    Cute shopping area

We ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and burritos. They were very large in size, so the portion was good. The sandwiches were fresh but the potatoes in the burritos could have been cooked a little bit longer. The burrito did have a good flavor thanks to the salsa. Cute restaurant/shop that makes everything fresh to order.

So I ordered this burrito today. It had hashbrowns, beans, salsa, cheese, ham, and egg wrapped in a tortilla for $11 for some reason with all that stuff in it, it still had no flavor. Order at the counter, kind of cozy like your own trailer home.

I only got a cold brew with the suggested flavor combo of shortbread and brown sugar, but this place is such a cute calm atmosphere. They do breakfast and lunch and have all kinds of fun things to look at and purchase. What I loved most was the local feel. They have pictures of local dogs that they named their sandwiches after, they have books for purchase and one was about the wolves in Yellowstone and written by someone who at least frequents the area if not a local person. (complete assumption) There were plants and just a cozy place. When we go back to Yellowstone we will be stopping by for some food and I will update them, but they put coffee ice in the cold brew! What?! I have never had a place do that before. Love it. The service was great too. Very friendly.

Artist corner showing where profit goes to.

Great food. Good variety for everyone in our family. Service is excellent. The workers are friendly and helpful. The cafe provides a very welcoming vibe. Also utilizes their space by providing local artist space to sell their work of art.

I have nothing but great things to say about the Gardner market…read more I was hesitant to go there because everyone said it was so expensive but I found the experience delightful. I wish I had gone there earlier in my stay just for the ambience lol. There are many things to question about Gardner Montana ;)However, the Gardner market was not one of them. Everybody in there was so polite and friendly. I couldn't believe it. Every time I asked for something everybody was incredibly helpful and there were some really nice ladies that were just totally friendly. The store is stocked to the brim. It has everything, at my hotel they were saying oh you won't find sunscreen or cream there but you know what they had every possible sunscreen and cream available!!! I was able to go there toward my last day and get things that I really needed like water and some sleeping pills since I was in a hotel that was very noisy! I would highly recommend the Gardner market to anyone and just remember when you're on a vacation things are more expensive because people are trying to make money in a small town so don't hold that against them. I love that market and if I lived in Gardner, I would shop there no matter what.

They were able to seat several tables of 2, but we were a party of 3 and a baby so I guess that's difficult here. We decided to go elsewhere and would try to come back here another day. The host recommended we try to come before 530 cause they get really busy after that. We ended up coming the following day for a late lunch. It was a whole different experience and vibe. The (same) host seemed way more relaxed probably cause they were close to closing for their mid day break and it wasn't busy at all. I Our server was attentive and the food was great. We were able to get a chicken breast and French fries for my 1 year old baby (who has a bland and picky palate). This makes mom happy. I had the best salad with chicken. Fantastic! Husband had the bison pork sausage sandwich, he loved it. Mother in law had the Mac n cheese, she also enjoyed it. The wonderland beer was great, definitely recommend it especially since it's made specifically for the restaurant. If you're a part of more than 2 people it's probably best to go early in the day like we were told. I'd definitely eat here again if we come back to the area.

On our last day, tired of snacks from the grocery store for breakfast, we looked for a restaurant to have a real meal and found the Deli very close to our hotel. As I mentioned, subs at lunch were great and, since they are open for breakfast, we ate there. Not many tables inside but most of their business is takeout so no issues there. Breakfast offerings are limited but great. I had a bacon/egg/cheese croissant and fishing partner had the waffles. Both highly recommended. Other items offered included omelets which we did not try. If we were thinking correctly we would have grabbed a couple subs for lunch and regretted this oversight later in the day!

The food was ready in maybe 10 minutes max despite the large order size. There is not much paradox of choice going on here with just two protein options - turkey and pulled pork - and five or so sides including cheesy corn, collard greens, coleslaw, and baked beans. The turkey was great - moist, with some nice additions (apple maybe?). The pork was fine but a tiny bit dry. The cheesy corn was a tad oily but the rest of the sides were great, especially the collard greens. It's located in an outdoor area where there is an open-air bar and corn hole, so you can essentially be at the barbecue place and an outdoor bar at the same time. Overall, a few tiny tweaks could be made to the food but it was a very enjoyable experience and soul-comforting food.
