The food was bad and when I suggested that it was terrible I received a smile and a oh well I will never return!!

I wasn't expecting much from the "breastaurant" category and this place fell in line. The place was packed for a Monday evening but I was able to be seated rather quickly. After looking over the menu and seeing what they had, I decided on some wings. They're hard to mess up and a restaurant such as twin peaks needs solid wings. They were actually better than I thought they would be. My issue was the waitstaff. First, my waitress seemed upset that I just ordered water (I needed to drive after the meal) and not a cocktail. Second, she was laying the flirty routine on WAY too thick. I've been to enough of these types of establishments to know that it's all a show. And lastly she only came by my table at the beginning to take my order and the end to give me my check. Other, more friendly waitresses brought my water and food. This place is better than hooters but nothing to write home about. read more

I'll start with the bacon appetizer, because I could have stopped there and been completely satisfied. For 5 bucks, you get six slices of baco-heaven! Even ordered it twice. Otherwise, the rest of our food was very tasty and we'll presented. Drinks were mixed well, atmosphere was inviting, and service was very accommodating. Ate here a couple of times during my stay in Boise. This place is conveniently located next to a Hilton Garden Inn so I could walk right in. The food here was decent but I didn't eat anything that tasted great, just decent. The atmosphere was great and the waitresses were friendly. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by the "scenery" which was lackluster for a place that specifically advertises it. First let me say I am 100% supportive of Service animals. They provide critically important roles for their humans. Service animals are welcome ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE. Having said that, I can't believe what we witnessed tonight at dinner. A Lady brought a non-service dog into the dining room of Twin Peaks. To our surprise the waitress brought a bowl of water from the kitchen (picture a clear plastic square container that would likely hold items used during meal preparation in a restaurant kitchen). The bowl was placed ON THE FLOOR for the dog. The dog drank from the bowl. At the end of their meal, the lady placed the bowl up on top of their table and they left. The buss-boy when clearing the table, dumped the remaining water from the dog bowl over a full load of glassware, plates, and silverware on his tray, and stacked the bowl on the top of the pile. That is absolutely disgusting! The kitchen bowl that was on the floor tonight, will probably hold sliced tomato's tomorrow! The thought of the dog slobber water pouring over all those glasses and plates is a picture my mind wont soon forget. NASTY, with a capital N! read more

Out of the many restaurants I have eaten at in Boise, Twin Peaks is among the best. The main selling point is probably the smokin' hot waitresses. Besides that the food was great. I ordered fish and chips and that came in a slightly large proportion. My uncle ordered the chicken fried stake, and it was HUGE. I'm a Texan, and for me to say something is huge is very rare cause every thing is bigger in Texas. The stake lasted him a week. I had an overall great experience at Twin Peaks. I wish they had a location in my current residence of Los Angeles. read more

When you come to Twin Peaks, you pretty much know what you're coming for. The food is nothing special, neither are the girls. It's your basic boobs and food joint. Our server recommended the queso dip, which was decent. Probably the best thing about our experience was how genuinely friendly are server was. Be aware- it's very loud!! Good service up until I was in the middle of a game and had all the TVs at the location turned. The reasoning was someone could not turn their eyes 60 inches to the right. If you are not a BSU fan avoid this place for games on Saturdays. read more

The twin peaks burger was great, the fries on the other hand were OK but not the best. The bread pudding and fried pickles were amazing. the atmosphere was awesome, lots of TV lots of sports. The service is where it becomes confusing. We had an amazing waitress, happy, friendly, helpful and enthusiastic about making sure we had a great time (code name S). unfortunately it was the end of her shift and she had to leave in the middle of the table. Her replacement was fine but in comparison to the last waitress very lacking (code name D). Didn't seem to want to wait on us, a little slow with refiles and desert but in generally OK. This review would have defiantly been a 5 star if S had been there throughout the meal. It goes to show a little extra customer service can go a long way. read more

1st time there and the wife and I will be going back! It is nice to see that in the 21st century we have woman who are not the perfect Barbie model that are proud of their bodies, tattooed girls as well, the diversity was great. In the door the seating waitress, I think was hung-over, just was not all with it. Made me nervous about the rest. BUT - as soon as seated had Mekenah getting drink orders and recommending food and the way she thought it was good, it is nice to have someone give an opinion and not just stand there asking for order with no conversation skills at all. As recommended we got the quesadilla's as an appetizer - HOLY CRAP these were AWESOME! My wife had the blackened chicken (recommended) and breaded shrimp, I had the steakhouse burger, both came with "fire" fries. This food was outstanding! The IPA we had washed it all down nicely at a chilling 29 deg. The calendar comes with coupons you can use each month, and the mouse pad is extremely comfortable! read more

Not very good food. Not very good service. I've been here, twice. The first time a business colleague and I were basically ignored by the hostess twins. The place was busy, and they only seemed interested in larger parties. We couldn't even get our names on a list to be seated. So, we walked across the street to Goodwood's, where we had a very nice lunch. Today, they weren't as busy. Maybe some of the fascination has worn off. This is just a Hooter's remodel. That's all. The food is probably a little better at Carl's Jr. The service might be, as well. I see no reason to return for a third experience. read more

My mom and sis were here from So Cali and we need nourishment after a marathon shopping day. The place looked pumpin so we stop in. Before I get inside I ask a gentleman what kinda place this is and he tells me " it's a redneck Hooters, but better." I would have to agree. The food was awesome! We were told by the man to get the chili. It being 20 outside a hot cup sounded good. Oh and it was! We asked to get a gallon to go for dinner. They had the club and the mushroom burger, I got the BBQ burger. I seriously had a foodgasim! Hands down, the best burger in my life! The beer, oh the beer is worth a visit alone. This is our second time, and we love it!!!! We always need a good place to watch Sunday football! The tv's are great and the food is EXCELLENT! The quality of food is there and the customer service is nice and chill! Whatever your order looks just like the picture for once! I've never been, and as a female I wanted to check the place out and my husband suggested it after going to an early movie across the street. I've heard around town that it had really good food, and they were right. You can tell the difference between fresh food and shitty "straight out of the freezer" food. Their meals are gigantic too. I could barely finish half, but it's ok. Leftovers! It wasn't too pricey either. My drinks were consistent, which I liked. I hate when you get a drink that one bartender makes and then another makes your next one and they are different. Their signature drinks are damn good! But everything food and drink wise was as great as everyone says. I didn't really get the hype about the girls... I mean yeah I'm a female, I get that sex sells. But when I went in I realized it's really not about that. I totally thought, "oh another cheap knock off of hooters" but the girls here actually like their job and you can tell. Their outfits are actually really cute and flattering. If I had that body again I would rock it, but those days are long gone. The bartenders Mellisa and Sara sat and talked to me and my husband for a while.. there was another one but I can't remember her name. They were pretty smart, I must say. I like that they didn't 'dumb themselves down' to make tips. They were just real and they acted the same around me that they did with every other person at the bar. Genuine? is that the word I'm looking for? I worked in the restaurant industry so I get it, but I don't quite know how to explain it... there is a lot of respect between employees, including managers and it's evident. I wish this place was around when I was a waitress! Honestly all in all, I went in with a pretty closed mind, but somehow they opened me up. Needless to say, I'll be back. P.S. Got hung up on twice and the second time I called back the phone was answered with "Hello".. I guess it's too difficult for them to see if they get a certain channel.. This place is alright. I really enjoyed the fried pickle appetizer. I ordered the meatloaf with mac and cheese. It was pretty bland, not a lot of flavor.
