This bar is the type you'd come here to sit, drink, chill, chat and play pool. It felt like an old fashion style bar and had a unique social vibe. They have a small patio which I assume it is still open during winter. The booths in front of the bar fit around six people.

The Twilite Lounge is a blast from the past and offers something for everyone. Don't knock it, until you have tried the 32 oz miller highlife (sorry people, those are not 40z). It's a very cool and trendy watering hole - serving people since 1947. The crowd varies but this place is full of main street regulars, working class stiffs, and tight-pant hipsters as someone put it. I dig all the patrons and the pretty ladies that frequent here. I like their unique dress styles, revealing tattoos, and one of a kind smiles. Tip: Cash only. The PBR here is cheap and you can get a beer for $1.50. Twilite also has a couple of micro brews on tap, a pool table and a jukebox. The patio in front is always full of smokers. So if you mind cigarette smoke, chances are, you might not like this place. Personally, I really like the old school booths, the small tables and the fireplace in the back. I like that this place is kinda dark and offers a let's-get-grimy-with-it but let's keep it cool atmosphere.

This is 1 of 2 pool tables. Bar area is packed! That's how I like it. Lively with good vibes.

We started with the hanabi. Crispy rice topped with spicy tuna and avocado, finished with sliced jalapeño, micro greens, and agave soy reduction. Next we tried the aker crunch roll. Not the greatest roll we've ever had, but definitely better quality than sushi at most places in Utah. I'd get it again. We then tried the toro and sablefish nigiri. The toro was great. My wife didn't want to try it and at the end of the meal said it was her favorite thing. The sablefish is good, but if you've had the sablefish at Takashi you'll be a little disappointed with this one. I would skip that next time and just get the toro. Star of the show for me was the wagyu ribeye. The steak was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The bone marrow butter jus and chimichurri were both great and I found myself switching between the two. I also enjoyed the carrots and polenta that came with the steak. For dessert we had the butter cake. It was good. Not as good as the one at sol agave, and I think the one we had at Felt next door was even better, but we still really enjoyed it. Service was really good and we can't wait to go back.

The concept sounded great, but the dish wasn't balanced. It leaned overwhelmingly savory, and the toasted bread served alongside it was so hard it was difficult to eat without feeling like you might crack a tooth. Overall, it was just mediocre. Next, we had the torched sablefish nigiri. It lacked the depth of flavor I was expecting. If you've been to Takashi, their sablefish nigiri is significantly better. The Wagyu nigiri was good, but again, nothing memorable. Takashi's version has more flavor and is executed better. The Aker Crunch Roll was probably the biggest disappointment. It tasted like something you'd find at an average strip mall sushi restaurant, not at a high-end establishment. The highlight of the meal was the Wagyu ribeye plate. The steak itself was excellent quality and cooked well. The baby carrots were very good, and the polenta was outstanding. The only miss on the plate was the chimichurri, which had an overpowering raw onion flavor that overwhelmed everything else. Service also left something to be desired. Our waitress had an unusual habit of lingering at the table much longer than necessary during every interaction, which became uncomfortable. She also failed to notice that my wife's drink had been empty for quite a while, and I eventually had to wave down another staff member to get it refilled. For a bill of around $250 before drinks or dessert, I expected a much more polished and memorable experience. While there were a few bright spots, they weren't enough to justify the cost. Overall, I wouldn't return, and I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere if you're looking for a truly exceptional sushi and Wagyu experience.

But I'm sad to say that tonight will be my last night going to Sky. I was assaulted by a girl who was pushing to the front and I put my elbows up to prevent it and then got shoved and punched in the face. Never thought I would be the victim of assault but alas, here we are. What made the situation worse was Tony, the security guard chose to believe the 22 year old girls who assaulted me instead of me and my shiner, then gaslit me and told me that I must've been the one being the asshole. Sorry to no longer go to a place that usually brings in good djs but I cannot abide the crowd. Super over it. Will not be returning ever, no matter the headliner. One too many negative experiences. Should've stopped a long time ago.

Thankfully, no reservation was needed but it was still really busy. We were able to get seating next to the window; however I do wish the spacing between tables were a little bit bigger, as it feels like everyone's in each other's conversations and forces you to be friends with your neighbors. Not ideal when you're on a date night or trying to be intimate with someone. For drinks, we were interested in trying something before ordering a bottle or a glass. I didn't realize that for a wine sampling like that, it was $3 bucks... We got just a glass, and I went for a custom cocktail. ON the bill, they call it a "bar roulette," and that ran me $20 bucks... yesh, but ok!!! Dinner choices for us were the Clam Chowder & Wagyu Steak. The claim chowder presentation was definitely unexpected as it didn't resemble a Soup as expected. The changing of menus so I was good and I was good to see a couple things still there, but also familiar with some of the new stuff that I saw being delivered did leave me scratching my head.
