Twist in Breckenridge is such a charming gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a welcoming host and shown to a table on the upper level. The space is inviting with a warm and relaxed ambiance. Our server was friendly and added to the overall excellent dining experience. My friend ordered the steak and gave me a sample, it was fantastic. I ordered the Almond Crusted Seared Ruby Red Trout, and it was outstanding. Perfectly cooked & flavorful. I really enjoyed the almond crust, a nice subtle crunch. Plus, the base had some sort of crunchy noodles? I wish I knew the name! For dessert, our group shared the Flourless Chocolate Torte with Peanut Butter Mousse and the Bourbon Apple Churro Crumble. Both were delicious. My favorite was the chocolate one because I'm a lover of chocolate. It was decadent and the smooth sweet peanut butter complemented it perfectly. Whether you're a local or just visiting Breckenridge, this spot is well worth a visit.

Came for HH and it is one of the best in town. We got everything on the HH menu food wise and they were all fantastic. Lamb chops, fries, venison carpaccio, bison sliders. Drinks were good too! The patio outside give you a view of the mountains and it's amazing. Great service from Will. Will def be back.

It was off the beaten path, but I'm glad I looked it up on Yelp as it didn't disappoint! Started off with the bib caesar..perfect portion and all the flavors were balanced. Happy Hour took $5 off, bonus! For my main I chose the Pork chop... not much smoke, but perfectly cooked and sides were great! Opted for the truffle gelato to round out the meal, very tasty, and a huge portion. Ambiance is chic cozy cottage, service was average, and prices were in line with the area. If I'm back in town I'll give this one another shot... you should too!

Came here for our Christmas dinner; and unfortunately this was a miss for us. Pumpkin & Lobster Soup - Super heavy and mostly tasted like a rich pumpkin soup Christmas Salad - This was quite tasty; dressing was good but the candied bacon wasn't prepared well Crispy Skin Duck - The fat was not rendered down well and the skin was not crispy Halibut - Prepared well, seasoned okay but the sides were underwhelming Crème Brûlée Dessert - Was not entirely set Banana Bread Pudding - Heavy on the banana and was very sweet

First off, this is a very nice restaurant in a classic vintage house right in the middle of Breckenridge town. The atmosphere, service and creative menu are excellent. My only real issue is the menu is somewhat limited in variety, portions . Also, "creativity " can sometimes miss the target of quality. For example, the bison steak is unique but so tough as to almost be un-edible. The trout is excellent as well as some chef's specials but just be careful to make sure of what you are ordering.

Lobster rolls came with two. In front is 1/2 an order of the small plate lamb chops.

This was my favorite restaurant in Breck!!! First off the greeter/bar tender asked which of the3 floors we wanted and since we had a member of our group with a torn Achilles tendon, they seated us on the main floor so no more stairs for him to climb. Super nice! The out server, Ashley, was just as elite and made the dinner even better! She was cheerful, charming, beautiful, accommodating and attentive. Couldn't have asked for better! And it was her 3rd night! Then the food...OMG! We had lobster rolls that were amazing. Wasn't keen on the hot dog buns but they were good. Then sister and I shared the small plate lamb chops that were good. Other person had the bison tenderloin and he said it was great. I tasted the sauce and it was amazing. FYI: their medium rare would be rare in some restaurants. But the finale!!! Dessert was flourless chocolate cakes, 3 little hearts! With peanut butter mousse and fresh strawberries!!! I'm telling you, I'm goi g to be dreaming about this heavenly, decadent dessert for a month!!

Come check out TWIST! You'll love it!

So much fun! I've walked by this place for a decade, and finally asked in today. What a special night. Sat at the bar, happy hour apps were amazing, house Pinot was legit. Just an incredible night of great atmosphere, drinks, and food!

We had a great birthday celebration for a party of 15. It was nice working with Derrick with the pre-planning details. Derrick and our server Max were efficient, personable and always checking in. Our dinners were fabulous. We ordered various dishes and we enjoyed the amazing cuisine. We selected the smoked pork chops [our fav], almond seared trout, mahi mahi koi soi and crispy chicken. The side of Mac and cheese were great. All delightful and delicious.

I love that they are located in an old home, it made the first level feel very homey. We got pork chop, fish, and the steak. Overall, everyone was happy. You are paying a bit more since in the mountains but enjoyed my experience and would recommend.

When we arrived, there was a medical situation with a guest, and an ambulance came to assist. Obviously, that takes priority, and we were patient and understanding. However, after the situation cleared, we continued waiting another 20 minutes. During that time, several groups who arrived after us were seated first. When I politely asked the host about our status, I was told those groups were seated because they were smaller parties. That didn't appear to be accurate, and when I mentioned that, the response quickly became rude and dismissive. At that point, we decided there was no reason to stay and left for dinner elsewhere. The next day, we ate at Tin Plate Pizza--fantastic food and excellent service. Ironically, while walking past Bird and Cow afterward, we noticed their kitchen area through an open back door, and it did not appear clean or well-kept. In hindsight, we're glad things worked out the way they did--but overall, this was a frustrating experience driven by inaccurate wait times and poor customer service.

Walking in on a cold February day, the mood and ambiance were warm and inviting. The downstairs bar was lively, and the wood ceiling and decor definitely gave off a classic aged lodge feel. We were seated upstairs per our Yelp reservations. A collection of canteens hung on the wall, which sparked a fun conversation and history lesson for my twins. Since they're part of the CamelBak and Stanley cup generation, they hadn't seen anything like them before. My son was impressed by the size of the kids' burger, and the fries were great. The rest of us had the NY Strip. I'd say it was good, but not great--though I did appreciate the blackened seasoning and the chimichurri. The grilled asparagus, however, was simply fantastic. The showstopper was the upside-down apple pie with what seemed to be homemade vanilla ice cream. Both were generous portions and kindly comped by our server for my birthday. I ordered my standard Ranch Water, though it unfortunately didn't come in their traditional canteen cup. Overall, it's a great spot. I look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Colorado.

That night we were sat promptly when we arrived and the table was set up with menus and water waiting for us. For appetizer, we started off with the Parker House rolls with the house honey butter and OMG those rolls are so fluffy and delicious. Highly suggest getting the rolls if you like bread. The butter complimented the bread beautifully. I started off the night with the blackberry smash with tequila and it was delicious. Just the right combo of sweetness. For entree we went with their Pasta Rotante which for the night was a crazy flavor combo of tomato, pumpkin seeds, crunchy carrot strings, sage and chicken sausage. I'm probably missing other ingredients, but it was a dance of flavors on the tongue. Our waiter recommended pairing this with a glass of Pinot Noir and it was the perfect compliment.
