If you are into brunch, this is the spot for you. Delicious breakfast and lunch options and a coffee menu that will satisfy even the biggest coffee snobs. I've visited on a few occasions now with groups as small as 3 and as large as 8 -- the bigger the crowd, the cozzier your seating. The restaurant isn't really as big as it looks from outside, but they do have some tables they can put together to accommodate larger parties. We typically start with Avocado toast and/or the bacon apple lollipops. Can't go wrong with either. I pair that with a vanilla latte, but have also enjoyed the French press. Just depends on how long you want to wait for your coffee fix - they recommend you give the French press five minutes or so before pushing the plunger and pouring a cup. For the main meal, I cannot recommend the Big Easy breakfast bowl enough -- skillet potatoes and chorizo with two perfectly poached eggs in a creole hollandaise. It's everything you want for brunch. That said, the French toast and waffles are also excellent and the blueberry lemon pancakes are fluffy and filling. The hostesses sometimes seem really frazzled, but I have always had great luck with servers. They're friendly and efficient and make good recommendations if you're not sure what you want. Weekends are supper busy, but especially beware of the Sunday after-church crowd -- lines and wait times get very long. Recommend you call ahead and use the Yelp Waitlist feature. read more

I've only been there twice but I will be going back soon. I wasn't sure what to expect so I was impressed with the atmosphere, menu selections and the restaurant setup initially. Of course, there's plenty of parking in that area. The food was not only well presented but it was delicious and a good portion. I even enjoyed reading thru the menu selections. There were a nice selection of various tea drinks not usually found locally. Each time I've been with friends, we enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service!! My friend and I go to Turning Point at the Christiania Mall every Friday for brunch. It is amazing! Anna and her team are so very warm and friendly. They are accomodating and do anything to please their guests. The food today was beyond outstanding! I had the seasonal cauliflower, peach, chicken " pizza"..WOW! Good first visit on the March Sunday morning that we sprang forward. Everyone was yawning! But it was less busy than usual the staff said probably because people slept in. Staff was friendly. I had a salmon omelet with greens & English muffin. The omelet was fine, but lacked flavor. The greens were a sub for potatoes & it was just a few spring mix leaves & the English muffin was not hot or toasted which was weird. It was a light and airy English muffin, which tasted good, but it was more like a crumpet and like I said it was cold, which was strange. The best part was the bottomless coffee that came with a to go cup so I literally had an entire pot of coffee with a giant 20 ounce cup with a lid to take in my car for my 5 hour road trip. It's located in the mall area in Christiania Delaware and has a large parking lot. It's a nice looking place inside and it has cute signage. The best part is the bathroom with doors that say to occupied or in use...why can't all bathrooms do that so we don't have to look under doors? Go anywhere else but here. Service is awful, after 30 minutes we pulled who was obviously the manager aside to get our watered down drinks and coffee which was delivered cold. After another 10 minutes (40 total) our server finally appears out of the bathroom, ironically right in front of where we're sitting and we ask to order our food . Another 30 minutes go by and our food arrives .. cold. No one checks on us again, not the manager or server. My boyfriend attempts to eat and almost has to spit out the cold hard egg. We finally pull the server aside to ask for the check. She clearly sees we haven't touched our food, doesn't ask, and just brings us the check. I've been wanting to try this place since seeing it on my way to Main Event in Christiana earlier this year. I caught them right at closing and the food was decent. Staff was engaging and warm. I'm not sure if I liked this place.. I think the kitchen cannot handle the volume of a full dining room, but I'll try to describe my experience.. I added us onto the live waitlist via Yelp at about 10:10am. It said the wait was about 13-28mins and we were 15th in line. We arrive at the restaurant around 10:44, and at this point we were either 13th or 12th in line and I went to check in to make sure they knew we were here and waiting. We didn't get seated until around 11:15am. I assumed either they got really busy on our way there and took others before us, or the wait time was not at all accurate. When we sat down, we ordered and our waiter, Liam, told us that the kitchen was backed up and that he can bring us fruit and/or chips and salsa while we waited. My mom went with the fruit, but I worried that if the kitchen is backed up the quality of our food probably wouldn't be the best.. but I ordered the s'mores hot chocolate (which was my favorite part of the whole meal) while we waited about 20mins for the food.. Sometimes I hate being right.. I got the pancake flight - cinnamon rolls, berry chocolate, and the original. The original was good and kind of reminded me of corn bread in the sense of taste and gritty texture. But they were hard.. I have no idea how you can make pancakes hard.. obviously the chocolate chip and cinnamon roll pancakes were very sweet, but the strawberries on the chocolate chip pancakes tasted a little sour. I ordered potatoes on the side and they were good, but dry. My mom had a veggie omelette, potatoes, and English muffin and she was not impressed. She said the veggies in her omelette and in the potatoes weren't made fresh. They tasted like unseasoned veggies you get from the freezer aisle and throw into whatever mess you're making on the stove. You could obviously tell that the veggies (onions and peppers) in the potatoes were just thrown in for presentation purposes. They weren't brown as they usually are when you sauté them with the potatoes. Lastly, she said the English muffin was "just okay." The few things that kept my rating for this restaurant afloat were definitely the hot chocolate and Liam. He was amazing. I think I could visit again, but maybe during non-busy hours when it's easier to manage a kitchen and quality of food, and I would probably order something else. Nice new bfast and lunch spot in Christiana shopping center. If you go on a weekend be prepared for a wait. Lots of choices for coffees teas and latte. The pumpkin pie chai was to die for. The eggs Benedict was ok 7/10. I prefer actual Canadian bacon over ham lunch meat. Service was pretty good. They did say they were short staffed so patrons should be mindful and patient. Our was server was pleasant but seem to be in a hurry. The problem began when my use the salt shaker on her order and the top fell off pouring alot salt over her food! When we finally got hold of the server,( I had to flag down the hostess first tell her the problem who finally got a hold of the server) . Who then ask which item on the plate we would like to replace! My wife said just the sausage, but the entire plate had an extra extra amount of salt on each item! server never apologize never took responsibility for the salt shaker that evidently was broken or have been his handle never took the plate away. Brought two sausages on another plate leaving the plate with the extra salt on it sitting on our table expecting my wife to maneuver around the food to eat her meal. I flagged down the manager who apologized for the servers, lack of consideration, and the problem with the saltshaker! Great brunch spot in Delaware if you're around the area like us. Found this gem from yelp as I was searching for places to eat on a Sunday morning m, the day after the lights fest. There was plenty of parking but the wait was 45 minutes when we arrived at 11:40am. The hostess asked for our name and phone # and sends you a text with a yelp link for your live wait time and the # you are on line. If you wish to not wait and go somewhere else they have an option for you to let them know via text. I thought this was great so you don't have to wait around inside, outside or even near the restaurant. You can also join the waitlist from wherever you are before you get to the restaurant which is pretty awesome and smart. The hostesses were all nice and had smiles all day. They even have hot coffee for you that you ca pour yourself as you wait for a seat. We finally got called to table and the service was super fast. Our waiter Mark was amazing! He was super friendly and had great humor. I asked him to bring out my daughters food first since she was starving and it came right away! He was also super attentive and came to check on us several times. We ordered the kids scrambled eggs that came with potatoes and a toasted English muffin buttered up with a strawberry milk shake for an extra $1.50. My daughter loved everything about her meal especially the potatoes. My husband Krefeld the Wilbur skillet with sunny side eggs while I ordered the big easy Benedict and a s'mores hot chocolate. Both of us enjoyed our food and I highly recommend the s'mores hot chocolate. Our meals were plenty flavorful. On my way down 95 South and I decided to meet my cousin for breakfast in Delaware first. Where could we go with a few vegan options? Turning Point surfaced as an option. Although I was intrigued by trying the Just Egg breakfast with avocados, (how I love avocados), I decided to play it safe with pancakes. Not because one can't mess up pancakes, rather because I've enjoyed some really good ones and knew chances could be pretty good. When our food arrived, I was mesmerized by the size alone. Holy Moley, these pancakes were gigundus!!! I'm usually not a fan of my fruit on my pancakes/French toast/waffles, but I decided to try something different. I've always had a thing about my food "touching". So glad I took a walk on the wild side! The fresh bananas and strawberries were a sweet yet refreshing touch. The pancakes were perfectly cooked! Light, fluffy and sweet! How would I get them all down? Slowly! The Beyond Sausage was a good compliment as always. I will definitely return and give the other vegan options a go. Then they said it was another 30-40 min wait. What the heck? I get it though it's Covid and the capacity in the restaurant is smaller because of it. We finally were seated and ordered our food. I got the salted caramel mocha latte that was delicious. Alittle too sweet for me but I drank every last sip. By the time we sat down it was more lunch time so I ordered the chicken pesto panini and got the breakfast potatoes instead of chips/salsa. The manager did check in with me when I said that I had a nut allergy which I thought was very thoughtful and reassuring. My sandwich overall was okay. Chicken was dry. Didn't taste the pesto really and the potatoes were not crispy/kinda soggy. Alittle disappointing especially since we waited for so long! They have seasonal food options, coffee, breakfast, and brunch selections. From my experience this place is above average! The servers are nice, but the food can take a while. The prices are okay and affordable. The portions I'd say are perfect sized. Your options do feel a little limited, and some of the items aren't that special or unique. When we asked for forks, she incredulously asked if we didn't get any, came across accusatory as if I pocketed them. Always nice trying someplace new midweek mid day in Delaware because you know how we are about new places. I had the Key West Shrimp Omelette with greens instead of the potatoes. Absolutely fantastic! Shrimp were tender, and the added avocado, bacon, and Monterey Jack really set it off.... As in the other locations, the coffee is the big star of the show.
