I am addicted. Something about the sensory deprivation has improved my relationship with myself and ameliorated a number of minor health problems. I am a long term sufferer of insomnia, and after the session I was able to fall asleep without any sleep meds for the first time in many years. The staff are extremely friendly, which really supports the experience. The business could improve by altering its pricing plan a bit. I pay 99 dollars per month for two floats a month. I believe that they should offer some sort of loyalty program such as buy 10 floats and get one free. It would also be helpful if they had an unlimited float option. The experience was unique and relaxing but it was myself not letting me stay still and relax. I would have signed up for the monthly membership but I think personally that $65 a month is a little steep for a non contact form of therapy. True Rest Float Spa is a great place to go for many different issues. Floating is very relaxing after floating you relieve yourself of stress, anxiety, allergies. If you have pain it will relieve it or it can take it away. There are to many things it will help you with, to many for me to type. The staff is always very helpful, and the spa is sparkling clean. Definitely a must try. First time floater and i must say it works. One of the best relaxing experiences ive had. Started with the receptionist Brandi, she was awesome. Very polite and professional. She went through the relaxation room and then the pods. And the short video they showed us helped with what to expect. Brandi was thorough with the details prior to using the pod. My priorities were my ears and eyes. The epsom salt hurts as hell when it goes to your eyes and broke my calm state. Stay calm and dont move. Manager lurks around with affected sympathy to care, but feels like really she just wants to process as many customers in and out as possible, her true service ability, which should be a prerequisite for the position, is missing. LOVE. My first float was amazing, the staff was friendly, and the place was clean. I didn't get to try out the oxygen but I can't wait to go back next month and do it all over again! The video we watch is very informative and better prepared me. Like most, it was hard keeping a clear head, I finally started to relax 10 minutes before the the music came back on. They turn the music off after a while but I would have enjoyed it if it was on the entire time. Regardless, great experience. I'm recommending this place to all my friends. I got a gift card to try this place out (I guess it's really new to the area) and was pretty excited. A lot of people are skeptical of holistic healing, however I work at an acupuncture clinic and have learned to keep an open mind. So I am going to suggest that to everyone right now: the power of thought is stronger than you think, and if you go in with negativity you might not get the full healing benefit. The facility is very nice and clean and relaxing. You have to make an appointment. Ladies, you can't float if you are on your period. So here's what happens: you go in, fill out basic information and consent forms, watch a brief video that explains the float process and they give you a tour of the place. Then they leave you in the room (one room has one float pod) and you take off your clothes and shower. Then you get in the pod and lay on your back in the salt water for an hour. There is no tension or struggle to hold yourself afloat because the water is so saturated with Epsom salt. It's very relaxing. They will play music when your time is over and you get out and shower off again (the shower is also in the room) and get redressed. You can help yourself to this cute little lotion station they have outside the room which also has blow driers for wet hair. Then they encourage you to relax (since some people will feel weak or dizzy after leaving the pod) in their relaxation room that has tea, water and an oxygen bar (for an additional charge). Overall is was a nice experience, however it is kind of pricey. I also got a little bored in the pod (like the video said I would) but I just had to focus on clearing my mind. I felt refreshed and relaxed when I left and also slept GREAT for like 2-3 days after. Side note: DON'T MOVE AROUND IN THE POD, JUST LAY STILL. I started to move around (cause I got bored) and got the salt water in my mouth and eyes and IT BURNED AND TASTED SO BAD OMG. (but they keep little squirt bottles in the pod for you if this happens) I would also suggest asking them to play the relaxing music the whole time, instead of just the last five minutes (which is an option they provide). I think that about covers it, it was an interesting experience over all and I'm glad I got to try it. I really have to give props to the team for doing what they could given the circumstances. The gym next door just has to go. I've never had an issue before but this morning they were blaring their music and I could hear every tune, as well as the crashing of weights. In the past I haven't noticed it or haven't heard it as clearly but today it was non stop through the entirety of the float. It was still physically relaxing but not able to get the mental check out I usually do floating here. I only took away one star because after expressing my disappointment to the staff she covered the cost of the float for me, which to me ensured that I will absolutely be back, I just need to be more cognoscente of the hours of the adjacent business, which seems silly to me. I may have opted to continue floating at a different location, as I have done once before but what keeps me coming back here is the customer service. read more

Love float tanks and love that I don't have to drive an hour away to use one anymore. The facility is great nice and clean, everyone who works there is friendly. The only reason this isn't a 5 star is I prefer the tall tanks that you get submerged up to your neck, but I still enjoy the lay on your back ones non the less. Ugh. They messed up. I love to float! It should be quiet and relaxing. It was loud. They said the music, was from next door. Fleetwwod Mac, Roxanne, not bad music but not for floating. They also play their music for the first 10 minutes, maybe so you don't hear the other noises. ... Sounds like things being dropped and banged agaist the walll. Their only explanation was Mary's next door. I was able to get relaxed twice then startled with these different sound. Reception. Person was not friendly or helpful. We were told to be there an jour early then admonished foe being early. Lokk for a nicer place to float and you will love it! read more

Tried this for the first time with a Groupon coupon I got as a gift. Something new to try but not worth paying the money to do it. Maybe I just didn't have the best experience but it really wasn't that great. Maybe if they had some relaxing music playing the whole time but your just sitting in a dark room in silence. Plus the water wasn't even warm it was more cold than warm. Kept getting salt water in my eyes and not really relaxing tbh. Not the worth the money. Then I go to check out and get offered a membership to where I can put the Groupon coupon towards it so I say yes and before I sign to confirm everything i read on the contract that it says if you ever want to cancel your membership you will still get charged the next month before it cancels. I hate contracts like that because it's always a hassle to cancel so instead I told them forget the membership and I didn't do it. A month later they are trying to charge me for a membership I never completely signed up for so I call this location talking to some girl named Sarah that was being super rude and instead of her just helping me cancel something I never signed up for in the first place she starts trying to lecture me for trying to cancel on the first month and starts saying how I'm "working the system". The actual "float" was okay but after I used the oxygen service they had available which the girl that gave us the tour said on many occasions was free to use with a float and $10 if you were just a walk in with no float. I decided to try it after my float and was only on it 2 min before I had to leave and upon checking out the cashier told me I had to pay $10 because it was not included sense I used a groupon. This was never stated and felt like a bait and switch. The manager ended up voiding it but it took a nice experience and ended it uneasy. We were also told we could bring our own music and then once we got there was told you "have" to do your first float in silence because they think you'll get a better experience. This was very odd to me and it did not make it a better experience. I prefer music or guided meditation and as the customer you should be able to decide which way you prefer to float... especially the first time. read more

Worst customer service! My friend made a group reservation for us for 7:00pm. She received a voicemail at 2:00pm the day of saying that they forgot to tell us that we needed to arrive 30 mins early. She promptly called back and advised that we could not make it by 6:30. They sounded accommodating and said we could come at 640. My two friends arrived at 630 and I arrived at 641pm. There was no one in the lobby so I waited a few mins then knocked on the door that leads to the back. No one answered so I called and still no one answered. About 5 mins later Theresa came out and said that I was too late and couldn't float. I tried to explain to her that I literally walked in as she was closing the door and had been waiting out there. I also explained that they called last min to tell us to come early. She said she called me and sent me an email which is impossible because she didn't have any of my information. I sent an email to Groupon to make them aware of the issue. I will never visit this business again. read more
