine surprise, with vegetables cooked just right and a flavor that didn't need the chicken to make its case. The mushrooms, however, had the texture of something you'd find in a hardware store. Chew at your own risk. The Green Curry, meanwhile, was a case of too much of a good thing. The curry was so heavy-handed it drowned everything underneath it. Sometimes restraint is a virtue. Save room for the Banana Pot de Crème. It's creamy, subtly sweet, and a graceful finish to the meal. The service at Malai is enthusiastic, and I do mean enthusiastic. The staff works as a team, all smiles, attentive, always nearby. Occasionally a little too nearby. More than once a plate nearly disappeared before we were done with it. It's a small complaint, and honestly a far better problem than the alternative. They're warm, cheerful, and clearly enjoy what they do, which goes a long way. Portions are generous, so order a few dishes and share the wealth. For a lunch stop between shops, Malai Kitchen punches well above its weight.
