Really fun concept. The prices and service was great and there was a reasonable decent selection. When we made special orders, the sushi came out quickly, it was fresh and very tasty. However, some of the sushi that was on the conveyor belt that had a sauce wasn't the best. It appeared as though over time it soaked into the rice and made the rice quite hard. All in all, I would go back but be a bit more selective on the rolls. read more

We love this place and have gone back several times. Conveniently located in the Yard of Vineyard closely by the Megaplex, perfect for date night! As you walk in, you're transported to a mini Tokyo. The decor is super fun. A friendly waiter will seat you. You'll find the converter belt loaded with various delicious options that you can take off through belt if it's not reserved (which is clearly marked). You also have the option to place an order for appetizers, sushi and dessert from the kiosk which is fun to go through! It's pay per plate, so you get tons of different options to try out! The sushi options are delicious. You have a mix of sweet and savory options. I love the rainbow roll, ponsu citrus roll and tsubame roll. Definitely get the aonori fries. So yum! The desserts are also super yummy. I love the tempura mango mochi. Yummy textures--crunchy and soft mochi with ice cream! The service was great for us, we did go in the middle of the week and so it was busy but we got seated quickly. The ingredients are great, the slices of fish were fresh and the spicy tuna was exceptionally flavorful. I want to go back in a few weeks to see if the team has learned how to make the sushi rolls better. A few of the rolls came apart while I was eating them because the rice was not properly packed. All the ingredients were delicious though so I am hopeful the roll construction will improve with time and practice. read more

Tip: call ahead and place your name on the waitlist. If they don't pick up the first time during operating hours, try again until someone picks up. I visited on their second day of opening. I called about ten minutes before my arrival and put my name on the waitlist. I received a text stating that there was an estimated wait time of 30 minutes. When I arrived, I checked in with the waitress and she seated us immediately. My first impression was that the decor and ambiance reminded me of Japan. The signs hanging from the ceiling represented popular stores that you'd see in Japan such as SEGA and Don Quijote. It was very nostalgic which I appreciated. The server greeted us and asked if we had been to a revolving sushi restaurant before. Since we have, he didn't explain the concept and told us that we could start grabbing plates. Each item comes on a different colored plate that indicates the price. You can see how much each plate costs on the napkin dispenser at the table. My friend and I each grabbed a few salmon nigiri plates and those tasted as expected. Nothing extraordinary to note. We ordered a few hot plates from the iPad on the table. These plates took about 15 minutes to arrive at our table via their bullet train system, which is a plate delivery system above the conveyer belt. We ordered the savory pancake, kaarage, and fries, which in my opinion, all fell flat. While waiting for more plates, I realized that there wasn't much variety coming out. I continued to see the same shrimp and salmon plates come around. Near the end of the meal, the waiter asked how the meal was and I mentioned that there were a few items we saw on the online menu that we didn't see come around on the conveyer belt. He mentioned that we could order these specific plates through his iPad, which would've been nice to know earlier, but as a new restaurant, there is a learning curve which I can understand. I heard him mention to the next table that they could order from the iPad so he was quick to ensure that they were taken care of. I think the star of the show was the cookie butter taiyaki. The batter was perfectly cooked and the cookie butter melted over the ice cream once we broke the taiyaki in half. I think this restaurant is worth a try if you haven't experienced a revolving sushi restaurant before. Would I come back? Unlikely since it's a far drive for me from Salt Lake, but if I did, it would be for the cookie butter taiyaki and ice cream. read more

Our group has been looking forward to eating here and we finally got the chance to go. This was such a fun casual environment with the constant train of dishes that come by your table. You can also order something custom via an iPad right from your table. It was easy to get the hang of their color coded dishes that correlate to price. I thought the prices were very reasonable. I heard about this place and that I try it. We came around 1pm. The sushi was warm and while having several nigiri and other sushi plates seems like the sushi has been sitting there for a while. The rice was hard and crumbled when you picked it up. I've been to revolving sushi restaurant outside of Utah. They usually have the revolving belt insulated cold. When we came in it was not insulated cold and room temperature. The service was great, the options could be letter but I will not be returning due to the quality of the sushi. I was on vacation visiting Utah, originally from Arizona, and all I can say is wow. I'm not sure how to start, but one thing I can say is I completely loved the food, the service, and the overall look of the place. I loved the signs and the designs on the wall, really built up the feeling of the enviornment for me. All of the food tasted really fresh, the preparation and style of the plates and the food were awesome, I highly recommended this place. What I also like is the pricing of the different plates, which allows you to eat with any type of allowance/budget that you want, and you can still eat good quality dishes. I already want to go back but since I'm not a local, it'll have to wait until I can get another vacation, but it's definitely worth it. 10/10 will go back and will recommend to anyone that travels to Orem or near the area if they are sushi eaters. read more

So excited to have one of these in Utah!!! Fun decor. The best thing about it is you can start eating basically as soon as you sit down. No waiting on food preparation. The one down side is it's weird that they don't give you plates to eat on. We tried about 10 different plates and all were good. It's not top notch fish but good for the price. We liked the crunchy roll, teriyaki roll, Vegas roll, and mango coconut roll as a sweet one for dessert. We'll be back! read more

The food is sooooo good! I definitely recommend if you like sushi. Also for the experience. The only down side is the wait time. The first time we waited like an hour and a half. The second time I reserved on yelp, and it was soooo much better and faster. We did have a 30 minute commute so I did it once we left our house. And we still waited like 10 minutes, once we arrived. Their wait area is not very big. There is always a lot of people waiting outside, since there is no room to sit inside. It's super cute inside as well. Looooove the conveyer belt. Words cannot describe the pleasure of first seeing an endless conveyor of brightly coloured and delicious looking sushi. What might be even better is watching the plates pile higher and higher. The sushi itself was delicious; with layers of flavor and texture. However, one dish wasn't very good; steer clear of the Eel Nigri. It had a decent texture but it tasted a bit too much fish taste and not enough eel sauce (however just a personal taste). At one point an order we made from the iPad never arrived. But I'm the end the waiter was super nice and attentive and as a whole the food was tasty and a great temperature. The tables' personal favorites were The Coconut Shrimp Mango, The Black Dragon, and The Sunset. Overall our dinner was awsome and we had a great night! read more

This is a nice place. I took a girl for our first date and we sat at the bar. It wasn't too loud preventing good conversation. The food was good, be careful with the bullet train because it kept delivering to the next spot to us, but it wasn't a big deal. My date and I got a majority of the pink plates (most expensive), a couple appetizers, and the drinks with a total around $50. Absolutely delicious! Right when we walked in there was already at least 7 types of sushi on the sushi treadmill and we were able to start eating immediately! Everything we ate tasted high quality and fresh, and we loved the portion sizes so you're able to try many different kinds of sushi. When you order from their menu the "bullet train" came within 5-10 minutes, and the food was warm and fresh. The Nikoman was warm and fluffy and the biscoff taiyaki was crisp on the outside and warm and melty on the inside. This place is a bit of a drive for me but totally worth it! The sushi is fresh and this place is budget friendly. We got the equivalent of 3 8-piece rolls, 2 nigiri, 2 drinks, and an appetizer for $35. At another sushi place you would be looking at around $50 if not more for that. Of course it also depends which price plates you get. This place is also just fun to go to. You can pull sushi off the conveyor belt or get a special order delivered to your table via train.
