***READ THIS*** Typical Friday leave the office and go get a drink to go watch the lakers game at what I thought was a "chill spot". Got there ordered some drinks and was enjoying our time. As we are discussing work and our business, before we can even finish our drinks the server JOSE comes to interrupt us and just ask "another one?" mid conversation. The man seemed busy so I guess to keep us satisfied he just wanted to make sure our drinks are filled at all times. Keep in mind I have been here for 2 hours at this point and apparently when (on my terms) I asked for another drink for my colleague and I, he says no you have to order food for me to give you a "fifth drink". Which is ridiculous because I was in this same establishment a few weeks earlier on a Saturday during the day watching college football and I know for a fact this same server had served me more than 5 drinks when I was there alone. The way Jose tried to explain his reasoning was terrible he sounded incompetent at that point I asked to speak with a manager. The manager on duty ANA NUNEZ came over to our table. Long story short she said I have been pouring your drinks and I can refuse service at any point. It didn't take long for her to realize that my colleague and I were not intoxicated, not even in the slightest. She started fumbling her words and couldn't give a valid point to what her intentions were. What I understood from it was my buddy and I were "camping" at the restaurant. Just having drinks and not ordering food so the server couldn't make as much money from that table on a Friday night. Never the less the server and manager approached it all in the wrong way let me tell you that. ***THIS IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING*** Ana Nunez seemed to have her mind set and said we're done being served. So I requested my check so I can just pay my bill and be on my way. 10 mins go by and the server comes by and says "your drinks have been taken care of". You have the audacity to make this situation into such an issue and once you realize I'm sober as a whistle you pay our bill? It was honestly comical at that point. I requested to pay the bill multiples times and also to speak with Ana again and the server Jose said she won't speak with me or give me the option to PAY MY OWN BILL! The manger wouldn't show her face near our table as we continued to watch the lakers game. We asked if we can have WATER and the server Jose refused to serve us that as well. It was a circus to say the least. You missed out on some loyal customers. For the record everyone DON'T waste your time here. It's pretty cut and dry on what a brewery is capable of offering, with that being said having a 3.5 stars prior to this review is already a red flag. Side note you should first mop the piss off the floor in the bathroom before someone slips rather then act this unprofessional to your customers. read more

We went here after dinner to try their beers. We got a table inside where there were a lot of tvs for watching sporting events. It was World Series playoff time so there was quite the buzz in the restaurant. I had a huckleberry Hard Seltzer which tasted great and highlighted the huckleberry flavor. It was light, refreshing, and slightly sweet. The others at our table stuck to the beer and enjoyed them. Our waiter was really on top of his game and came by the table multiple times to check on us. On Friday May 2nd my family and friends went to Tustin Brewing Company and had one of the worst experiences ever. I strongly discourage the community from giving them any money until major changes are made. The main trigger of all of this is the smoking on the patio. Some back story. I called and asked if dogs were allowed on the patio, was told yes they were. My husband called back while we at a kids baseball game to make a reservation for 9 people, including 3 kids, an elderly mother, and our dog on the patio. We arrived at the restaurant around 8pm. Yes, it was very busy, but we were sat pretty quickly. That's about where it being good ended. We placed our orders and things went downhill from there. While waiting for our drinks and food we noticed a table smoking cigarettes. We asked our server and he told us the 2 tables in the back are allowed to smoke because they are 20 feet from the door. I've never heard of this. But we were with our kids and tried to make the most of it. It just kept getting worse. More and more people kept joining the smokers, not just cigarettes, cigars, cloves, and vaping. We were very uncomfortable. I asked if we could move inside with our dog. We were told no. While this was happening the service was also horrible. Water got spilled and we had to get our own towels to clean it up. Our kids had water that never got refilled. The kids were starving as we kept waiting and waiting for our food. Finally, a little over an hour from waiting we had to move. Our party of 9, again 3 kids and also my friends elderly mother, moved our own tables and chair to try and get away from the overwhelming smoke. Our server and the bartender who was assisting him were very aware of how uncomfortable we were. We finally got our food, an hour and a half later. My son's food and one of our other friends' food were wrong. At that point my son was so hungry he just ate it. As we all quickly ate our food to get out of the horrible situation I saw an empty table for the boys to go sit at inside. It's extremely sad when your child says to you, "Finally, fresh air!" We were all so disgusted by the amount of smoke and disregard, I put down a card and paid for the whole table. We did not have the time or patience to split the bill. Our server brought back the check, and didn't even bring me an itemized receipt. Again, at that point we were all so upset and grossed out, we just wanted out of there. Us parents were trying to keep our cool in front of our kids. Later I called and asked to speak to the manager. I was told she was gone for the night. I spoke with the main lead. I told him about the situation. His response was, "Ya, it's a smoking patio." And that was about it. I asked him to have the manager call me the next day when she got in. Mind you, when we got home both my husband and I had headaches and our stomachs were upset from the amount of smoke we had to sit through. The next day I called and spoke with the manager Anna. She is the only positive thing about this whole experience. She felt horrible and was truly empathetic. She had no idea this was happening while we were there. I was told we were supposed to be told it was a smoking area. We clearly were not. Again, she was the only positive light in this situation. For a local restaurant to have a smoking patio is disgusting. To have tables out there with children is a pure disregard for public safety and health. This restaurant does not care about health or safety, it is clear with their ownership and employees. There was absolutely no mention or signs that smoking is allowed. I highly urge everyone to boycott this establishment until changes have been made. A year ago I watched my father pass away from lung disease. This restaurant is only adding to that disease and cause of death. read more

This place is in a nice area of Tustin. It looks super nice outside but once you walk in, it is clearly a bar and a good one too. My friend and I ordered a larger pepperoni and mushroom pizza and a pitcher of beer. They had TV's in all the right angles and i managed to watch the Kings game there. It was a very cool experience and our waitress was very nice and quick to see to our hunger. I look forward to another visit with a few more of the fellas next time. Parking can be quite a task there, and I'm afraid I can't help with suggestions as someone from out of town. read more

Came here for a quick pit stop before dinner in the area with some friends, and was happy to have fast service and great food, and not to mention a wide selection of beer! What surprised us the most out of this visit was their *GARLIC* *BREAD*. If there can only be one thing you takeaway from reading this review - it is to ORDER GARLIC BREAD. It actually comes out more like a pizza, cut into multiple slices/squares for easy sharing. It's so airy, fluff, and light. This used to be a family friendly place that we went to more than once a week, and was really good... but now it's more geared towards their everyday drinkers and smokers. those same people like to complain about kids running around or not sitting at their tables. this establishment has decided to post letters everywhere about kids not being in their seats but does nothing about the smoking. Seeking out some cold brew on a cold Cali winter day to warm you up is usually the right way to enjoy what's good if it's done the right way! Of the many brews here I found they have a lot from different breweries and just a handful of their own when I go to a brewery I generally want to get a beer that's brewed in house so that's what I went with the Tustin Pale ale and to my surprise it was really bad and just didn't sit right with me so much so that I didn't even drink it which never happens I just was not into it at all as the flavor just wasn't what's good! For a snack our table had some jalapeño poppers which was a big mistake as they were just the generic frozen ones you find in the frozen section of the supermarket for half the price. As for dinner I ordered their French Dip sandwich and it too was pretty flavorless as well as just not that great either which definitely made it a struggle to eat as I really don't like wasting food even when it's this bad it's still hard for me. The sandwich also came with onion rings which too were just alright not horrible but not that great either. Our service was good and the only thing that kept this review from being all the way to one as none of our party really enjoyed their food or brews. Overall cool little spot but it could have been better all around brews and food it's for that reason I doubt I'll ever come back here as it just wasn't that great! read more

This place is my wife's and my favorite local spot. Good food nice mug of ice cold beers. House beers are great. Try a flight of beers. Didn't get a chance to get a Pliney today but hopefully next time. Best damn chili in town. We have gone straight from the Chili Cookoff to TBC for a bowl of chili. The grandkids love it too. They used to have the bread bowls for the chili and their chowder. Kudos to the chef as everything tastes fresh made. I'm addicted to their tots, fries and those onion rings. The wife has tried so many different items on their menu and loves them all. TBC was the last family dinner out before the damn Covid shutdown and the first place when we could return. Just a note for newbies, it gets loud inside during sports games on the many tv's. Big long bar and a nice comfortable patio. Lots of regulars. Local people know where to go. Enjoy! read more

Tustin Brewing is an A-OK kind of place to grab a drink. With a respectable list of home brews and a pretty robust selection of guest taps, there's not much to complain about when it comes to enjoying an alcoholic beverage here. They're also one of the few places in the area that you can count on to show Dodger games, which is the main reason I find myself here. But there's gotta be something that can be done about the food. I don't think anyone comes here expecting gourmet offerings or even anything other than fried snacks, but my last visit really made me lift an eyebrow. Wanting something a little lighter and less greasy than typical bar food, I ordered the ahi poke. Big mistake. The presentation looked tasty enough, but each piece of tuna was cut with inedible amounts of tendon and reeked of fishiness that no amount of soy sauce could conceal. They had no business serving this dish to anyone. This is a drinking place first, so take it for what it is. I just imagine that this place could be a whole lot better if they put a little more thought and effort into improving their food menu. read more

So I had been a patron of TBC for many years. I used to work across the street and would visit weekly. And I used to live in Tustin too. I've loved their craft beer and delicious dishes they whip up. Life happens and it took me away from Tustin and eventually away from Orange County. Staff changes over time and I don't recognize the familiar faces but they still have the beer, even if Jared isn't the one brewing anymore. Back then over a decade ago, I purchased their lifetime mug club. They gave me a number, which with over time I forgot. I can't remember, but thought they had my name down for their records. I come back to visit this past weekend and mention my mug club membership. The bartender goes to their archives to look it up and can't find my name. So I'm very disappointed in a lifetime mug club membership that I purchased and wasn't honored. I still purchased a couple beers, but that rubbed me the wrong way. read more

My hubby and I showed up at 5:00 and it already had a crowd going. I was starving so I got a basic burger and fries which were the bomb. My hubby got the nachos which he loved and I could have cared less for. We ordered a beer flight which comes with six selections of whatever they are offering for the day and I liked about half of them. I typically go for red/ambers and the Red Hill Red was not that great IMO. I would still come back and try other brews. read more

As you can tell by my Country Hip Hop verse that I really enjoy that Old Town IPA. Although on any random night you can find that Pliny on deck as TBC Is one of the top Russian River vendors locally as well. TBC is known for some of the best local collaborations with TAPS, RIIP + More and the hometown warm service keeps you coming back for more. My favorite on the menu are the buffalo wings, they're extra peppered, and ask for the 1/2 BBQ if you're doubting how incredible they are. Potato skins are my 2nd fave, and if you find you love the brew, then circle back for the Mug club only available certain times of the year. Pretzel with beer cheese pretty good. Wife got the chopped salad with steak and chicken and really liked it (had to get a bit more dressing than what was originally provided. I finished with the cream ale which was crisp and light but I didn't pick up too much flavor cuz I still had a bit of spicy flavor from the Kabobs. A great place to have Happy Hour with friends! Although we did not arrive in time to enjoy their happy hour menu, it appears there is quite a selection and all at reasonable prices. Their regular menu also has a great selection of bar foods (burgers, pizza, finger foods, etc) and craft beers. I ordered the pear ciderhouse which was perfectly tart and not too too sweet. I enjoyed it a lot. Food-wise, I shared the BBQ chicken pizza and the buffalo wings with my boyfriend. It was more food than I thought it was going to be. We had trouble finishing the last few wings. The service was great though. Our server was funny and accommodating. We originally got a table big enough to seat the 6 of us. Then 3 more of our friends arrived a bit later and she (along with the hostess) agreed to let us add on a small table even though it blocked the walkway a bit. A few downsides of the night include difficulty finding parking and the noise level inside. We had to park all the way on the other end of the lot and walk over because there is quite a few other establishments nearby and the lot is small. Also, there was a Stanford vs. USC football game going on so the house was packed and loud! It became increasingly hard to talk to our friends on the other end of the table. I came here with my coworkers on a Tuesday afternoon and it was really dead. We ordered some tacos at $2.25 or $2.50 each for steak and chicken and I believe the shrimp was $2.75. The steak was awesome and these are not your average street tacos. These tacos are big and filled with lots of meat. I would come here just for taco tuesday and get only the steak tacos! I ordered the chicken and that was super dried. We also had some beer flights and depending on what type of beer you get, they average from $2-$2.75. I am not a big beer fan so I only had two flights. My coworkers loved it and seems like a good deal if you are into beer. If I crave tacos, I would definitely come back here.
