This is my go to place on campus because it's so close and the drinks are pretty solid. I used to always get the pineapple yogurt slush but recently they've been coming out super icy and crunchy like they haven't been blended long enough. Now I just get the tea with pineapple and lychee which is really good but it's just sooooo sweet. I even get 50% sweetness and it's still just way too sweet so sometimes I water it down. read more

So delicious! This location has been open since November but had their grand opening this past weekend. It's by the UT campus so there are a lot of students around, it's best to find street parking because the parking garage behind the store is a scam!! See my review for that.. Anyway, half of the shop is fuzz lab where you can make your own rug. Prices are steep.... There are probably 12 seats for boba patrons, The baristas are fast. I ordered and had my drink within 3 minutes! They also allowed me to bring my pup in. Which was nice because I had no other choice. I got the brown sugar boba with Oreo and milk foam, yum. I was really not a fan of this boba shop near UT. The boba we got (Taro Jasmine Milk Tea and Brown Sugar Milk Tea) were very watered down, making the taste quite bad. The Pineapple and Passionfruit green tea was much better and the chocolate bubble waffle was okay. The college student at the register did not acknowledge us which was a bit rude. Drinks came relatively quickly and the seating was quiet and clean. Overall I would not return. read more

Their fruit teas used to be really good, but they've been becoming more and more watered down lately. The boba quality has also started to become a bit more hit or miss. Tsaocaa is known for their pretty looking and delicious fruit drinks. Their milk foam or cheese foam is yummy but it tastes like buttercream or cake frosting, which is interesting. It's a nice add to the drink but not necessary. If you're craving traditional black milk tea, green milk tea, or oolong milk tea, this place won't hit the spot. Their milk tea tastes like it's watered down a lot. Pricing is on the high side. The shop is bright and cute with white sets of tables and chairs, great spot for hanging out. This new boba shop in West Campus has nice, homey vibes. It felt like a very Chinese place as the default language on the ordering screen is Chinese, which I think is odd, and I heard both the employees and customers speaking Mandarin around me. I had the peach milk tea, and it was good. I like how there's the option to substitute coconut milk at no extra charge. They had a lot of appealing fruit milk tea options. The boba is very expensive as I got a drink for $7, but the quality is good and tastes better to me than many of the other chain boba shops near campus. I found it strange that half the shop is taken up by a rug tufting business, but it looked like a fun activity. read more

Just 0, 50 or 100 percent--but they don't actually mean 0 percent. The strawberry bubbles in the other drink were disgusting too. Worse bubble tea in Austin. It's a fruit tea place that doesn't use fresh fruit. Instead they use a "syrup." They should not give a choice for 0 percent sugar when it's not really 0 percent sugar. It's really no better than using a powder. I returned the drink and got no refund or even an apology. The person who worked here was busy doing school work at her laptop and seemed annoyed that she had to get up to make our drinks. 0 stars for tea and 0 stars for service. read more

I've tried this place a twice due to being desperate for matcha. Don't be as desperate as I was, this place sucks. Everything is low quality and gross. Bread is extremely stale. Matcha is that low quality matcha taste. I asked for no boba and they still put boba and their boba is also disgusting. If you do delivery they don't care about your special requests (even if you buy them). Their waffles are also stale and not worth it. I can't believe I wasted my money on them again.
