I purchased this session for my daughter and I on Groupon.. Worth it! This experience was one of a kind I must say.. We were greeted by the friendly staff which was nice. They are very welcoming. We arrived early, I must say which is rare for me.. Im always on my time.. They asked if we wanted to wait in the Oasis Lounge to relax being that I was early.. and have some Orange Blossom tea, I was down. Already feeling this place. Excited to get started.. What to expect: A short 5-6 min intro to the founder and benefits to this session and what will take place.. Must say started to get anxiety but my daughter talked me through it. Honestly I was doing the most, maybe. Video is over . The courteous staff guides you through the facility. So your comfortable with the facility. You go to a spa room where your briefed on ear plugs, a petroleum rub for cuts or scrapes, asked to shower, the facility provides shampoo, conditioner and a shower gel, as well as a very thick , lovely , white towel Bring a wash towel if you'd like I did. Body lotions, blow dryers are on site too. You have 5 MINUTES to get showered before your session starts.. You make it work.. . Now it gets real.. You have a 5 minute relaxing intro music to get you relaxed.. In your pod you have a floatation neck pillow that I really liked try it. I liked positioning my arms up above my head, seemed to relieve neck pressure and relax better. Arms felt heavier to my sides. You have your choice of color in your pod as well to accommodate your mood. RELAX now let science do them.. I really did try to force my arms down to see if I could.. lol.. Staring at the Pod for so long or not so long I eventually drifted off to sleep unaware. I was SO relaxed ,you know when your arms or legs twitch.... yup happened 3 X. Now I'm up.. Thinking ... How cool is this.. ! Most relaxing, body experience EVER. You feel SO FLIPPIN GOOD! Like the best treat rest EVER, EVER. Enjoy your hour. Perhaps my husbands experience was an anomaly - but he was not able to relax at all... well - that's not entirely true... the moment he would relax and close his eyes, the clanging/banging of the weight machines from the fitness center next door would come through the walls. When we let the gal know before we left, while a halfhearted 'im sorry' was thrown out, it came hand in hand with a suggestion to book again for a later appointment time. Really? To us that said - "I know your first experience sucked - but hey, come back & spend more money... it *might* be better next time." You're kidding, right? I've enjoyed my floats at the Roseville location and was looking forward to my session tonight, but I have a sore throat. I called to cancel and she waived the $25 late fee. I'm concerned now with COVID. What if next time I feel this way and don't want to expose anyone to what I may or may not have: will I be charged a $25 late fee? I feel un-easy about the 1 time pass cause of COVID. My complaint is there should be leniency until the pandemic has waned for late cancelations. I'll think twice now before booking my next appointment. I'm sadly disappointed in the spa today, so I've decided to voice my view on this policy. read more

As a mom to an energetic toddler, I've been crazy tired lately and was researching ways to help combat it. I came across an article on float therapy in Sports Illustrated and after watching youtube videos about it, I thought i'd give it a try. I. LOVED. IT! You float for 45 minutes and prep for 10 before and 5 after but the 45 minutes felt like I'd been at rest or meditating for at least an hour. The days following my session, I felt energized and ready to tackle anything. The staff at TR were awesome and friendly and the spa itself is beautiful and very clean. I've been here twice, and I'm glad I didn't write a review after my first time. As some people said, this ship was not running smooth when they first opened. The big thing that I think everyone was frustrated about was the fact that only one person was doing everything. I felt rushed getting in my pod, and I wasn't even in before the music ended! So I missed a large part of my float :( HOWEVER after going somewhere else I felt that the facilities they provide are so top notch I wanted to give it another try. I'm really glad I did, because they listened to their customers. There was a towel in my room, which I didn't expect, and had brought my own towel again. Nice touch! They had two staffers, and I had plenty of time to shower before getting in. Coming back, I noted again how nice this place is. I can honestly understand why they only had one staff member before and charged for towels. They hadn't attracted any attention yet, and I'm sure the cost of opening was trying to be balanced with the needs of customers. Now that they've gotten some customers it's all going much better. When I went my second time I talked to some other girls after - they were also returning customers, so if people are coming back they're clearly doing something right! I love that this place feels like you're in a nice Zen spa, and that's a big part of why I love this place. The showers have beautiful stone tiling, the lighting is perfect, and the post-soak lounge with tea is great. I love floating, and I'm hoping to go back in a few months. I actually live in Modesto, but I found this experience to be very healing, and I was willing to drive up for it. Also, someone on here said that they give you credit if you write a review. This is true, and the person seemed to think people padded their reviews because of this. But seriously, why would anyone write a positive review if they weren't planning to go back and use the credit? If they truly didn't like it they wouldn't have any need for the discount you get (which is only $5 - it's not like they're offering a free float for a review). At the end of the day, the thing to know about this is it isn't for everyone. I've taken a friend with me for floating on two different occasions. One loved it and was excited to do it again. The other thought it was boring and would not do it again. I would suggest looking up some information, on your own, before going in for the best experience. I have been going to this location since they opened. It's only within the last year or so that an OrangeTheory went in next door. BOO. Not only was it loud with thumping music, but then an occasional voice trying to coach a class next door. I wanted complete silence and darkness-the entire point of a float. I complained and received a voucher for a free float. This location is going to have to figure out how to solve this issue or lose its business. read more

Handicapped BEWARE! As a first time floater I had a torn ligaments in my knee and foot. Having a brace that I could use in the water I read the website and it said it would help in healing and swelling. I called in advance to ask if they had handicapped access so I booked the "handicapped" room. The bars to help get out of the tub were way to far away to offer any assistance into or out of the tub. There was no way to shut the tub unless you were able to stand completely but there was nothing inside the tub to assist standing or even getting up to reach them. The tub becomes extremely slippery and very dangerous from the salt. I was hoping to come for stress relief and healing. Instead I left with bruises on my back and strained arms from trying to get out of the tub. The only thing handicapped about the room was a shower seat. I can not recommend this to anyone with an injury, handicapped or elderly. As a normally healthy adult I dont usually have to deal with ADA issues but this fell seriously short of what I believe would be appropriate. read more

I have gone to the float spa about 5 times now. The experience always leaves me feeling refreshed. Without a doubt, this is something everyone should experience at least once. You have to go with the right frame of mind though. Try to forget about what's going on outside the pod. The orientation video is very helpful for getting ready both mentally and for preparedness. I have been using meditation techniques while in the pod, and I think I actually fell asleep last time. Not sure if that's good or bad... As for their customer service, the staff are friendly and accommodating. I had a mix-up with payment that did take a long time to be resolved. I corresponded with Gizel, the owner and manager, and she was in the middle of opening two more locations, so it's understandable. Eventually, Gizel was able to get everything resolved to my satisfaction, so thank you, Gizel. read more

Very Friendly Staff, Clean Facility Made For A Great First Experience. A bit nervous like most people im sure but they explain everything thoroughly and make every step as relaxing as possible, the bathrooms and showers were very clean i would recommend bringing your own flip flops or sandals but they do provide some overall great place to try highly recommend it. I've been wanting to try this for a while and found a groupon this past week so I got to give it a shot! I had an hour massage beforehand so I was already going in a relaxed state. I'd like to say I had this amazing transcendental experience in this enveloping dark womblike environment but I honestly didn't make it five minutes. I woke up to the end of session music coming on. Needless to say I did get some true rest. Got to drink tea and use the flavored oxygen bar afterwards. It was a very nice, relaxing experience. I was given a certificate for a float for my birthday from my husband as he thought it would be good for me being that I experience a lot of tendon and muscle pain throughout my body. I had my float last evening. It was like floating on a cloud !!! I was totally pain free in the water and after my float !!!! I was so relaxed and amazed at the pain relief I experienced. Everyone should treat themselves to this magical, stress relieving experience for the ultimate iin relaxation . Also Camille was very nice and helpful in explaining everything about the spa. First time floater here. The facility is super clean, and the staff is very kind and helpful. It didn't take me long to find my relaxed space and drift into peace and a sound sleep. I was worried about feeling too enclosed and he gave me the option of prying open but suggested I keep closed to keep the warmth in. HE WAS RIGHT. I opened only temporarily, and felt the chill right away. Staying closed in is such a better option. The space is open enough that you do not feel claustrophobic, rather a quick open of the hatch just to get a breath of cool air will suffice and be enough to make you relax again. Do be a skeptic...try it. And also make sure your ear plugs fit tightly (don't worry, they are brand new and you're to keep). read more

Came here with a friend and had no idea what to expect, sure I goggled "floating" but was in awe of what MY experience would be like. Staff was professional and friendly, the relaxation video in the beginning is a little too long for me (20 mins) but it did the job. A bummer about the location of that relaxation video room is that it's located right outside of "freshen up" area where they provide blow dryers, cotton swabs, lotion etc. (you can hear the dryer while on that room) :( when you get into your private float pod room the floors are super slippery so be careful!! I had a few cuts on me so the Epsom salt ate that up and managed to get some in my eye but the pain went away lol, the float experience itself was awesome! I felt like I was weightless, out of sight out of mind completely in tune with myself. I felt energized but ready for a great nights sleep (which I had indeed). At the end I tried the oxygen bar, the hot tea provided and was given a little gift bag with lavender salt for home. Overall awesome experience I will do it again! read more

So I tried this for the first time and I really wanted to like it. I had heard good things so I treated myself to an 60 minute float. First off she had me sign a ton of wavers ( not uncommon) then she shows me around. She then took me to my pod and explained it. So she left me and I went to shower as she requested well super cold water. Chalked it up to not enough warm up time. Also it was super slipper on their dry floor so when I got out even worse. It wouldn't kill them to add a mat or two. So then I went to float and she said how I'd hear music well nothing. It would be far more relaxing to have some soft meditation music but no. Personally water does not make me sleepy so after about 40 I hopped out. Went to take a shower and again no hot water none whatsoever maybe about two seconds worth. To get the hot water you had to flip it a cold flip it back to hot you got about two seconds worth so you better be quick. Not a fan of cold showers either unless I've been at 90° pool weather maybe. When I got out and told her she just shook her head up and down and be like oh OK no that's too bad gosh we're sorry. Nothing. It's a person I wouldn't go back it's not worth even the $45 I paid in my opinion. Maybe other locations are different I don't know but this one in Roseville not worth the money. read more

They explained everything, gave a tour and allow you as much time needed to relax or actually, come back out of the deep relaxed state afterwards. If your looking for some relaxation this is the place. The attendant was very welcoming and full of information. First timers watch a short video, and tour. I wasn't sure how I would like this since I have a fear of water. Deep water. I was surprised how well I handled the floating and relaxing. I closed my pod and kept the inside light lite. I used the inflatable head rest to hold my head up cause I didn't want my ears in the water even though I was wearing ear plugs. The music played for about 10 mins then went off. It was me, myself and I to relax. I got out after 40 mins, showered and blow dried my hair. I noticed how my shoulder was pain free temporarily. It felt good. My fiancee was given a gift certificate for a free float that was given to him by a friend. He called to verify the certificate was valid and they assured him it was and to come on in. Upon arrival, he was given a tour and watched the video. He was there over 40 mins and then was told that his certificate would not be honored. Apparently a new owner took over and would not honor the certificate even though the name of the establishment, company address had stayed the same and the certificate did not have an expiration date. As a business, the customer service and way they went about this was not professional and this information should have been asked to the owner when the phone call initially came in. We live across town and the time spent along with the unprofessional, inefficient and unorganization of such establishment will be the reason we steer clear! read more

Passing through and stopped by for a float. I agree with other reviewer's on a couple things- very hard to get someone on the phone, so it's phone tag & hearing the gym next door. I came on a Saturday when it was pretty quiet and I called a couple NIGHTS PRIOR TO TRY TO BOOK. I was going to be in an area where there was no phone access so I wanted to ensure an apt. Someone called back and said there were openings so I want ahead but still was calling on my way there that Saturday just to be sure and again Voice Mail. And i don't live in the area and Google maps sent me to the wrong place in historic downtown so that sucked. Ice I physically typed the actual address and almost arrived at plaza Then they called me back. Told me that I have to wait an hour and a half (but show up in an hour). While I would have liked to go for the earlier appt without waiting which I saw online was available esp with the 90*+ heat outside with stuff in my car it was ok.grabbed a late lunch to kill time. The facility is new and clean. Cust service was great. Very thorough orientation which included an eight minute video and a tour of the facility. Before coming to this location I've floated at three different locations but the orientation was most helpful & informative at this location. Set up pretty much the same. One very important safety aspect is the intercom that is inside a pod in case of an emergency you can communicate with the front desk. At the other locations I've been to they don't have this which I find very shocking. When I arrived I was the only person floating so I was really surprised that I was not given a quiet room far away from the gym It's very hard for me to relax and took me a few tries to get used to it. But I do it for the magnesium benefits even if I can't completely relax read more

I had an awesome experience. I purchased a Groupon online since I heard about this new "float therapy" treatment and was intrigued. I've had severe back/hip/neck pain and it hinders my sleep severely. I've read reviews of people feeing more relaxed and sleeping better, so I really wanted to try it out. I also read reviews about some people getting sick so I purposely made the first morning appointment available and I came in on a (mostly) empty stomach (I drank some water beforehand). I didn't experience the "sickness" feeling so maybe my method worked? No idea, but if you're one who gets sick easily maybe try this out? Anyway, I came in early like they tell you to do on your first visit. I got a tour of the whole place-the place was more than I was actually expecting. I watched the video and eventually I was taken into my room. The lady told me what to do (earbuds, shower, get in-basically), so I did. I used the neck pillow because I was kind of nervous of falling asleep in the water, but actually the neck pillow helped get me into a more comfortable position. The whole float experience was awesome. I'm claustrophobic and I thought the pod would be too much for me, but I was actually fine in there. I didn't fall asleep, but I was still very relaxed the whole time. The music came on in the pod signifying the end, and it was time to get out & shower. Then I went into one of their other rooms to try out some nice lotions and blow dry my hair (everything is provided for you there). Finally, I went into one of their other rooms (idk the names of all these rooms lol) and drank some complimentary hot tea & decided to indulge in their oxygen bar-I wanted the FULL float spa experience. The oxygen bar was also new to me, not too much of a fan of it but I did choose a super basic scent. I would try the oxygen bar again and just choose a different scent next time.
