    Chorizo breakfast burrito.

They have the best breakfast burritos. They are so big and filling. Highly recommend. They are now serving them until 1:00pm.

I feel like I just got robbed of my $14, i'm not sure why anyone likes this mediocre cold breakfast burrito, must be fat people only, the thing was just full of hashbrowns and cheese, barely any egg & two pieces of bacon no flavor you need the green sauce just to give it some flavor, this is a garbage burrito for the price you pay, y'all need to hit up Pepe's to get a better breakfast burrito.

Most people will tell you that they have a spot that has the best breakfast burritos. Well, the search is over my friends. This is thee elite burrito for your 6 am commute. The fried zucchini is arguably the best side I've ever had at any eatery. That old school feel of a diner style spot where the food and the service is spot on, then you won't be disappointed. Got to TROYs, go Tonight! Parking situation can be tricky since it's limited and down a slope, so park on the street and walk :) P.S. the carne asada tacos are ridunculous.

I want to give 4 stars so bad. I'm kind of a breakfast burrito snob, and I have been on the quest for the best one in southern CA. Basically if there is a breakfast burrito on the menu, I'm getting it. I think I saw this place on a tik tok, so I had to try it. This is my second visit. I wanted to love this burrito, and it has sooo much potential! Is it the "best breakfast burrito" as their sign says? Not for me, but still pretty good. The good: very good ratio of ingredients. A lot of places stuff them with potatoes and make them hash brown heavy, they don't. The tortilla is awesome. The amount of cheese was perfect, and the salsa verde was also very good. Not so good: Everything was overcooked. The eggs were cooked to death, and the sausage seemed like it was from the day before and microwaved. The cheese never melted the whole time I ate my burrito. In my opinion (and I'll make you the best breakfast burrito you've ever had) you have to leave the eggs a little loose (over medium is even better, but not many willing to take that on) so that it's not so dry. There needs to be some gooey or greasy! All in all the burrito was a 7/10, and service was good. I'll be back, but I want to try a few more joints first. Maybe that will change my opinion.

This is more of a wrapped quesadilla- A very sad burrito.

Troy's used to be my go-to spot for breakfast burritos, and I always thought they served a decent-sized burrito. It's been about six months since my last visit since it's not on my usual route, but today I decided to stop by on my way to work. To my surprise, the price for a burrito was over $13 pretty shocking for a breakfast burrito. On top of that, the quality just wasn't there. The cheese completely overpowered everything, with barely any meat or egg inside. Honestly, it felt more like a quesadilla than a burrito. The service was just ehh, nothing to talk about. Also, be careful when leaving the parking lot, cars parked along the street block your view, making it tricky and a bit unsafe to pull out. Overall, very disappointing, and unfortunately, this will likely be my last visit.

If you are going there for lunch, I highly recommend you get the burger off the menu. I am not kidding. It is one of the best tasting hamburgers I've had in a very long time. The restaurant was dark and stylish, and I immediately liked the vibe. Even though it was crowded for a Thursday night, we were seated within 15 minutes. We each picked a shareable dish to split. Predictably, my daughter chose the mac and cheese. I rolled my eyes -- it's so her -- but it turned out to be the best of the four. Maybe it was the velvety cheese sauce or the golden cracker crust that made it so irresistible, but that mac and cheese was, as she'd say, absolutely bussin'. The next standout was the maple-buttered Brussels sprouts, my man's pick. If all vegetables tasted this good, I'd eat them every day. Candied pecans, maple butter, blue cheese -- how could that not be amazing? Was it healthy? Sus, but definitely worth it. I picked the pig candy for the group, which was outrageously sweet and candy-like. Clearly, this wasn't healthy -- bacon, sugar, and rye whiskey caramel make a trifecta of indulgence. But it was so delicious, I couldn't complain. The sliders were the last shareable we tried. They were fine but didn't stand out -- the meat was a bit dry. I also ordered a cocktail (something pretty and fruity, though I can't remember the name). The bartender nailed it, delivering a delicious drink. My man enjoyed his Negroni. The service was great, and I loved the grassy area with fire pits for hanging out. Excellent place for our first night out in Irvine!

Disappointed because I'd been there before and enjoyed the food, but maybe it was the Mother's Day menu that was the issue. Portions seemed smaller too, but that could be the economy, I don't know. I wanted to share some comprehensive feedback regarding a recent experience, aiming to highlight both your successes and areas where further refinement could elevate the customer journey even further. First and foremost, I must commend your team for their exceptional warmth and hospitality. From my initial phone call to the moment I picked up my order, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued. This level of customer service, which often feels lacking in many establishments today, truly sets American Grub apart. It creates a welcoming atmosphere that significantly enhances the overall experience, and I sincerely hope this commitment to friendliness remains a cornerstone of your operation. However, I encountered a couple of points that, in my personal opinion, warrant consideration for improvement. Regarding the payment process, I felt a degree of apprehension about providing my credit card details over the phone. While I understand the operational need to secure orders and prevent potential losses, particularly for larger transactions, for a single item like my bacon cheeseburger, priced at $17.24 including tax, this practice felt somewhat disproportionate. I also noted the 99-cent fee for online payments, which, while minor, might deter some customers who are seeking convenience without additional charges. Perhaps exploring alternative secure payment links for phone orders or adjusting the fee structure for smaller transactions could enhance customer comfort and streamline the process. My primary concern, however, arose upon returning home. Despite ordering a bacon cheeseburger, I discovered the burger completely lacked bacon, as well as any form of sauce or mayonnaise. This oversight had a significant impact on the meal; the absence of these core components rendered the burger quite bland and far from the experience I had anticipated. When ordering a single item, the expectation for meticulous attention to detail is particularly high, as there are fewer variables. Consequently, the overall value of the meal, given the missing ingredients, was not quite met on this occasion. I did reach out to the owner privately via email to discuss these points, and I appreciate their responsiveness and transparency in addressing my feedback, particularly concerning the rationale behind the phone payment policy. It is reassuring to know that your business is open to customer input. My hope is that these observations can serve as constructive input, allowing American Grub to continue refining its excellent service and product quality. I remain a supporter of your local endeavor and look forward to seeing these aspects addressed. Thank you for reaching out. To clarify, all my reviews and communications are crafted solely from my personal experiences and genuine perspectives, not AI. Every word and insight you read is authentically mine, driven by my commitment to provide honest feedback. Even though the review was long..(lol) I wanted to make sure the details are accurate and understandable.
