Last month my sister and I both bought new Hyundai Santa Fe's from Tuttle Hyundai, Irvine. the service was great and they were not pushy in the least and also very accommodating. I had the worst experience at this dealership. A friend of mine asked me to drop his leased car here and i called them and confirmed with them that it is okay if I drop the car and the receptionist confirmed. I arranged everything so that I could be there on time. When I got there, they said that only the person who has leased the car can return it, but they try to help me. There was a manager named Nick who asked me sit so that he could find out how he could help me. I waited for AN HOUR AND HALF and as he did not come back, I asked one of the employees where Nick was, and guess what he answered: Nick has left the dealership and was already at home!!!!!!!!!!!! I got shocked and started to argue with the employee and he was just keep saying that he was sorry and that they could do nothing. The part that I cannot accept is that why at the first place they asked me to bring the car, and why they kept me waiting for such a long time while the manager ignored me completely and had gone home. That's ridiculous and unacceptable. The staff at this dealership are not helpful and nice and their attitude is aweful . I do not recommend anybody to go to this dealership to get a car. read more

I am here mainly to complain about the General Manager Brian, I had gone in to purchase a car and every was so easy with our sales person! someone unfortunate occurred to where i was no long able to keep the car, this happens two days after the purchase. I called to speak with Bryan and he stated he would try and figure something out and give me call back- Never got that call, so i called and spoke to Nick who i believe is a sales manager, he was so awesome and very nice and told me he would do anything to try and help me out. A day pass with no phone call, i called back thursday and spoke with Brian, legally dealerships can revoke a contract within 10 days. Bryan was EXTREMELY rude on the phone and was giving me very short 1 word answers and didn't try and help me at all, he told me that they are not going to take the fall for a used car because it makes their job more difficult. I would imagine as a GM you would go beyond to try and make a customer happy but no he could not wait to get me off the phone and brushed me aside as if i didnt matter. I will definitely be going to corporate about this and their unwillingness to help me. read more

We came to mazda with the intention of peeking into the CX5, we were greeted by Matt H. Super duper nice guy and really knows a lot about the cars he sells. Matt was genuinely polite and answered all of our questions and didn't flinch when we ended up liking the CX9 better. If this review was solely based on Matt it would be a 5 star review! Unfortunately Matt wasn't the only person at Mazda we encountered, their "finance managers" were a hot mess. We were quoted one price for a sport when we never even wanted a sport?? We wanted a Touring. I feel we made that clear and were told NO problem, they'd be happy to move some numbers to get us in the Touring. It was late when we popped in with our approval and definitely didn't want to keep them there after closing, we came back the next day and suddenly the car was $8k more expensive-Did the pope sleep in there over night and raise the value of it??? At that point it was comical and we walked down the road and bought a Chevy Traverse. We were told different finance managers quoted different numbers and no one could explain the price difference.. This place is aweful! We purchased my father's first Mazda from this dealer about 5 years ago and went in today for a trade-in hoping to get the 2014 Mazda6. Last December we went in to look at a Mazda for my brother and spoke to a salesman outside for 5-10 minutes and we told him we were going to look around the lot and would let him know, after 10-15 minutes we went inside and asked for the guy were just talking to and they said ok we'll find him for you, 15 minutes later somebody else came and said "oh he went home" !!!!! We were shocked from lack of service, so we end up going to Fletcher Jones Merceds a few days later and ended up trading 4 cars (myself, my husband, my brother, and my mom!!!) and got 4 brand new Benz! Exactly!!!! But today (regretfully) we decided to give Tuttle Click Mazda, another chance, in order to trade in my father's car. From the very beginning Carl talked like a true "car sales man" , it was straight from a script, word by word! Then without test driving the car we decided to go in and talk numbers (since we already had a Mazda6 in the past). He got some information from us (basic driver's license info, nothing to check Credit with) and came back and told us we need to put down $10,000 per his manager on a $25,000 car! My family and were actually pretty shocked and offended by this ridiculous offer! Meanwhile i was talking to Huntington Beach Mazda dealership, i had told them what we were looking for and the price, they told me they could meet our needs and we should go there. We told Carl about the deal at Huntington Beach and he said "they can't give you that price but I'll run it by my manager" he came back and told us "sorry we can't do that (even thiugh earlier he told us that they are the only dealer in OC who will match the offers made by other dealerships!) and they are lying to you just to get you in, if that's the price they are offering you just tell them to fax it to us but they probably won't because they can't give you such deal" so we got up to leave and as were we were leaving he said " let me know how it goes because i would be interested in knowing how they made you that kind of deal" by that time I was very annoyed by their horrible service and told him " i'll just bring the car over tomorrow to show up how" we went to the Huntington Beach Mazda Dealership and got the best price on the car and lots of incentives and the exact payments and amazing customer service as we deserved! These people should just close their doors for good! Just an aweful experience! I'm giving it one star just because i have to give it something, but they don't even deserve that! read more

I currently am leasing a 2018 Mazda 3. When I was in the finance department with Mo, he sold me a maintenance plan and said it could be used at any Mazda dealership without no internal issues. I scheduled an appointment to a check up maintenance done on my car at the Riverside location, which is the area I reside in. When arrived it was explained that my plan does not work at their location and only at Tuttle Click. I spoke multiple times with Mo, the GM, and Mazda corporation with the same explanation and no one taking responsibility for the fraudulent sale they made. I am very disappointed and will stick with the maintenance plan, but have no intention of investing any more money into any type of Mazda vehicle when the lease is completed. Please train your employees in a professional manner and take responsibility to show that customer service is a priority and that no lies or any type of fraudulent activity like this occurs. Tuttle-Click Mazda service was extraordinary at the time of need. My son, who is a relatively new driver, unfortunately pumped diesel into his Mazda 6. The car of course cant run on diesel. My wife and I were 80 miles away and unable to help him except by phone. The best I could do was call Tuttle-Click to prepare them for a tow service coming in. David Mazzocco answered the phone in service (despite being closed for the day 30 minutes beforehand). I walked him through what happened, and he told me he would wait for my son's car to arrive. Unfortunately, we had issues with AAA and the tow was delayed by hours. David stayed. After nearly four hours after closing, the tow truck driver finally delivered the car to dealer. David was amazing. Not only did he honor his commitment to see this through for my young son, but he took the extra effort of arranging a safe ride home for him. I've owned many cars and bought from many dealerships, but I have never seen this level of service for an individual. He stayed over 4 hours after work to make everything better for son! The next time I buy a Mazda, I will drive as far as needed to get to Tuttle-Click and David is the reason. read more

Now I knew exactly what I wanted and asked them to match or beat the deal I had from another dealer and they simply had the car in stock rather than in the port, which would take another 8 days. You know how it is when you want a car. Anyway. I contacted them via email with a specific offer. Denise from the internet sales department got back to me immediately and told me the price I was asking for was okay and I had a deal. I am from Redondo Beach, so driving down to Irvine is a burden if you do t have the deal confirmed. Brian contacted me the next day and asked me to come down as we can make this work and I did. Super pleasant surprised by the the cool ppl. Easy negotiations and even Nick in the finance department was speaking my 'tone'. Happy with the ease of negotiations and the 45 min it took from walking in to driving out. Recommended dealer. FYI: Mazda 3 2014 S 5 door touring . $800 down 36 months with 12k and $330 per month. She did make 2 honest mistakes on the price quote for CX-9 Grand Touring that we wanted. In the end, we and Tuttle-Click Mazda came into the price point that was reasonable for both parties. It was a busy day so the transaction took about 4.25 hours. Not because we haggled but it's because the dealership had many customers and it is not a big dealership like the ones we went to. I was very satisfied with the customer service I got from Daniel. He showed me the Mazda model I wanted to look at (cx-5) and had extensive knowledge about all the car's features. He showed me a few of the same model side by side with different features and we took a look at some of the differences of the basic and the upgraded. He was super nice and took his time with us in helping us decide. He went with us on two test drives. When we knew which one we wanted, (the one with upgraded features, the Touring,) We were worried about the price. Too bad zero stars isn't an option. I could not have had worse experience with this dealership. After reading the many positive reviews on here, I thought I would check it out on my day off (Sunday) over Memorial Weekend. Upon arriving I was greeted by Carlos and asked him if there were any specials going on for Memorial Day to which he responded he wasn't sure because he had been off for the last two days (it was 430 in the afternoon). My lease isn't up until September so I was just shopping around to see what my options were, I had no intention of getting in a car that day. I let Carlos know what my situation was with my lease, and he came back and gave me an amazing deal, so I took it. The color I wanted wasn't on the lot, so I paid my down payment and he said he would be in touch first thing in the morning to let me know when to come in. Next day comes, and he tells me the car is on the way around noon and he'll have it in 2 hours. A few hours pass and he texts me that the wrong car was sent, so he'll have it for me the following day (Tuesday). I am at work the next day, planning to stop by on my way home to get my new car, and Carlos calls and says the car didn't make it in again, but to come in anyways, he was going to give me a rental and have me do all the paperwork, that way when the car comes in I can just swap keys and I would be in and out. I go in after work around 530 and end up sitting in the waiting room for almost 2 hours. When Mo from finance finally comes to get me to go over everything, he mentions that I was still going to be responsible for fees that Carlos said they were going to be taking care of. When I explained the deal that Carlos had given me, Mo apologized and said Carlos must have miscommunicated with me because hes new. I asked for my money back and left the dealership after having them waste my time going for 3 days. They made no effort in trying to accommodate me for their employees lack of knowledge. It's been a week, I emailed the General Manager Brian, and still haven't heard back from him. The lack of customer service at this place is ridiculous. If you're in the OC area, don't waste your time here, I would recommend going down to Capo Mazda, everyone down there is super friendly and not pushy at all. read more
