Always loved TM, HOWEVER, last time picking up a pizza at the bar (Oct. 2024), 1. It was cold. 2. Box was TINY and light as a feather. Opened box at home, and the formerly beautiful bubbling generous pizza was now 3 small slices each/2 ppl. TALK ABOUT SHRINKAGE! Come on! You guys do a good business and there's no reason (Not even Bidenomics!) that calls for that kind of change. And folks, you get ALL OF THAT for the low low price of $18!! Went there the first time this past Saturday for early lunch. The receptionist got us a table quickly and she seated us quickly table quickly. Our server came over and got our drink order, gave us a few minutes to review menu and then came back quickly. We got our order in and the food arrived in a fairly reasonable time. The pizza and calamari was delicious and salad was very generous. The craft draft beer was nice and cold and I liked that they have different sizes plus our waiter let me try a couple samples I was curious to try. Our waiter often came by to check on us which was a good thing as we needed other things throughout our meal. All in all, a good dining experience. I did notice that the place got more packed when we left so suggest early lunch to avoid crowd. read more

Best Calzone I've had in years. I ordered the calzone with Italian sausage, cheese and mushrooms. The crust had a great pizza like crunch on the outside. On the inside, the crust had a wonderful chew that was enhanced by the gooey cheesy goodness, spicy bites of Italian sausage, nice marinara sauce that didn't overpower the other spices including flavors of the delicate mushrooms. It was ooooh, so delicious! One calzone will adequately serve two, or give you two full meals, so the price isn't bad considering it is for the price of two meals! When I reheated my calzone the following day, I took the time to put it in the oven (to preserve the nice crunch of the crust instead of a rubbery crust one gets from microwaving breads), for about 15 minutes on 350 F. Pizza is pretty good. Other items so far not so good. Service is always hit and Miss. Ambiance was good.

Good food. Pleasant and friendly, but measured, service. Susanne says "slow!" The cheese on her sandwich had hardened, suggesting it may have sat for a while under the heat lamp. My meatball "grinder" was good, except the house made mozzarella on top was pretty tasteless. We both liked our beer choices. The potato skin appetizer was quite good, as were the onion rings. We brought home the cilantro-lime Cole slaw to try with a later meal, so no info on that yet. Our helpful server checked with the kitchen to find out for us whether the cod for the fish & chips is fresh or frozen. Now she and we know it's frozen. And why haven't we been back here sooner? Long drive? What ain't from the north side of the Mtn. I totally forgot how good their fish and chips were. And the remoulade (aka tartar sauce in some circles) totally brought it home!!! Someone at this joint actually took time to sit down and think about why there are sooo many ways/condiments to dip your fish and chips into and...carve out the "one taste fits all" remedy...a true savory/tangy/tart/lemony remoulade. Brav-frigg'en-O!!!!! It's crack cocaine - trust me. Personally, I dip my fries in it - hell, I'd just about dip anything in it and eat it!! Go ahead and go there if you need to - :) The Greek salad was Also very good and worth nothing as were the wings - went with The hot (not too hot) however, the creator of this particular hot sauce also seems to be a large fan of pepper :(. Our family loves Turtle Mountain. We go at least twice or more a month. The servers are always upbeat and very accommodating. The food is always nice and hot. If you need to request something different from the menu they will do it. Not a huge beer drinker but we always find one we like. Owner Nico is always there to say hi. read more

Love the new place. The architecture is beautiful. When you walk in it's nice and open with plenty of seating. I went in on a Friday night so it was pretty busy. We were seated within 20 minutes of our arrival, which wasn't too bad. It took a while for our waitress to get our order. I'm always impressed with how they usually never write our order down and can memorize what everyone ordered. When we got our order after about 30-45 minutes. I realized then that she should have written it down haha. There were a few mistakes but she fixed it. All of our food came out at different times which was weird because I would feel rude if I started eating in front of my family, without them having their food too. The food was good and everyone was kind. It was a nice atmosphere and I'm sure I'll go back again. read more

The adage don't judge a book by its cover certainly applies here. A nondescript building belies a great interior. Low light inside, friendly staff and good ambiance. This is typical NM style read: a lot. The food comes in large portions. I had the calzone - it was huge. Big enough for 2 people. Blue corn fish tacos also hit the table. Not your traditional south of the border style, but tasty. Hot, but not enough to drown out the flavor. Did I mention they are a microbrewery too? We'll be back soon. read more

I liked the P and B Brown and the Molasses Porter was not a fan of the others offered a Cabolager, hefeweizen and two ales: the Triple Play ( the better of the two) and Hybrid which really tasted like its high alcoholic composition ) Fish was excellent chips not so great Side salad fresh and delicious read more

Easily the worst dining experience we have had in ages! Do not attempt this place. Took 1 hour from the time we were sat to get out appetizer. At which point we were notified they were out of what we ordered and brought us chips and queso from the local gas station I think. 1.5 hours for food. They only reason we received the food that quick was that we complained that it had been that long. Both orders were wrong and food was terrible. Explanations we were given ... "The kitchen get slow when we are empty." It appears that when I last went here, my wing order was mixed up with mild sauce, which explained my sad wing experience. The hot sauce with black pepper is still the same since last night, so that's good. I really enjoy their salads and beers here. The Matheson is a work of salad art, favoring quantity AND quality. The Schwarzbier is becoming a favorite of mine, and their dunkel is also pretty solid. I really like that they have such a strict Gluten removal process, as well as making sure a lot of their foods are GF. It makes dining with friends easy and enjoyable. One thing that seems a bit consistent for me, though, is wrong food/beer items being brought after ordering. That happened the last time with the wings that made me think they were no more. This time around, I asked for their 3 for $20 Crowler special (wow!) and requested two Schwarzbiers and a Dunkel. The first time, I was given three Dunkels. I requested I get the right order and I was then given two Dunkels and a Schwarzbier. I was about to ask again, but I figured they're all pretty good and left.
