I asked to speak with the owner but was told the owner was not there. A man who identified himself as the general manager came out. I explained what I had observed. The only question he asked was, "Do you know how many oranges fell onto the floor?" I replied that the number wasn't the issue. My concern was that oranges that had contacted the floor were being put back into the juicer. I did not feel my concern was taken seriously, and I requested the owner's contact information. I did not receive it. Because I believe this is a serious food safety concern, I reported this to the Highland Village Code Enforcement Division for investigation. We were excited to celebrate a special occasion here, but instead we left concerned about the restaurant's food handling practices and the response from management.
