A definitely hole in the wall. This place is a typical diner style but much smaller. I wish the breakfast burritos were served all day, I was lucky enough to get there at the 11:30 stop time. Fresh giant delicious breakfast burritos! They are packed with hashbrowns eggs cheese (I think) and your choice of meat. Ask them to cut it in half and there is enough there for 2 people to share. Ham is our favorite and don't forget your salsa! read more

Troy's is a standard hamburger joint. It must have been built in the 50s. The ordering and take out food window is located outside. There is only a small indoor dining area. Most people order their food to go. As far as the food goes, it's above average. I prefer the breakfast burritos. They are served before 11:30Am. Also enjoy running into the late night stoners and drunks trying to get food before they walk home. A little bit pricey but definitely give some props for it's quirkiness. Seems to be always crowded which is a good sign. I'm not a big fan of their burgers. It's pretty greasy...but then again...it's a burger. They have good breakfast burritos. Not the best as they claim in my opinion. But good enough where I can see people making this place their favorite. Btw...it's helpful to call your order in. My husband saw the sign for the best breakfast burritos in town as well as read the yelp reviews. He ordered the burritos with no salsa because I don't like spicy and neither do my toddlers. The burritos were so spicy that it was inedible. What the heck was on the grill before they cooked our burritos? Beside that fact, the burritos had no flavor and was mostly hash browns of which my husband had also requested easy potatoes. Very tiny parking lot and if you're ordering in the morning for the burritos, get ready for a bit of a line and wait after ordering. Troy's is a great alternative to corporate fast food. The breakfast burritos are big and very good. The tacos, while greasy are tasty. Try the chili dogs and the hamburgers are good. There were days I was coming here two time a day. No joke. A cheese burger+fries+onion rings+grilled cheese+coke+shakes for 1.5 meals wasn't too much for a hungry 8th grader kid. Troy's contributed for at least 1 inch of my height growth in my opinion. Well, my 15 years sound like a joke compared to the yelper down there who has been going to Troy's for 42 years. Here is why these are the best breakfast burritos in Orange County: the specific green chile salsa they use inside, the perfectly fried hashbrowns, the reasonable price, and completely made to order!! I have tried many places in OC and this is the best so far! I am originally from Colorado and miss our green chile like crazy. This place is pretty good. I've been back a few times and ordered onion rings, different burgers, zucchini, and pretty much every fatty unhealthy food you can think of. All of it is really good. I have been meaning to stop by Troys for breakfast because of they're claim to have the best breakfast burrito in town. Today, I was not disappointed. I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito, which comes with green salsa on the side and was impressed. I have had them in Orange and LA county, but Troys is one of the standouts. Why? Because the ingredients were hot and fresh and I got bacon in every bite all the way down to the last bite. Some other local joints either have all the bacon on top or at the end and overstuff with potatoes or cheese. Troys burrito is consistent to the last bite. Troys has the breakfast burrito sewn up. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. I give this place four stars for cleanliness, freshness of food, and a smiling host. May give five stars if lunch delivers. read more

It was ok prices are not upto date from yelp ,burger was ok but their steak burritos need a lot of work ,they're a good size but the steak could have had more flavor less dry oh and they use beans from a can that don't cut it at all overall for the prices this place could invest in better ingredients. read more

Potatoes, cheese, eggs, meat... add in their green salsa and you have one excellent breakfast burrito! Best Breakfast Burritos??? They are just decent. I had better. When I went on Sunday before 9am, they were busy, but not too busy to wait for 15 minutes to get our food. I probably won't come back just because it's out of of way. My burrito didn't have enough bacon or sausage, but it tasted clean. Meaning, they clean their grill often. No blue parking space though. That was a little weird, but whatever. I will just jaywalk next time and hope to make it to the other side and not be more handicap. read more
