Me, my best friend, and her daughter went there last Sunday for breakfast. They have been there before I haven't. The place was crowded at 9:00 but we got a seat. They offer everyone free appetizer (cinnamon roll pieces I think) it to was good. We got French Toast, Omelette with goat cheese and bacon, chocolate chips pancakes (for her daughter), bacon, orange juice, and coffee. The food and service was great. As a bloody Mary expert, I can say confidently that this place makes the best bloody Mary I've ever had. The flavors go absolutely bonkers. This atmospheric little spot is located in an interesting neighborhood that's easy to reach via public transit. The food is high quality and creative with a focus on flavor. The hash-browns that came with the eggs benedict are probably the most flavorful and delicious I've had from a brunch place. Having been here several times, Tweet never disappoints! They have a large brunch food menu with an even more extensive drinks menu. I've not heard of beermosa before coming to this place, and it was surprisingly good. The service was efficient and polite. One thing that I didn't quite like was that I did feel a little rushed every time I was there, but unfortunately that's common in a popular place like Tweet. The service has always been amazing. It's very well organized and if you're on a waitlist you can always wait at the bar over a drink. That's very smart that they encourage that. I've been to Tweet a couple times. The food has always been phenomenal! However, in my latest experience, the waitress had no patience with my guest asking common questions about the food contents. The waitress mocked my guest and brought their spirits down. My guest respectfully asked what what inside of the crab cake sandwich, and the waitress didn't know what the correct contents. The same guest also requested one of the ingredients be omitted from the order and the waitress served them the plate that included that ingredient. Among that, I sat the entire service with an empty water glass and wasn't asked once by our waitress if I wanted a refill. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the quality of service in my last visit. I'm unsure now if I will return with any future visitors due to the rude encounter and lack of quality service. read more

Cute brunch spot and very busy! I love that they start the table off with complimentary cake. It's fresh, moist and subtly sweet. Personally, I thought the menu was too much and would've been easier to order from a smaller menu. I ordered the corn arepas with chorizo- it came with a cup of fresh fruit. The portion was huge, and while it was good, it felt like something was missing. The sour cream also made one extremely soggy. Next time, I'll have to look over the menu to come prepared to order. We ordered the protein platter (it was not what I expected, I thought it'd have more protein honesty, but what I got was tasty and fresh) and the pancakes with chocolate chips (we ordered the gluten free pancakes because that was what our server recommended us; and it was good!). Oh, how I love Tweet! My boyfriend used to live five minutes from this spot so we used to frequent it for weekend brunches. It is pretty much always packed on the weekends, and very laid back with only a few groups on the weekdays. The wait usually isn't too long, and the food makes the wait worth it. Once you have a table, the server meets you almost immediately with delicious chocolatey cinnamon coffee cake. Coffee is always bottomless. My orders have always come with fruit cups, and those come before the main meal. I have one favorite dish at Tweet: the eggs benedict. I've tried a few variations of their eggs benedict and I love them every time. Well proportioned and never disappointing. I'll note that Tweet is also quite baby friendly. I went to Tweet with my 6-month-old sister, and they greeted her with smiles and a small plastic baby bowl of cut up bananas. No issues at all if she ever shrieked or dropped her food. Tweet is my go-to for when I have family and friends in town. Amazing service and fantastic food. read more

Exceptional service! We came here straight from the airport and they took our luggage and got us a table immediately. The table was set up with pastries already which were really good. We got our coffees and orders taken right away. I ordered the Santa Fe special which comes with black bean patties and two eggs any style and hash browns. I wasn't a huge fan of the black bean patties. I expected the patties to be grilled but they were mashed black beans. Also all of us got a cup of fruit salads with our meals. The presentation of the food was excellent! Also there are many vegan and vegetarian options available. I would highly recommend checking out this place. It's cash only so make sure you have cash. I ordered chilaquiles and while I am aware that it would be americanized it didn't constitute for it to be completely flavorless and have no tomatillo sauce at all and they charge you extra when you ask for sauce even though they didn't give you any. What made this experience the worst was our server Lorena giving me attitude the whole time, she said I was being too picky and would answer my questions with a condescending tone. I just had the most wonderful experiences at Tweet. I love their fried cauliflower. It's not at all greasy. I had that (i have trouble not getting it when im there so i always have leftovers if i come in by myself) and also had one of the best omelets I've had in a long time. Simple ingredients- mushrooms shallots and gouda. But perfectly cooked. I almost never order omelets out because I like them soft and they are always overdone. My server was so nice and so very attentive even though he was busy with the lunch rush. Others helped to make sure my mimosa glass was full:) Ive always loved Tweet but this was an exceptional visit. Their food and service is of the highest quality. And the menu has a lot of variety. Returning after a while (8 years) and both the place and me have grown. The service was excellent (Theodore) and the food was really good, especially for this gluten-free gal. They have about 20 options for gluten-free brunch, everything from eggs and waffles to burgers and sandwiches. We ordered the California Benedict and loved it. The Santa Fe Special was good but didn't stand up to the Benedict. The place does have a unique vibe and eclectic art, with the inside rooms loud and energetic. My personal preference is sitting outside, especially the back patio, which feels like an oasis of quiet on a Sunday afternoon. I'm a relatively picky bruncher, but Tweet did not disappoint. The restaurant has so many options to choose from that my friend and I took awhile to decide. I ended up choosing Eggs Benedict and hash browns, and she picked the Portabella sandwich. To drink I got a peach iced tea and my friend got coffee. They give each table a little cake, which is really delicious and makes this place stand out from their competion. The food arrived at the perfect time, not too fast, not too slow. Both of us really enjoyed our meals. Something that I would like to give Tweet huge kudos for is the service. Our server was fantastic! There have been plenty of times I have gone places and paid the bill and sat to talk with my date and the service just ends. This was not the case!
