THIS meal was a 3 out of 5. I've had skillets from here before which were great! It tasted like the syrup was sugar free, the blueberries overpowered the pancake by far and they didn't taste the ripest. The hash browns had a heavy taste of raw starch. They weren't undercooked or raw just gave off the flavor of it. The service was top tier! I forgot the name of the gentleman that served us but he was very attentive, courteous, and personable. He mingled with a few of the tables he waited on, mine included but not in an overbearing or annoying way. This is be our go to place to eat every time we come to watch a cowboys game. It was recommended by our hotel staff and wow were we blown away! The service is absolutely fantastic every person is very sweet and very attentive. The food was on point and we came two times in a row one day after the next, sadly we had to come back home but I wish we had a restaurant like this back home in San Antonio, rating 5stars is not enough of how highly satisfied we left. I felt compelled to review Triple A and specifically our server, Markus who was enthusiastic, super friendly and efficient. We were very much just passing through the Dallas area as we flew in early in the morning but headed on the road for points east, but now before catching a late breakfast/early lunch at Triple A. The menu is vast, and I love it when I find a place that makes it hard to decide what to try as there were so many good looking options. My gyro omelette was great, and my family enjoyed their options as well, but Markus was tremendous, offering several suggestions and really tending to anything we needed, all with a very upbeat and enthusiastic attitude. Long story short: Great customer service and delicious food. There were so many options. I say this a lot on my reviews, but I love me a burger so once I saw breakfast burger on the menu, I didn't even bother looking at anything else. I ordered mine medium well with a scrambled egg and omg it was amazing. Burger was juicy, bacon was thick and crispy and the egg was seasoned deliciously. If savory breakfast isn't your thing, they also offer many sweet options like pancakes and French toast. Unfortunately, I did not get our server's name, but he was awesome. 8-19-2023 - We live near another Triple A location and everything here was compared to our local restaurant. This location has a larger dining area with several booth options and tables in the middle. Although it is too hot these days, they do have a few tables outside. The very veggie omelette was consistent in size, presentation and taste, full of veggies and cooked to perfection, fruit and biscuits are our go to sides. The winner of this visit was the garden skillet, it has so many veggies, eggs cooked to order, it looked great and tased even better. Paired with two light fluffy pancakes. I have never been fooled by high star ratings. I went thinking I was going to eat good food, and instead it was less than cafeteria quality. I didn't even take a picture of my food, it was that uninviting, and the flavor was no better. The staff was super sweet and friendly and went above and beyond in customer service, which definitely made up for the poor food. I had an Avocado toast (don't recommend it) and my husband had a croissant sandwich (he would have preferred a costco croissant over the fake croissant bread he was given). From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted by an upbeat and very friendly host. This dude is awesome to say the least and had an infectious personality. Our server was just as friendly and did a wonderful job of ensuring all of our orders were correct, all without writing anything down! First meal upon reaching Texas. God damn, there was nothing to do upon arriving at the airport at 6am so good thing this place was open at 7am for us to at least grab breakfast. Wanted something light so ordered an avocado toast and although all the financial planners might shame me, a millennial for spending money on avocado toast, there will rarely be a chance for me to invest in a loaf of quality bread and have ripe avocados on hand to make myself one at home since I never eat breakfast. The avocado toast came with some fruits on the side. My friend ordered egg benedicts and it looks amazinggg, just too heavy for me to order such a portion first thing in the morning.
