Came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon after eating at the pho ga place next door. We ordered a jasmine milk tea with boba and they were generous with the boba. However, the tea was too sweet for my liking and I couldn't really taste the sea cream in the tea. But the workers were really nice so I'll give them more stars. I'm a fan of: Mango tango Everything's peachy Razzy raspberry Ki ki kiwis Tropical extravaganza I like that fact that you can actually taste the tea In the drinks here and they are not too sweet by the added syrups. All teas are made to perfection here, and have their own signature topping for each drink. You can still add boba and other toppings as well. I like that they use lots of fruit bits, basil seeds, aloe, lychees, Jellies and many many more for toppings. Wasn't a fan of hazelnut milk tea. Their boba was good, but the hazelnut over powered the milk tea. They have potato twists!! Takes about 5 mins, I've tried the ghost pepper parmesan and it was pretty good! I came here a while ago when it first opened, I tried one of the specialty drink and it was just waaay too sweet. I figured because it just opened, they had to get used to things first. Upon entering inside, we were not greeted by the 2 young ladies working. They kept chatting it up so i thought ok, let me just grab a menu and see what I would like to order with my cousin. However, the people that came in after us were greeted with a smile and hello. It led me to feel uncomfortable because if you don't fit the bill of what they like, then don't expect to receive a warm greeting or a simple hello. Anyways, I ordered a green tea with sea salt and it was disappointing; the drink tasted nothing like green tea and the sea salt tasted like whip cream. My cousin ordered the lychee mojito drink and it was just ok. What really took the crown for our disappointment were the fries- the fries didn't feel fully cooked and tasted like they just microwaved them. We ended up throwing them away because it was just the worst fries that we have ever had. Bottom line, i will not be coming back to this establishment. Maybe we came on an off day? Too bad we couldn't experience what the raved reviews had mentioned. Found this place on yelp so we decided to check them out. Large parking lot for convenient parking. The store itself is pretty small with not a lot of seating but it was clean and bright. The staff was super helpful and nice. They helped to give us some recommendations. I got the passionate tea and my brother got the summer elixir; both teas were very refreshing and fruity. Decided to order some popcorn chicken. Wasn't sure on flavoring and the guy told us level 2 spice is a nice Asian level 2 spicy . We got the level 2 and left to eat our chicken in the car ride back home. Holy chit...that chicken was spicy...we were definitely throwing down our drinks as we were eating. It wasn't so spicy that you couldn't eat it but you def felt the burn. However, they are very generous with their portions and we were both full by the time we got home. I really like Twisteas! It's super close to my house as well, so very convenient! I ordered the Everything's Peachy and it is soo good! I have tried the Raspberryade and Hazelnut Milk Tea as well. They are all very tasty, but the Everything's Peachy is my favorite. I tried their Twisted Potato when they had their soft opening, and it was good.. but the potato was a little too soggy but still pretty good. But after a week, they made it so much better. The Ghost Pepper flavoring is not too spicy, and it tastes like Hot Cheetos, so I definitely recommend that flavor if you like Hot Cheetos. Oh wow! The very first sip of my Jasmine Green Tea I got a jolt - it was this good! I've been wanting to try this boba place for a while. And boy am I glad that I finally did! They have an interesting selection here, from the drinks to its snacks. They have a mojito inspired section that seems very good, but I almost always have to go with one of my top 3 go-to drinks - Jasmine Green. I think it shows that whoever's behind this place has put a lot of thought into making Twistea different than the many other boba places in SGV. Boba milk tea is a Taiwanese invention which has taken over the world (the parts I frequent anyway), and most places more often than not miss the importance of astringency in the tea. I mean, I love milk tea, but to me, the star is never the milk (not a fan of the milk/ cheese foam here). So this place really hit the mark for me - I can actually taste the tea! It's very well balanced, and even when the ice melts the flavor remains! Found this spot through Yelp, since this was the only location nearby at the time and it definitely didn't disappoint! We came in and the place was decked out with Halloween stuff, which was cool and festive. Not only was the service was friendly and quick, the drinks were good, tooo! We bought 2 drinks for a good price with the amount they gave us! I think they only had one size for all drinks, but it's not overwhelming with too much to drink or underwhelming with too little, lol. Just right! I got the Passionate-Tea, which was filled with some pineapple bits and lychee, and my boyfriend got the Strawberry Vortex filled with grass jelly and lychee bits too? I've only ever tried their fruit drinks but I've heard a lot of great things about the Hazelnut Milk Tea. There is very limited seating, so it's not a great place to study or chill. The times that I've been here, the parking has been fine. The staff is very patient and friendly. Whenever I can't decide what to get, I ask them for recommendations and they take the time to provide me with the popular drinks as well as their own favorites. Coming from San Francisco, I was in the area and decided to look up places for boba tea through yelp. Scrolled down the list and looked through some menus and decided that Tasteas had some pretty good reviews with new and unique drinks. When we first entered the store, it seemed clean and fun. They took the time to decorate the store with Halloween decorations. The menu was on electronic screens with Halloween decorations and they had little candy corns next to the items that were most popular. So cute! They do have a restroom but it was decorated with a door decoration covering saying Do Not Enter, but upon asking, we found out it was a restroom. Back to the drinks, I saw on the reviews that the sweetness was pretty good, but usually I tend to go with the 30% sweetness level. The other day I was at another boba place and asked for less sweet and it was still overly sweet, so in general I think my tastebuds just can't take too sweet compared to other people. So I decided to stick with my gut and ask for 25% sweet to avoid and overly sweet drink. The taste was pretty good and refreshing, but I think I could have went up on the sweetness level a little bit. Chatting with the owner, he commented that his drinks are not overly sweet even at 100% sweetness level. He suggested for next time, we can try it at 100% sweetness and he could dilute it if it's too sweet. Besides drinks, this place also offers twisted potatoes like ones you can get at state fairs. I love potatoes! Would have liked to try them, but I was full, coming here right after dinner. I would definitely come back to this place more often if only we lived in the area. New place next to my fav pho ga place. Loving mojitos in general, I tried their orange tiki. Even without the real happy juice I'm quite content. I got a little carried away with one drink and ordered a second thai tea twist to go. Whatever they put in there is perfect with their egg pudding and boba. How can I forget their interesting potato twist. Sour cream to be exact. Goes perfect with the cool drinks they serve. Not to mention their seasonal decor spices up the place. It's been way overdue for a good mix twisted tea with fruit drinks. I'm overly picky with my tea as I am very traditional fresh brewed tea over powder. The sweetness is perfect as I only got 30%. This place reminds me a lot of tastea. They have many fruity drinks and slushies and also a variety of seasoned fries. I like getting drinks with fresh jack fruit bits in them. I also tried the hazelnut milk tea which was delicious. they also have potato swirls which are so good but on the salty side. I also got the ghost pepper option which was 3 chili's but in reality it's only 1 chili worth and definitely not ghost pepper spice. The downside of this place is that there was only one worker when we came. I'm pretty sure she made all the food and drinks just by herself. I love this place! It's my favorite tea place and I go here all the time (I'm already am on my second stamp card!). The tea is really good, mixed like a cocktail so the ice melts a little and there isn't as much in the cup. There's also real fruit(!!!) and pre-made options which I prefer much more so I don't make a monster drink. My favorite is Breezy Lychee which I totally recommend as a first drink, I got one with my bf and he wanted to take it home with him lol The service is also really good, they make the tea very fast and the staff is very friendly! They let us play smash on their TV once! The only downside is there aren't tables. I would totally go here more if there were. The boba was smaller than the usual size but it was pretty soft and had a perfect amount of sweetness. I love supporting local small businesses and this ones doesn't disappoint! They truly care about product and they make sure you get it the way you like it. Their tea has fresh fruit and they use real taro in their taro beverages too! Came in for the Tropical Extravaganza with mango crystal boba and Rose Milk Tea with lychee crystal boba and asked for 25% sweet and less ice. Tropical cup had it done right, but not the rose cup it had almost full ice. They were nice enough to add more sweetness when as of them for it. Service was decent and cherry.
