First time here! We'd heard so much about this place and really wanted to try these desserts for ourselves. We came right around opening and there were already quite a few people, but thankfully no line. Everything was still available, so we got the strawberry, mango, and lemon desserts, plus a box of ice cream. We tried the lemon one there - and it was really good! The center is super runny, though, so be careful because it can get messy fast The strawberry was definitely my favorite - such an interesting combination with a really bright strawberry flavor. The mango was good too, but I probably should have gone with a different fruit. The ice cream was honestly a 5/10 for me. You can find similar, or even better, ice cream at a dollar store, so I'd skip that The strawberry lemonade, on the other hand, was SO good! Not too sweet, with a nice tart flavor. Definitely recommend it! The café itself was clean, cute, and welcoming, and the staff was friendly. Would I come back? Probably not. I think these desserts are more of a trendy experience that everyone should try at least once. I'm glad we did, and the quality here is definitely great - I just don't think I'm going to become a fan of this type of dessert.

My friend and I got into LA the night before a concert and had some extra time, so we knew we absolutely had to make a stop at Tu Cha. We've seen all the viral fruit pastries online, and were so excited to try them. When we got in, we were able to see all of the options on display and they had a big menu telling you exactly what was in each one. You order off of a kiosk, which makes it incredibly easy to order. Almost all of our pastries were ready before we had even left the kiosk, which was great! I went with the mango and the peach, both of which were fantastic! The shortbread cookie underneath both was delicious, the mango mousse and filling tasted so fresh and amazing. The peach had an Earl Grey cream and fresh peach chunks as well. Both were in the classic white chocolate shell. These are so cute, fun to eat, very refreshing, and not overly sweet. The shop itself is adorable, plenty of seating, great decor and the staff was super friendly and very nice! These fruit pastries have absolutely gone viral, and there's many shops that do them, but Tu Cha is hands-down, the best!
I've been eyeing Tu Cha for a long time and the viral fruit desserts looked too pretty to eat! But first, don't even bother getting this to go on a hot day with an ice bag (extra .91 cents). Eat it there or in the car because it WILL melt! Even so, my reaction for the mango filling was underwhelming. The filling was just mango mousse with a few pieces of mango inside. My friends and I liked the outer chocolate shell and that was about it. The size of the mango was probably even smaller than I expected and for the price point, it was only worth trying it once. Sadly the Bing Chillin Bites were also sold out too, but I most likely won't be coming back to the location just to get them!
For almost $30 small desserts, I was disappointed. The peach didn't have a lot of flavor and wouldn't recommend. Berry cube had old strawberries and some gray spots on the cube, but the flavor was fine. I liked the flavor combination of the berry cube!
Trenched through traffic with my fam to try this place out! It is nestled between large buildings on a busy street with enough parking (you may have to cross a street after finding a spot). What I loved: Dubai dream cake! Hands down worth the drive, it's the best dessert option they have. Creamy balanced flavors, well layered, and with a texture that is irresistibly fun to eat. I love the heart container. We bought almost all of every piece dessert except for two along with the ice cream bites. Needless to say, we were not impressed. Each pastry had the same lingering aftertaste which was odd, the fresh strawberry topping was old, the gelatin like texture did not complement the watery centers, and the outside chocolate shell had no flavor. Of course, if you like these details of texture, you may dig it! Just definitely not for me. The ice cream bites resemble a frozen yogurt like texture and although I appreciate the all natural fruit product, the flavors didn't quite come through. The space inside is small, clean, and cozy. We weren't really warmly welcomed but did receive a kind goodbye after we picked up our order and had tipped generously. The Togo boxes could use improvement as they were so flimsy and hard to store in the fridge. The carry out bag is SO nice though. We're happy to have supported the business but will not drive out there again. Try your luck, it is fun to explore!
I was excited to try the desserts here and didn't expect it to by super pricey. I got 3 cakes to try: mango, lemon, and strawberry, and the fruit ice cream. The presentation of the cakes do look nice however there was nothing special about the taste. It somewhat just tasted like mousse cake and it was underwhelming. The ice cream tasted a bit like plastic or wax. I would not get desserts from here due to the price and taste of the desserts. I would rather go elsewhere for cake/ice cream.
I was so dissatisfied with my visit. I got the mango and it literally fell apart. Had been to Altadena first and loved it, this doesn't compare. Tried 3- rasperry, mango and strawberry came to over $50. No it was not good. The mango fell apart and the middle ended up all down my shirt, it was not set. Worst $50 ever spent. I will not go back.
I got my man go and it tasted fantastic. The mouse was amazing and paired perfectly with the fresh mango chunks. The whole vibe of the store was calm and I loved the asthetic. The people were so nice but I didn't get to see Catherine but other then that everything was amazing. I think that it was a bit expensive because I spent $ 90 on 6 desserts.
If you're in Los Angeles, make a stop at Tucha. We tried their viral peach and mango cake, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. These trompe-l'œil pastries--French desserts designed to "deceive the eye" by looking like real fruit--are as impressive as they are delicious. Light, fresh, and perfectly balanced, with just the right touch of sweetness. We also had their matcha drink, which was just as good. A bit pricey, but worth the indulgence.
Incredibly expensive for the lack of proper technique. I think perhaps the wave of social media hype may have temporarily overwhelmed the team, or maybe the new hires weren't trained long enough to put out consistent work. They seemed kind of confused. My Man Go: 2/10. A trompe l'œil pastry designed to look like a mango, filled with fresh mango, mango mousse, and sitting atop a hazelnut praline cookie. For starters, the chocolate shell was soft and lacked the crispness of properly tempered chocolate. Either that, or it had started melting due to improper temperature regulation in the case. The fresh mango was overripe and had no texture; the mousse was similarly made of overripe mango and was room temperature. The praline was not made properly, and had zero structure. I don't really understand how all of these things can be true when it appears as though the pastries are sitting in a refrigerated case. What a waste of mango. Interior was standard, no decorations. TVs playing Tik Tok reviews. Tables were all dirty, probably because of the lack of structural integrity of the pastries.
We've been wanting to try this place because of how beautiful the cakes look. We stopped by here to try it. We got the mango and the raspberry one. Both were underwhelming. Taste was too creamy with no prominent flavor. The texture melted almost as soon as you get into it. Although very pretty, didn't love it and would not come back.
Boba and cake shop that went viral in LA. I happened to be nearby for dinner and realized I was close and my friend and I immediately dropped by. It was great that I coincidentally parked in their parking lot located about a block or so away. At first we were planning to get one cake each but realized it was super pricey. I ended up getting a drink and sharing the cake. The cake was good! Glad I was able to try it: not sure if it was worth $18 though... Their coffee was good but nothing particularly special. read more
Finally tried Tu Cha this past weekend while they were doing a collab with The Crème Shop! I was initially worried they would run out by 5pm on Friday, so I called beforehand and confirmed that they had stock. Parking is a little tough in the area - I found metered street parking but it was a bit far. They do have a free parking lot but I must have missed it. You can order at the kiosks or with the staff. There is a good amount of seating as well as free wifi for those studying there. The staff member who helped me was nice. I ordered the peach and citron and got 2 full sized serums. I got my items to-go and was in and out of the store in 5 minutes. The pastries are cute but definitely pricey and small - 2 cakes costed close to $30. I didn't love the taste of the peach one, which had a white chocolate shell, mousse, and peach jam. The taste didn't feel super cohesive, and I wasn't sure what I was eating. The citron was much better but unfortunately it didn't last the drive home and cracked, so all the filling dripped out. The sauce tasted like passion fruit but wasn't too tart and not too sweet. Overall, desserts are aesthetic but given the price and size, I think it's hard to justify a return visit. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the cute sanrio collab items. read more
This seems to be popular trend. When you walk in you are greeted with a beautiful display case, aesthetically pleasing. All the seats were taken but you walk right up and put your order in using the kiosk. I will say these desserts are way more hyped up than what they really are. Yes they are about $14 each but if you try it one time at least you say you tried it. Please don't get these desserts thinking that they are some type of a cake pastry. This is not a cake Once you get past the hard shell it's more of a mousse consistency. And a lot of the flavors don't go well together. I ended up getting the peach and the strawberry. The strawberry had pistachio in it. And the peach had another flavor inside that I could not really put my finger on. I could be the only one, but these aren't worth the hype. read more

Dessert wise I've had some hits and misses here. Starting with the hits: the lemon. It has a cheesecake component and it's not overpowering which I love. I would happily get this any day of the week. Misses: pumpkin - I don't have anything nice to say about this one and I normally LOVE all things pumpkin and fall flavored. The peach was alright for me. I really enjoyed the earl grey cream component, it was absolutely scrumptious. I however didn't love the frozen peach part, it was so watery. The coconut iced latte is incredible though just slightly too sweet for me. It's great with boba as well. read more
The wait isn't bad. Both times we've gone it's like walk in and out. I'm obsessed with the mango. My partner loves the raspberry. It's pricy but I recommend it. We would pass on the lemonade. I thought this place would be all hype but the favors are there read more
Went back to Tu Cha because I was craving the mango one but saw that they brought out a new one, the pumpkin one called "Oh My Gourd" . Also got the berry one again. My new fave is now the "oh my gourd" !! I absolutely loved it. When I bit into it, it was perfection. From the shell to the mousse. Everything. The mango has become my least fave, the inside is runny and too tangy for my liking. I crave their desserts often, & will keep coming back!!! Also, customer service is always great! read more
Came on a Saturday night and they were sold out of a lot of their specialty fruit desserts. The line wasn't too bad, and there are two kiosks to order at. Parking is hard to find, but there is a sign at the front door that tells you where you can park for free. - triple berry: 7.8/10. They are quite underwhelming considering the hype around the desserts. They are very tasty, but not worth $15 in my opinion. I wish there was more of the filling in the middle. And the outside melts pretty quickly, so you don't get that satisfying crunch unless you eat it right away. - pumpkin: 8.5/10. Yummyy! Surprisngly liked this one more than the triple berry. This one had lots of different textures and flavors which I enjoyed. The pumpkin mousse was very light, but complemented the other flavors well. Still quite pricey though :,) read more

Honestly was so excited to try these. And just as nice as they look, they taste even better. Also got the brown sugar milk tea. Milk tea taste great as well, but these cakes are out of this world. I placed my order ahead just to grab and go. but looking for parking was the real challenge. literally drove around for 15 mins. so plan ahead or have a partner run in and grab the order as you circle the block. service was quick, I showed my receipt and they grabbed my drink & cakes. Devil Fruit this was my main reason for the trip. I went to the One Piece Cafe and had to finish off by eating the devil fruit. honestly exceeded my expectations. The mousse was light and tarty, but still had a vibrant taste. never had/heard of feuilletine before, but was wonderfully paired. My Man Go I love mango flavor, so had to try this. Taste like a mango cream puff, but instead of pastry, it was covered in a thin chocolate shell. loved the fresh mango. was like taking a spoon full of golden mango. I did not finish both since I wanted to share w/ my fiance, so I put them in the freezer for it to keep its shape. freezing it was the best thing. the mousse turned into somewhat of a sorbet texture(let it sit in the fridge for an hour to get a good texture). very enjoyable both ways. what I love about this place is that their mousse does not make me feel heavy after eating. cant wait to try the rest of their creations in the future. read more
We have been wanting to try this place that we found on tiktok, so our expectations were pretty high. We wanted the mango and peach, but unfortunately the peach was sold out when we came around 3pm on a Friday. You can order with their cashier or kiosk, which is what we used. The mango was delicious! It tastes like a really ripe mango fruit with a crunchy shell around it. The raspberry also had a crunchy shell, but the inside wasn't as spectacular until you reach the pistachio filling. We also bought their toasted genmaicha milk tea with boba at half sweetness. The toasty tea flavor was robust, but the boba was bland and on the harder side. The effort that is put into the desserts is really commendable, and service was friendly and quick. The restroom was clean and there were about five tables to sit at. Parking lot is on a grassy lot half a block away from the storefront (you can search for Tu Cha Free Parking on Maps). The walk to the store was infested by flies which isn't the business' fault, but the drive+surrounding area+parking played a factor in why we wouldn't come back. read more
My first visit to Tu Cha was in May this year to try their summer specials which consist of the "Just Peachy" and, more notably, the "Devil Fruit," inspired by One Piece. The surrounding area is not the nicest, but the inside of this dessert shop is modern, sleek, and a stark contrast to the urban graffiti and chain link fences outside. A handful of items such as the Berry 3 had sold out by 7pm on a Wednesday night, but luckily the Devil Fruit was still available. To be honest, the Devil Fruit was good, but probably the least exciting out of what we tried. A blackberry center with tangy blackcurrant mousse and a white chocolate shell. Still yummy, kinda yogurt-esque. The most interesting aspect about this dessert was its visual appeal. This was still an enjoyable dessert, but I just thought the other two I tried were better. The Just Peachy was my favorite. I was surprised by the strong Earl Grey flavor. I thought it was delicious and paired very well with the sweet outer shell. I do think the tea was overpowering any peach flavor. I didn't really get much peach and wish there was more peach filling. The My Man Go I think is one of their more popular desserts. I remember seeing a TikTok where Catherine said they started making more of it to meet demand. I definitely get it. The mango tastes very ripe, especially since we're coming into mango season. The hazelnut praline kinda took me by surprise, adding an almost savory element. I had to take a moment to process and warm up to it before deciding that I liked it. I am unsure of how others would perceive it... but I guess since it's a best seller people like it. I returned at the end of summer to give Tu Cha another try. This time, we got the Berry3, Citron, Camellia Milk Tea, and Four Seasons Oolong Milk Tea. I can see why the Berry3 was sold out the first time - it's very good. Visually, it's stunning and vibrant. The inside mousse is raspberry with a pistachio praline adding a savory element that I've gotten used to in Ms. Zhang's desserts. My new favorite, however, became the Citron. The passionfruit center surprised me and went well with the cheesy inside. I think Catherine Zhang is very creative and her desserts are interesting and delicious. I would definitely come back to try other creations and the boba. The parking situation makes me a bit apprehensive to return. There was a sign that said "free parking 2 minute walk away!" that was definitely illegible from a driver's perspective on the street, but even after I read it, I had no idea where the parking lot was. Tried their Bing Chilling Bites because of all the trending reels these days, so I was curious. It is overhyped and it wasn't that great. The chocolate layer is so thick and too sweet. Because the white chocolate layer is so sweet, you can't taste the actual flavor of the ice cream. Not worth the try. read more

I'm a victim of good marketing and viral spots, and I fall for it every time because it always looks so fun! I'm glad I tried this place, but there were a few things that disappointed me. I will say, the texture was better than I expected of a white chocolate coating with a mousse-like interior. They aren't too sweet (the best compliment ever) and they're fun to look at. However, when we went, they were sold out of the mango which was the only one I really wanted to try. Also, the parking is horrendous like in a dirt lot that's a 5 minute walk away. I also didn't expect the prices to be that high, but I understand it takes a lot of labor and materials to make (and it's LA). I think this is a place to try once; I don't regret it, but I will probably never crave a $10 peach-shaped dessert mousse again. read more

I have been seeing so many tik toks and Instagram posts about this viral dessert, and it didn't disappoint! The mango cake was so delicious. The outside is a thin crispy chocolate shell and the inside has chunks of mango and jelly/pudding. Each cake is ~$14. There's free parking at a lot 2 min away but also some street parking if you're lucky. There are a few tables to enjoy your sweet treats inside the store. read more

Beautiful beautiful desserts but IMO very overpriced and overhyped - we got the bing chilling fruit ice cream and the mango "cake" and the total came out to $40 including tax....yikes. I understand there's a lot of work that goes into making these desserts but they are so so small for the price. The bing chilling fruit ice cream was great - the texture of the chocolate and the ice cream together was wonderful. We waited 10-15 min before eating it and that was definitely a mistake towards the end - they started getting super goopy and runny. The mango cake thing was beautifully decorated but so so so runny and the textures were all over the place inside of it. I am glad we tried it but I wouldn't recommend it! I do give points for the insulated cooler bag they gave us though! read more
TuCha was founded by a group of Hong Kong natives who also partnered with Catherine Zhang, the renowned winner of Zumbo's Just Desserts Season 2. TuCha is all the buzz right now with the viral fruit pastries taking over social media. We were just lucky enough to be in town to check this out. But it was actually my girls that wanted to stop by here to check it out. Ha. They are totally my kids. We drove 1 hour from Redondo Beach to Downtown LA. Yikes! Parking was not fun and we drove around for like 10 minutes looking for metered street parking. We got lucky and snagged a parking spot directly across the street. Of course as we were walking in, they had a sign outside that said "Free Parking" and gives you the location down the street. Oh well. The space here is very minimalist and modern. They sell the beautiful fruit pastries and drinks. We got the Just Peachy, Citron and Berry3. At about $13-14.50 for each pastry, it's pricey!!! We were incredibly sad the Mango was sold out as that was our first choice. We ordered at the kiosk and the staff packs it up and calls our order when it's ready. There really wasn't much service as that was all they really did. Out of all the pastries we spent at a whopping $41 for 3 pastries, the only one that was worth the hour drive and money is the Citron! The passionfruit and lemon yuzu flavors really shined with the light cheesecake texture. We really wanted to like the other ones but were not fans at all. We all agreed. The Just Peachy and Berry3 had this mousse texture that was off, just did not like how it tasted or the feeling of it in our mouth. I also did not love the Earl Grey flavor in the peach. The jelly centers were not great either. Sorry but that's the honest truth. I think if the Peach and Berry had the same light cheesecake texture vs the mousse, it may be better. I kind of wished I ordered a drink because I noticed after we left that they had some unique matcha flavors and would have loved to try the Orange Americano. My daughter also mentioned TuCha is a competitor to Aurora which is another local bakery that offers similar desserts and all over social media too. If you visit TuCha, get the Citron. Totally worth it. I bet Mango is worth it too but we will never know. Ha. For now. The desserts are all beautifully designed and executed, just wish we loved the other flavors more. Especially at this price point. It's not cheap! Koreatown definitely needed a cute, decorative cake dessert concept, and Tu Cha fills that void. That said, the location leaves a lot to be desired. The outside has a strong piss smelling odor, parking is tough, and we ended up leaving our car in a plaza about a 10 minute walk away (the Lee Ga plaza). There were also soooo many flies in the shop when we visited. What we ordered: Mango Dessert: 8/10 Fresh, fun, and tasty overall. Not life-changing, but solid. One Piece "Devil Fruit" Dessert: 6/10 I was so excited for this one with all the social media hype! The craftsmanship was impressive and the marketing is genius, but it was messy to eat, especially when splitting with friends. The flavor leaned much more sour than expected. Essentially, the desserts are a fancy cream filling encased in a colored white chocolate shell. Creative and aesthetic, but the eating experience wasn't enjoyable for me. While I don't think I'd personally pay for these desserts again, I do think it's worth trying at least once just for the novelty and presentation! read more

The desserts here were absolutely incredible. I had low expectations coming in, but man they were definitely exceeded. My friends and I tried to gamut of different desserts. We got the peach, devil, fruit, mango raspberry, and Matcha. The Matcha mouse was by far my favorite. The Filo dough that was present at the bottom was incredible, Rich, perfectly sweet, and an amazing counterpoint of crunch to balance out the soft fluffy mousse. 5/5 The peach and raspberry were both amazing, but I was especially impressed by the artistry on the peach. The sheeting, the color, and then the delicious, gelatinous Center with bits of fresh fruit was just amazing. As far as flavor goes, the mango is my next favorite, the raspberry, and then the devil fruit last. Nonetheless, you can taste the fresh fruit flavor that is gone into each of these. They're not overly sweet, perfect for an Asian palate. Yes, all the desserts are expensive but there is a lot of effort and work that I appreciated when I ate these desserts. The only downside is that because of the popularity, seating could definitely be challenging. We got lucky because we were able to grab a table, but I could see how not having enough space could definitely be a challenge for patrons who want to eat their orders in the shop. A truly unique experience that exceeded expectations would definitely come here again. read more
I really enjoyed the desserts here, we had gotten the strawberry and Peach, we didn't know what to expect and it was beyond our expectations. The service was decently quick and inside was clean and spacious. We def liked the peach a bit more than the strawberry, for some reason it tasted more like raspberries than strawberry. Finally tried tucha after it's been trending and blowing up on my for you page and because of all the mind blowing reviews trying it was very underwhelming. They are all well made and crafted fruit cakes but I wouldn't order multiple and maybe just 1 of your favorite fruits since I felt they were very one dimensional. They all have similar textures, structures, and flavors however I can appreciate the more Asian inspired flavors and techniques in these cakes. The mango cake reminded me of a mango pudding from honestly any Chinese dim sum establishment. The fan favorite of the 3 was the berry cake since it had a complimenting flavor of pistachio with the strawberry so it wasn't as one dimensional. I loved the fresh mango filling inside the mango cake probably my favorite filling of the 3. The peach was very floral more than peachy which I didn't like since I don't prefer floral flavors. Is it worth 13-15 dollars a cake? I think if you really like cakes then maybe??? But personally I would not come back but would give it a try if you've never had it before. read more
I wanted to love this place especially after seeing the hype but was let down by the berry cube, devil fruit blackberry, and lemon desserts... each one tasted like it was made with gogurt and the texture was closer to a panna cotta and nothing like the cheesecake or mousse they described! I tried Aurora dessert too just to compare and thought Tu Cha came nowhere close in comparison! Tip: There's a free parking structure nearby with plenty of parking spots! read more

The berry petit gateu was my favorite because it wasn't too sweet and had a wonderful flavor profile that was so well balanced. I ordered the infamous mango dessert and boy was I disappointed. I don't know if I just got a bad batch but I love mangoes. They're very delicious and they're naturally sweet. I felt like it had a bitter filling in the middle. But let me tell you that little tree was the bomb. It was so good. It was complex. It had a very nutty hazelnut as well as a creamy kind of toffee flavor. The ice cream I feel was OK to me. I feel like they had the size correct with the little blackberry one it is bite-sized when you try to eat the banana or the strawberry sometimes they're too big and it's kind of falling all over the place. I was disappointed that I couldn't get more desserts. The parking is horrendous so good luck with that but like I say, give it a try and then you decide ....sidenote be prepared to pay a pretty penny, the desserts are definitely not cheap. read more

My daughter wanted to go to Tu Cha in Los Angeles to get dessert. The desserts were delicious, but the only downside was that it was located on busy Main Street and there was no parking. We had to double park, but it wasn't too bad since we arrived at 8:30 p.m. My daughter loved it! read more

Very very cool and beautiful but I can see why some people say that it is overhyped. It's trendy and viral and very instagrammable but not mind blowing nor worth the price tag. Absolutely agree with those that say the pistachio matcha cake is the best thing here. It was so good!!! And fun to eat. I shared with a couple friends and one who doesn't like sweets absolutely loved it and kept going back for more bites. I found the citron to be too tart. It's not bad tasting but too sour for me. If you like tart then you should enjoy it. The devil fruit was cool and yummy. The bing chillin bites were over $22 for a tiny little pint of baby ice cream filled fruit. Very tasty though. We only tried the citron in the shop and the rest I tried after an hour drive home (they sell ice packs if you need and they provide cold bags without charge so plan accordingly). Everything froze well and honestly I don't love how runny the inside is once cracked but after freezing wasn't so runny and that made them easier to eat and less messy. Overall glad I tried but would not get again (unless just getting the cake). read more

We decided we wanted to try quite a bit so we ordered: Bing Chilling, My Man Go, Dubai Pistachio, Berry3, and Devil Fruit.. all of this for $100. I will just state as an overall: yeah they're pretty, but let's talk about taste! Bing Chilling: their newest addition I think, and it's fruit-flavored ice cream covered in white chocolate. Honestly, not bad! The fruit flavor was lightly there and it was probably the best out of everything we ordered. Not sure about the pricing. My Man Go: Very gooey inside that was oozing out. I appreciated the ripe mango inside, but I was really confused about the hazelnut placed in the middle since it didn't really match the palette. My sister initially thought it was mango that had gone bad. Dubai Pistachio: I get the idea - I really do. But it felt like the matcha powder clogged our esophagus the moment it went into our mouths. It was also lukewarm so it just was not meshing properly. (We had the leftover a day later after it had been in the fridge, and this helped it taste better!) I think this one definitely has potential! Berry3: HmMMM the mousse texture + warm/room temp made it an interesting combination. We didn't enjoy this one. The flavor was also lacking for the most part. Devil Fruit: In a way, I liked how it matched the name. Quite devilish to be at that price point and not taste good. We all took a bite at the same time, and all of our faces went: "Eugh?? o _ O that is not a good taste". Tbf maybe we're just not used to this flavor, but it was a bit disappointing that we all did not like it at all. Again, super pretty and beautiful desserts. But the taste department was completely lacking and flawed. I am so sorry to write a negative review. We will not be coming back. ): But this is just our opinion! I saw this place going viral on TikTok and was eager to try it! Parking is very troublesome on a busy day. There is a sign in front of the store mentioning parking, but we couldn't find it. We arrived and was greeted immediately! There's a kiosk to order from and didn't wait long for our order. Berry Cake(8/10): I was a little disappointed when I opened the box, and saw the chocolate shell broke before I touched it. The flavor was pretty tart and the filling was nutty. The filling had pistachio and the taste reminded me of nutella. I enjoyed the cake overall, and is probably my favorite out of the three I tried. Yuzu Cake(5/10): I enjoyed the mousse very much! It was nice, airy, and melts in your mouth! When I tried the filling, however, it was very sour! It took me by surprise and I felt like it really overpowered the cake. Mango Cake(6/10): I thought this one was the messiest to eat out of all the cakes! Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the cake! The filling had chunks of mango and it seems like there was a little chocolate in the filling. Still a good cake, but just messy. Genmaicha Milk Tea(6/10): There was a slight hint of sugar even though I placed regular sweetness. I enjoyed the flavor of the toasted rice, but I wish there was a little more sugar in the drink. The jelly was really nice and chewy. The sweetness of the jelly helps bring out the taste of the drink so it was really nice. Overall, I feel like this place is overhyped but it is worth a try! The place is in ktown. Parking is street based but can find parking around. Do not be put out by the outside, the interior is nice. Service is quick too as some cakes are prepacked ready to go. We went before closing so were limited on the option but none the less got it. The prices for the cales may seem high but the aesthetic is what you are paying for. The cake was actually good. The berry one had an inside filling of cream and iwant to say pistachio but it was delicious. Will definitely go back to try other flavors. Meh. My daughter was hell bent to get dessert here. We spent an afternoon making it to downtown LA just to try this trendy place plastered all over insta. They're known for their fancy desserts. And we ordered 4 seperate ones. Dubai Matcha, citron, berry cube and the mango. Together with 4 boba and you're over $100. Was it sweet and nice looking? Definitely. Would I go back? Probably not. Boba teas and coffee were not good, but you pay a premium. The desserts were creative looking but lacked real fruit chunks and felt ultra processed. Great for insta I guess. read more

Expensive and overrated dessert shop in my opinion. I ordered a the Berry Petit Gateau and it was a small cube for $16!!! The pastry itself was average. It had what I believed to be a colored white chocolate shell, a bouncy mouse-like filling and a jammy center on top of a biscuit/crust. The flavor and texture were okay, but there was nothing special about it. I feel like you're paying for the artistry of the dessert as well as having something Instagram postable. The interior was neat, but grey and industrial-like. Not the most comforting and inviting vibe for a dessert shop. The parking was also confusing to locate, but apparently they do have free parking nearby. Overall, not the best experience here. In my opinion, it's not worth the hassle to struggle with parking in a busy area only to pay lots of money for a small and mid dessert. This place makes art! And you can eat the artwork... how cool is that?! We came for some refreshing drinks but we're delighted by hyper realistic cakes ! We got a lemon and a peach - they were so delicate that we almost couldn't eat them! But of course we did! And they were delicious, and a joy to eat... Wait was long because we came in on a Sunday afternoon when they were very busy! But service was good and staff was very friendly and dedicated! Great place for sweets! read more

Considering it's been a few months since the peak virality of the fruit-shaped pastries, do they still sell out fast? I'm only able to come at the end of the day at 7pm so I want to know what my selection will be, if there will even be anything left
I went during the week after dinner (around 8pm) and they had nearly all the flavors still in stock, I think only ran out of 1?
Do the desserts contain animal gelatin?
How long can the fruit desserts last if I'm taking a 3 hour flight back home? Is it not recommended? My daughter has been wanting to try.
It won't last since the inside contains ice cream and will melt by 3 hours time.
Where is the parking for this place? is it difficult to park? Will be traveling a long way want to be prepared!
