Beware! They are a SCAM!! Tony came to do a second option on a possible leak on my hvac unit. Charged $352.26 to find a non existent leak with a sad little machine. Wrote and charged for a pound of refrigent and nitrogen that was never used! Gave me an estimate for over $16k for a whole new unit. Told me he found the leak in the system inside the attic and that I need to replace the WHOLE UNIT!! Thief and a scam! Told me I'm not in warranty with the parts. LIAR! Turns out I don't have any leaks and still under warranty until 2031 for parts! They should not be allowed to do any business and scam and rob people of their money and time! read more

After having a terrible experience with another company that was assigned by my home warranty company, I decided to reach out to True Home. My heating system was not working appropriately, showing that it was on via the thermostats but no air was coming out of the vents. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After calling True Home my technician Adrian came within two days. This was great being that I had no heat in the winter months.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Adrian completed the diagnostic and explained the issue to me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The issue was completely different than what was reported by the previous company. Due to the initial still being under warranty the part needed to be ordered which True Home did and Adrian returned to my home within 2 days with the new gas valve. After installation Adrian tested the unit several times to make sure the problem was fixed. He also informed me the previous company left my unit with loose seals and screws. Had service done today by emmanuel. He was professional, friendly and efficient. Had a rattling noise in my AC duct turns out it was a loose blower motor shaft. He explained what was wrong, explained what he did and was in and out within 30 minutes. There was a bit of a mix up with the initial call but he explained everything very clearly and was extremely apologetic. deducted one star just for the method of communication leading up to visit- had to call in to dispatch a couple times to get a status update as I hadn't heard anything . My only recommendation would be if there was a way to notify (text/ call) on any change to ETA to give customers a heads up so that way they can plan their day accordingly . Our house has 4 zones of heating/cooling and one of the zones never got cool. 1st time - Jose came out and claimed that the issue was if other zones were on auto vs cool, then the cooling would not work. Didn't even bother to open up and inspect the outdoor unit! $90 service charge. Of course I tested afterward only having cooling on in the one zone and the room temp never came down. 2nd time - different tech came out, Jake actually opened up and looked at the outdoor unit, noted signs of icing which was indicative of a leak. No service charge since Jose said "if things still didn't work it would go towards a repair" he let me know I needed to have the company come back out to do leak testing. 3rd time - scheduled them to come and investigate and repair the leak. Got Jose again. He replaced some parts on the outdoor unit and added refrigerant. Cost was $1200!!! Jose claimed that it would take a little more time for the rooms to cool down in this zone "because the motor was too small" but that the temperatures should eventually drop. He said the main issue on this side of the house is that the "motor is too small" The day after, we are STILL not getting cooling in this zone of the house anywhere close to the set temperature. At 845AM I set the cooling temperature of the zone to 68F while the room temp measured 74F. An hour later, it's 75F. 4 hours later it is 76F. Pictures attached. No other zones of the house were turned on for this experiment. Please for the love of god do not hire these people. They do not know what they are doing. I believe this company was the one used to do the initial HVAC installation when the house was being built which is why we reached out in the first place. STAY AWAY! read more

I can't understand the good reviews this company is getting. I've been using them for a couple of years without problems but of course it was just for maintenance and had no issues with my system. This year the vent cover on my AC duct was making a rattling sound and needed to be replaced. they quoted me $400 to replace one vent cover. it takes 5-6 minutes to take it off and screw in the replacement. the vent cover is approximately $30-40. when I questioned the price they gave me all kinds of lame excuses. I got someone else to do the job and it took him about 10 mins and including the price of the part it cost me $60. worst of it is that i have tried to talk to the manager about this for the past month and have made multiple calls and have left my number but he never calls back. This is a sign that the company does not care about the customers. would not recommend the company. read more

I told him I was going to follow because if he does a good job and the prices are fair I would give him a good recommendation in our email. So he starts outside showing me numbers the system is running saying it's running low keep in mind our system is running good with no problems at all. Now he goes up in the attic I can really see what he's doing and then I hear him jumping up and down a few times is this how you check a system, or is it to loosen or break parts. We found this place on Yelp. Jose came for maintenance and replaced the contactor and two weeks later the contactor stopped working. He came back and fixed it, but less then two months later the contactor stopped working again. It was so hot and we were desperate, so we tried to call multiple times and texted them but never heard anything. After multiple attempts to reach them with no success we had to call another company which they ended up fixing the issue the first time. It ended up being the wrong contactor which True Home AC put in. I was so angry to hear that and called them to return the contactor and get my money back. The person I spoke with then scheduled an appointment with a window of 3:00 to 5:00 pm. I waited until 5:00 pm on the day of service and called the number on the confirmation of the meeting. Their number forwarded me to an answering service, who said everything looked good. He was also dumbfounded, as there were no notes in his system. Our air conditioners quit working during the record heat weather. We called a few Heating&Air conditioning companies and True Home had the earliest availability. Emmanuel was the technician, very professional and courteous. He called us 20 minutes before arrival and found the problem very quickly, unfortunately the problem is electrical problem not air conditioner itself. He suggested us to contact the builder(Toll Brothers) or get an electrician. He also took time to educate us on how to take care of air conditioner to prolong its life span. This is the servicing company for me for my thermostats thermostats that are now out of warranty out of warranty with the installation company. The Honeywell home thermostats had a 5 year parts warranty. This company wants to charge a $90 servicing fee. That's outrageous the thermostat only costs $100. read more

I purchased my home about 8 months ago, and never had issues with my thermostat until recently. So I called my builder and they sent out True Air...the 1st tech came out this past Thursday morning, and that night things became worse..my heater would not turn on, and it was working prior to him coming, my thermostat also stopped working, again. So my builder sent them out again the next day (Friday)...this time Sergio came, and had my heater working within minutes. He was super friendly, made me feel comfortable and explained things so I understood what was happening. But again, Friday night my heater stopped working, and my thermostat went nuts saying the power was not connected etc. So I called them again...at 8:30am Saturday (on a holiday weekend) and Randy was on top of it. She sent WARREN out, and he was there within an hour and a half (he drove from farrrr away, and I appreciate that SO much). He was really friendly, like Sergio, and very confident that he could fix whatever it was that was wrong...that put me at ease..because after 2 failed attempts, I was getting annoyed and frustrated...and I think Warren could sense it. He spent about 2 hours at my home, running tests, and doing his thing. He figured out the problem and explained it to me in detail. He was simply outstanding. He (like Sergio) made great conversation with me while they worked, and that is something I appreciate in a service provider...as a woman, I get nervous to have men in my home when my spouse is at work...you never know who could be in your home, but these guys really put me at ease and made me feel comfortable, they even interacted with my kids, which was awesome. I wish Warren had come out the 1st time..I think everything would've been handled the right way, had he been the 1st to come check things out. He truly knows his stuff. I also must acknowledge Sergio, he was fantastic as well. If I ever have another issue, I'll definitely be requesting WARREN 1st...and I plan on calling True Home and requesting him do my routine service every 6 months (which I had no idea I even needed to do, until he told me...so again, THANK YOU!!)
