Stopped here for lunch and had their well advertised signature garlic noodles and popcorn chicken. I chose the garlic noodles with chicken and found the dish was very flavorful. However, the garlic was a little burnt, the noodles were a bit "al dente" and the chicken was overcooked. I also tried their popcorn chicken. They served a healthy appetizer portion size with chili powder on the side. The chicken "tenders" were very tender and the chili powder gave it a much needed heat that I was able to control. I would go back and try some of their other food dishes and to try some of their unique signature drinks. Overall, it is a fairly good millennial place in the South Bay. read more

I usually love going to this place, service has always been amazing, food is good, but after my last visit, I was pretty disappointed. We went in the early afternoon, not many other customers, maybe 2-3 other small parties. Ordered a few appetizers that came out in a timely manner, however our garlic shaken beef noodles took an excessive amount of time to be brought out to us. I would understand if the restaurant was busy, but instead, the people who were serving us were dancing, giggling, and gossiping behind the register. I love this place for food, but the service sucks. read more

Really love this place! Gardena has a LOT of boba spots, but majority of them don't have a food menu like triple-t does. Everything I've tried is pretty good here, they have a bunch of instagramable food/drink items. Plus the angel wings mural is super cute. I had their popcorn chicken & shaken beef w/ garlic noodles which was really yummy. Don't need to go all the way to Cerritos for cha20 when this place is just as good if not BETTER! Interior is simple but fun. Its located right next to El Camino which makes it a perfect spot for students to chill and study between classes. Lord knows ElCo needed a nice little boba shop nearby. This place is spacious with lots of seating and a decent sized parking lot! read more

Atmosphere - liked like it would be a fun place but they were doing take out only. Service - slow. Gal at the counter was taking phone orders while the other 2 were standing in the side. Might have helped if they could take walk in and phone orders simultaneously. Taste - chicken wings were tasty but very tiny. Tropical Passion boba and taro boba were a disappointment. Although the food and sweets are amazing. The level of cleanliness worries me. The owners wear aprons to the restroom and wear sandals. The service needs a bit more attention to detail; you can't expect a big tip it all you do is order taking. The food was very good though. All the food was on point and that's why I would love to give it 5 stars but for sanitary reasons, I won't. read more

I visited on a Saturday night. I had no problem finding parking. The strip mall was not exactly what I expected. But when I entered Triple T the atmosphere was different. We ordered garlic chicken noodles and chicken fried rice. The rice was velvet good, I like the seasoning on the chicken. The noodles were not that great. The mango drink was good and the sunset drink had an artificial fruit flavor. I may go back to try other drinks like a tea because they sound delicious. read more

The food was good but the service sucked! They didn't have what I paid for, they told me They didn't have the noodles after the fact I paid. You pay before you get seated which sucked! This place is pretty good! They give a decent amount of food for what you pay for! It's like the Hiccups cafe but with tons more options for green teas with boba. Definitely like this little whole in the wall, it's perfect if you just wanna have a hip little dinner. And they're opened pretty late too. I got the mango green tea with boba and jelly and it was delicious! Also got the the egg rolls and the beef garlic noodles. read more

Don't be fooled by the pictures this food was absolutely disgusting!! Very disappointed Was so excited to come here because of the pictures the garlic noodles tasted so weird didn't have a lot of beef for the price I paid the noodle soup also was missing flavor my boyfriend got the teriyaki chicken didn't even taste like teriyaki ! Definitely never coming back here it even gave me a stomach ache didn't feel good for the rest of the day, no wonder it was so lonely on a Saturday afternoon read more

[Review #295] 2018 Yelp 100 Challenge (60/100) After a short trip to the South Bay Galleria Spring Carnival this afternoon, I needed a drink after a whirlwind ride on The Tornado. I had Triple-T bookmarked when they showed up as "Hot & New" under the Activity page... so I took H to Triple-T to cool off & to get a drink to fight off the nausea. The boba shop had huge windows, which should bring in light, but the dining space felt dark. There's plenty of seating, including booths & bar seating by the windows. Watch out for the floor transition as you approach the order counter, it's a doozy! If you're not going to fix the uneven floor, then highlight it with bright paint, caution tape, at least something so your unsuspecting customers don't trip & fall. :-| After trying to find & access the pics on their Yelp page (my phone just maxed out of its high speed data), I gave up & described the drink in question. Our boba mixologist said it was the Sunset Drink. I asked if it was made with tea & he confirmed it was; noticing my hesitation, he said he can make it without tea (it was for my daughter & she doesn't drink tea). Yay! :-) And I ordered the Mangonada Chamoy Special. Not sure why our drinks took awhile since the other customers ordered food. The Mangonada Chamoy Special consisted of mango slush, mango cubes, Tajin, & chamoy sauce. Chamoyadas are new to me so I'm not an expert... Triple-T's is pretty good with the exception of the mango cubes; they were nowhere near ripe, had no flavor or the deliciousness of a good succulent & sweet mango. :-( The fruit took away from the potential of this Mangonada, instead of highlighting/elevating the drink. H loved the rainbow ombré of her Sunset (Tealess) Specialty Tea Drink (strawberry, passion juice, & blue tea). I'm not sure how he removed the tea component... the Sunset was a tad sweet for my liking, of course that meant H loves it. I'm guessing if the tea was not removed, it would have been a better balanced drink. For a relatively new shop, it seems a bit worn & rundown, & the furniture could use some light dusting. :-| The unisex restroom is a hot mess. It's either a haphazard patch from its predecessor or it deteriorated that quickly. And there's an off-putting moldy odor? :-O There's 2 IG walls for pics: the "angel" wings & manga on the back wall by the restroom. Its location may not have/generate a lot of foot traffic, but it is near El Camino College, so there's plenty of parking available. Triple-T offers a fairly large menu that includes entrees, which could slow the drink production process. Other Yelpers have complained of the lengthy time to receive their drinks. H noticed the tantalizing smells when we entered; the mixed reviews didn't help/make a case so I'm not sure if I would eat here. And there were several diners that had a lot of leftover food... were the portions that generous or were the dishes that bad? For now, Triple-T's drinks hits the spot. It's not exactly convenient for me, but if I'm in the area, I would drop by again for their drinks. Cheers! read more

If you under staffed and unhappy then go to the back and scream and cuss but Why are you so sour and make sure the customers can hear you while passing by with the food and complain it's too busy ? There was one elderly lady maybe in her 80s with possibly her two daughters. They were sitting there for at least 45 minutes when the waitress came up and said I just want to double check your order that's when they realized that the waitress didn't even put their order in they were saying in Korean that please don't leave. Granny is here and we will get the food out as soon as possible and yet as they were leaving the table, you can see them with a smirk on their face. It was disgusting. The worst part is isn't actually even over there must've been a table of 20 across from us celebrating a birthday and they were there before we were and they must have been served at least an hour after us and the waitresses were so rude to them. I felt so bad for that party, but they looked so laid-back. I don't know if they really even noticed or cared. We ended up trying to pay for 10 minutes to get out of there and finally just got our own containers from the weight station a plastic bag and as they saw that we were leaving they finally took our payment Maybe this was an off night maybe there was a different cook in the back maybe they were so busy that they just couldn't pay attention to flavor any of their food or cook it thoroughly. Maybe they were short and someone called in for staffing. All I know is everyone with the prior reviews seem to have great service and food, but this is definitely not what we experienced and definitely not what the table behind us or the table in front of experienced This was by far hands-down, the worst experience. Been going to this place since it first opened. The food is great. There is a problem however that I've started to notice as time past. Their services seem to be getting worse and worse. Recently I ordered Beef fried rice and Popcorn Chicken and I clearly heard the employee repeating my order especially repeating my order of the beef fried rice. But as I looked at a receipt, it was chicken fried rice. I didn't make a complaint because I still like the flavor but I was a little mad of her messing up again as usual of my order. In the past I didn't complain much when I ordered my food and it was wrong order because I was still satisfied with it. But I was still suss of them messing up. Also I remember a friend of mine I was with ordered bulgogi beef noodles but instead they gave him bbq pork and rice. I honestly feel bad for seeing more negative reviews and having a bad name. They really need to improve their service and importantly train their employees again that way they will not be getting customer orders wrong. So in the future, hope this place will get better. Also to cook their food well and not burn or rush. read more

So I've always wanted to visit this place because of the IG ads and finally went in. My first impression: the place is clean and average size with only indoor seating. We arrived during lunch time and got the lunch combo. We were super hungry and normally everything tastes 10x better but I can't say that was the case with everything we ordered. I had the shrimp garlic noodles and my friend had the kimchi fried rice. I really enjoyed my noodles but the kimchi fried rice was average (lacked a little flavor) but I must say that portion size was huge! We also had some of the appetizers: the spring rolls were pretty good but the sweet spicy wings and garlic Parmesan fries were just ok. The pictures definitely looks better in some cases. The best part of the meal was the Thai tea. It was really good. Might revisit if in the area but not a favorite. read more

I love the way TripleT makes their foods, the garlic noodle was flavorful, sometimes they add much garlic, but sometimes they add just few, but it is ok, I never complained about the amount of garlic on the noodle, it is just the fact that I loved how their seasoning the food. It was on point. The pine apple chicken fried rice and seafood fried rice is the best. I couldn't find the any other place in SouthBay that can make fried rice as good as Triple-T like a traditional Chinese fried rice. I'm just so in love with their Golden Milk Tea. Never tried the mermaid smoothie, but I will try them next time when I came. Overall, The menu price is so affordable and food is delicious. Because I have come the other place that have the same concept but way too overprice, not as good as Triple-T. This will be my regular place from now on. read more

I didn't expect too much when I visited this place, but the noodle is beyond my expectation. I have to admit that the noodle here has unique flavors, i tried some of the place has garlic noodle , they only put garlic and butter, which was really lacking of favor. Triple T garlic noodle has their sauce mixed with it. I love garlic , so that's why I ask for more garlic in my order. You can always ask for more garlic or less garlic during the order process, and the drink I ordered was strawberry peachy, so refreshing, lots of favors and they put many pieces of fruits in the tea, which satisfying my thirst after eating the noodle. So this is just my most favorite place to have lunch, their service was fast . Their foods was on point, especially the shaken beef garlic noodle was the most yummy dish that I have ever taken, and drinks was good too. But I love their foods better. They have huge menu, huge dine - in area . When I first time came here, I was so impressed since this is my first time seeing tea house that is so spacious. coming here through the week days since I was El co students, the space is always packed. My wife and I came to this place yesterday. After seeing it so long, we had the chance to try Triple T food. Food was 9.5/10 with my own reviews. I ordered garlic noodles with shrimps, wings, fried rice, and egg rolls. They was delicious. In my point of view, this restaurant is awesome in every aspect. Exceptional services, food and staff in here. Also they have beautiful decor and attentive services. Finally, I will come back this restaurant with whole my group when we have a free time. Triple-T garlic noodle is the best in town. Been so many tea house that i would say it wasn't the best boba, but it is the place offering many choices from foods to drinks. Garlic noodlle is good enough, not too much garlic, or not too few. The tast is just enough for you to taste it. Beside that, the price is much cheaper compared to hiccups, which other tea house that I am used to be regular. Everytime I have been here to have lunch since I am elco student, I received good service from staffs here. That's why I love them so much. read more

Keep seeing the ads on facebook, and now I give this place a try. Wow ! It is really a bomb. The decoration surround is so cute. The mermaid tail that they decorate is eatable , I was told by the cashier it was made by chocolate, so I get piece to try and it was so good to taste with the smoothie. I and my husband ordered the tom yum soup and shaken beef garlic noodle. All of the foods were so bomb. It was busy on the saturday night when we came, but it is definitely worth the wait. read more

Tried this place out for togo order, and it was so delicious. I have to say the best Fried Rice in local Gardena, Torrance. I have tried so many chinese restaurant but no place makes Fried Rice that is so tasty like that. The flavor is just right enough for you to enjoy your rice. My experience here was ok, not great when it comes to your order. I was asked multiple times on what did I order. I had the 6 piece chicken wings lemon pepper flavored. That being said, everyone I know that does like Sapporo style ramen say it is good. But then, why am I giving this place 5 stars and why do I eat here so often? Tomizo added tsukemen to their menu, and they have the best tsukemen in the area. It's a very rich heavy fatty tsukemen, and it blows away everywhere else's tsukemen in the area. The portions are always extremely generous as well. The most important thing is, they use actual tsukemen noodles, they are fat and thick, while a lot of places near here give you ramen noodles for their tsukemen. The other thing I absolutely love about this place is that they have seasonal ramen, and while I'm not a huge fan of some of them, other times they are just amazing. The current seasonal ramen is a cold cream tonkotsu style, and it is absolutely divine. My partner got it last night and it was so good, I wanted to come back tonight to get an order of it myself. I absolutely hope they decide to add it to their main menu permanently, because a cold ramen dish would be a god send to have readily available. The staff are all wonderful, incredibly attentive, and are all very cheerful and upbeat. The music variation changes quite a bit. Sometimes it'll be vocaloid heavy, other times it'll be very late 90s sounds of Tokyo (Fantastic Plastic Machine, Pizzicato Five), or sometimes an early 2000s jpop play list. As someone a little older I don't think there's ever been a time I didn't enjoy the music being played. They also always have dodgers games (reruns during the offseason) playing on a tv for the local fans. The only real bad thing about Tomizo is the parking lot is tiny and shared with a sushi place that can get busy. So parking can be difficult sometimes.
