This bar is the type you'd come here to sit, drink, chill, chat and play pool. It felt like an old fashion style bar and had a unique social vibe. They have a small patio which I assume it is still open during winter. The booths in front of the bar fit around six people.

The Twilite Lounge is a blast from the past and offers something for everyone. Don't knock it, until you have tried the 32 oz miller highlife (sorry people, those are not 40z). It's a very cool and trendy watering hole - serving people since 1947. The crowd varies but this place is full of main street regulars, working class stiffs, and tight-pant hipsters as someone put it. I dig all the patrons and the pretty ladies that frequent here. I like their unique dress styles, revealing tattoos, and one of a kind smiles. Tip: Cash only. The PBR here is cheap and you can get a beer for $1.50. Twilite also has a couple of micro brews on tap, a pool table and a jukebox. The patio in front is always full of smokers. So if you mind cigarette smoke, chances are, you might not like this place. Personally, I really like the old school booths, the small tables and the fireplace in the back. I like that this place is kinda dark and offers a let's-get-grimy-with-it but let's keep it cool atmosphere.

This is 1 of 2 pool tables. Bar area is packed! That's how I like it. Lively with good vibes.

We ordered some chips, Brussels spouts and their newest menu item the carpaccio. All items came out quickly and hot and were delicious! Forgot to let the camera ear first when the food came but be assured the food looked as good as the drinks! We had our minds set on one place but found this instead and I think the better pop in option won! Located in down town on an alley, this hidden place loves up to what it is named after!

They were ready for us when we arrived and sat us downstairs, which was really cool! The vibe and esthetic of the entire restaurant was pretty unique. The booth chairs were very soft, and a little uncomfortable compared to the table height as you sink into them. Our waitress was kind, but had a weird attitude. Someone ordered an Americano (from the menu) to which she said they didn't have espresso... she ended up bringing the Americano to him without any explanation. It was just a little odd. Someone ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer, and they were good, but I wouldn't order them again. A lot of people ordered the burger, which was overcooked for almost every person and definitely didn't seem like wagyu beef. The steak sandwich I got (pictured) was good, but it came with lettuce that had really long stems. I don't particularly enjoy eating stems, so that's as annoying. The rest of my food was delicious. ESPECIALLY the garlic aioli. I could drink that stuff! The cost did seem fair for the quality of food, but a few adjustments could be made to the cook and such. We enjoyed our time and I will definitely go back! Hopefully for some drinks next time!

The prices were very reasonable! Drafts were $7 and some cocktails were $11. The bartenders were super friendly and polite and talented! I really enjoyed watching them prepare five drinks at once without loosing a beat! The music was also great! They were rocking early 2000s jams. I ordered their penecilin cocktail which had ginger, honey, coconut and lemon with whiskey and it was delicious!! Everyone else enjoyed their drinks and we had a great time!

In full transparency it has been 2-3 years since my first and last visit to Water Witch. I noticed this in my drafts and thought I should complete my review. That said, I think I hyped this place up in my head too much before my visit because of the James Beard nod. So when it didn't quite hit the mark for me, I was disappointed. It's quite an intimate bar. By that I mean small space inside. The main bar has seating of course and there are a few seating areas directly behind the barstool area. There is a small walkway that separates the bar and the seating area. So the seating area is looking straight forward at the bartenders and the backs of people on barstools. I felt like the people behind me were staring into my soul lol, but that's a me problem ha. It's a modern design and beautifully decorated. I had two drinks. One from the menu and one that I told the bartender what I liked and disliked. He then made a drink based upon my taste. In my opinion it tasted similar to the one from the menu, which was disappointing because I was hoping for something different. There was one bartender that evening and one bar back, so even with the few people at the bar (I'd say 6-7 including me and a guest) and the 4 people seated behind us. It took some time to get his attention and order a drink. Which is part of the reason I only had two drinks. I would probably give this place another try since it's been some time since I've been there. As I always like to say. Stop in and judge for yourself.

Unfortunately, the start wasn't ideal. We sat for over 1t minutes without anyone checking on us, brining water, or even acknowledging our table. Eventually, I flagged someone down, and they sent our waiter over. Thankfully, he apologized and completely turned the experience around with excellent service for the rest of the evening. Since it was hot outside's I started with an ice-cold House Blonde beer, which hit the spot. Has another and then tried the Grilled Pina cocktail, and it was fantastic. We skipped the appetizers, although several sounded tempting. For my entree, I ordered one of the four recommended dishes the Branzino Al Pastor. The sea bass was flavorful and cooked well, and I really enjoyed it. The only downside was that it had quite a few bones. I'd recommend asking for it to be deboned beforehand. Despite the rough start, the food, drinks, and service once we got going made for a very enjoyable meal. I'd definitely come back .

It feels like the kind of place you stumble into by accident and then immediately wonder why more people haven't discovered it. The interior is gorgeous, parking is a breeze, and the service is genuinely exceptional. We went on a Saturday night and, surprisingly, were the only ones there for most of our visit. Aside from one other guest who left early, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Instead of awkward, it made the night feel intimate and relaxed. We ended up chatting with both the bartender and the kitchen staff, who were warm, friendly, and great at what they do. The drinks were a standout. Creative, beautifully made, and delicious. The bartender even whipped up a few off‑menu cocktails for me, and the best of the night was their matcha martini, which he said he created himself. It was incredible. Even my partner, who normally avoids anything matcha, enjoyed it. We weren't planning to eat, but of course we "sport ate" anyway. The deviled eggs were great, and the small Pinsa was fantastic -- especially with the adorable little bowl of hot honey and its tiny honey dispenser (whatever that thing is called). We intended to take most of it home... and then proceeded to eat the entire thing. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Therefore, the note on their website about serving pho from 6 or 6:30 PM until they run out is only accurate one out of seven days a week. Secondly, it's a bar, which in Utah means that no one under 21 is allowed for any reason. Not knowing either one of these things until I arrived here, I brought my ailing 16-year-old daughter here for pho at 9 o'clock at night on a cross country trip, only to be turned away at the door. I wouldn't be posting this review if that was the end of the story, but while we stood outside, trying to figure out what we were going to eat and if we could find soup somewhere, another party of four walked in to get pho and were told in an "you should know this" tone that it's only served on Sunday nights. I hope the food is good. But people, get your VERY basic act together on the information and customer service front.
