Daniel took care of me and showed me around and took me on a test drive of the Mazda 3. He wasn't pushy, and understood that I had not received my check for my totaled car and I assured him I would be back. The following week I got my check and decided on the Mazda 3. I shopped around and got a quote from another dealer for significantly less than tittle-click. I then called Daniel and he answered my call on his day off and arranged with his manager to sell it to me for the lesser price, which was great for me since tuttle click was much closer. The next day I went in to buy the car, and they were super busy. It took a while since they were so busy but I never felt neglected. They didn't have the color of the car I wanted and they arranged a dealer trade and got my car in the next day. So here's the story! I wanted to lease a CX5. I went to 3 dealers - this one, one in Tustin and one in Orange. Tustin - the guy gave me what i thought was an ok quote. But then i came here. These guys blew the quote out of the water to the tune of almost $2,000! And this just from coming in off the street, as opposed to the Tustin one, which was a personal recommendation! Orange i contacted on Tuesday, Wednesday, and was promised a quote on Thursday. Friday i had still heard nothing, and Saturday i finally got a call - unfortunately for them i was already sitting here in Irvine at the finance desk pen poised in my hand ready to sign! From the very first contact they exceeded my expectations- Denise called me, and just as i drew a breath to say "please just send me an email" i realized she had a really nice voice! Something about her made me listen. It was the right move - she was pleasant, honest, professional, and told me exactly what i needed to know with no bullshit and no sales nonsense. That got my attention! So did the quote she gave me which was so ridiculously good i made her triple check the numbers to make sure she was correct! Next up was JR - i was welcomed, helped, listened to and taken seriously. I never felt that i was being taken advantage of, or talked down to. As a single blonde female going to most dealerships on your own you are always on your guard for that. He was even available to me at 8.30 at night when i had a few questions at home completing the online documentation. Last Sunday around Noon, my son and I were looking to test drive the Mazda 3. Excited and eager to check it out, I asked for help from the closest available sales rep, an older Caucasian man, who grumpily informed me that he was busy with someone else. Period. He kept his back to me and my son the whole time, never offered to get someone else to help, and was clearly in a bad mood for whatever reason. I moved on to the next sales rep I saw, who approached me and offered to get me someone to help (he had not seen what just happened). He brought me to the very same salesperson, who was clearly not helping anyone, and was merely shuffling some papers. There was only one other set of customers in the building sitting at another table. The rest of the salespeople were apparently eating lunch while hyper-engaged in a football game on the lobby big screen TV. The new sales guy asked the grump to please help us. - No answer nor acknowledgment. New sales guy says something like, "C'mon man, I'd help them but I have a customer on his way." - Still no answer nor even acknowledgment of us. At this point, I loudly told my son, "let's go." I left very disappointed and sad for my son that his first experience at a car dealer was the worst I have ever personally witnessed in any retail setting. The cure: the Honda dealer down the street. DO NOT BUY OR LEASE HERE! All they want to do is scam you. They won't lower the price or work with you on anything!! Told me they had to run my credit to find an exact APR for the vehicle but were saying it would be between 6.9-9.9%!! I went elsewhere and got a killer deal and guess what they didn't have to run my credit to give me a 3.9% apr! Worse dealer ever don't go there. They wasted a week worth of my time. I have 800 plus credit and they kept giving me the round around with the me getting approved. They ask for proof of income and I gave them that and where asking for more and more information. Take into consideration that I've bought over 5 cars prior to these and never have been harassed to provide tons of information. Everything changed when they found out they gave the wrong price and at the end where force to honor the price. After that they kept throwing excuse after excuse why the deal might not happen. They take forever to call back and treated me unfairly and made it seem like I was lying about everything. Paystubs where given, credit core was 800 plus and they said that bank had a trust issue. At the end I called and told them that I didn't want the car anymore and that I would be filing a complaint and taking my business somewhere else. Sales person said that she couldn't call me cause she was taking care of a client so I guess that makes me a nobody but yet they expect me to buy a car from them.. I don't think so... read more

It's now 3:20 and they haven't given me back my car. Let me reminder you this was just an INSPECTION!!!!! I called my uncle who also works for Mazda but lives far and he told me it shouldn't have taken more than 1 hour to do an inspection. I had the worst experience here!! First they wasted nearly 4 hours of our time to only tell us at the end a whole different price then what we negotiated and discussed. The girl helping us didnt know much about the cars, she had to look at the sheet displayed on the car and read it off to us. I dont know what it is with these Mazda dealers.. we were told that the banks were taking long to "approve" when they discovered their own mess up on the pricing and were trying to anything to cover it up because they would of lost money on the sale. Very disappointed will NEVER attempt to get a car from MAZDA again. But then I started receiving mailers from Tuttle-Click to my home address... Looks like they couldn't bother to respond to my email inquiry, but had no problem adding me to their mailing list. Stupid! I hope they never send me any money, because everything I get from them goes promptly in the trash. I don't bother to read it because they didn't bother to read what I sent them. I just bought a certified used vehicle from this dealer yesterday. While I love the car, I'm on the fence about coming back to this dealership. Or, shall I say, I'm 90% sure I wouldn't come back to buy a car from them unless they were the only dealership with the car I wanted. First, I came back at 8:30 with my brother the night prior and they were closed. The salesman I talked to earlier in the day said he was working until 9 and the website says they're open until 9. I guess they only stay open until 9 if they have customers, otherwise, they leave whenever. One of the guys tried to say he was there until 8:45, don't lie to me. It's glass windows and doors, I can see inside to the dealership. You had some of the office lights off, the door was locked, no one was there. When I came back the next day, they offered me 5.9% financing so I called my credit union who gave me 3.54%. I should have known better and gone to the credit union to pick up my check. Instead, these guys insist I go trade in my car at Carmax - which was an extremely pleasant experience - and they'd process some papers and then I could go to the bank. Well, they came back with financing at 3.49% which is only five hundredth, not five tenth, of a percent like the finance guy was trying to tell me - I'm Asian, I know how to do math - and at this point, I was stuck with them since I hadn't gone to pick up my check before selling my car. They tried to sell me a $200 three year car option for oil changes and tire rotations but that wasn't going to happen. "A real savings" he says. Only an idiot would go to a stealership and pay $75 for an oil change, I'm buying a Mazda, not a BMW! And after the buying experience, do I want to try the service?!? Then he wanted $900 for GAP insurance. The credit union only wanted $200. I argued my case and I got it down to $600 but had I just gone to my bank, I wouldn't have had to deal with this b.s. Upon delivery, I'm pretty sure one of the forms I signed with the finance guy said they would show me how the car works. The only thing the sales guy did was pair up the Bluetooth on my phone. The car wash guys did a lousy job. They said detailing team, but that is not a detail. There was still water spots on the car, the tires weren't clean, only 3/4 of the tires had been sprayed, and the car wasn't clayed or wax - I know what a detail is. The fact that I got out a razor blade and scraped some paint - the kind they use to write specials on the windows - off the windshield didn't impress me. I had the blades from the car I sold, I keep an assortment of stuff in the car. Lucky for me, Alex at Rhino Detailing in Huntington Beach has an opening today so I'll get a real detail there. My overall take on this dealership, if they have the car you want at the right price, then come here. Otherwise, the guys in HB were pretty fair in pricing and extremely friendly. Orange, they'll bait and switch you. I hadn't stopped in Tustin so no opinion there. Be prepared for the financing game. If you have a bank or credit union that has great rates, go get the bank draft first before you try to buy here because they'll make you wait forever until they can beat whatever deal you have - or just tell them you got a way lower deal than what you got and see if they can beat it. It was a 4 hour ordeal - including the hour I was at Carmax, but nothing got done while I was gone, surprise surprise - to buy a car. I could have made it to the bank and to Carmax and saved time since I waited about an hour when I got back from Carmax to start the paperwork. And then, I wouldn't have had to argue with their ridiculous add ons. Not the best buying experience, actually second worse. This was my second time buying a used car, overall seventh car I've purchased so I have some reference of what to expect. read more

I love Mazdas and have for years. I recently had an issue with mine which was a warranty covered item. The service manager, Richard Gere, yes you read it right, is the biggest loser and in no way knows how to manage his employees, let alone himself. The experience was so typical of a bad, bitter older man who looked like he hated his job that he exuded the epitome of the worst representation of customer service I have seen in a long time. It took 4 visits to resolve the issue and numerous times of providing my cell phone number which they claim never had. Excuse after excuse. His prodigy, Robert was not far behind but at least he had some manners and apologized. After going here, I wish I didn't own a Mazda. Ironically, my first job was at Torrance Mazda back in the 70's everyone was so nice. read more

I just bought a used Mazda MX5 from another dealership, and had a part of the convertible top malfunction. I took the car in to the dealership and overall had an outstanding experience. The men who run the service department are friendly and stay within their quotes (in this case it was several hundred dollars under quote). Their shuttle was available to pick me up and take me to work, the driver was professional and courteous. Small perk, there is an Enterprise across the way from them, so if you need a rental it is so convenient! Nothing stands out as "amazing" but it was professional, simple, thoughtful, and I will continue to go to this Mazda dealership for all my repairs. read more
