This is right next to pho ga which is what I really came for. It's like a grab and go type of spot. Parking right outside. Ordered a col-can(e)no which is a sugar cane drink and inside there were these hard coconuts bits like super hard and some black stuff probably herbal things or grass jelly? Not sure since I kept drinking and spitting out the additives. Def didn't like any of the bits and pieces in there. The sugar cane drink would've been good just by itself. This place is called twisTEAS so I prob should've ordered a tea but oh wells.

    C1. Mango Tango Sooo good!

My sister-in-law helped me order Twisteas on Thursday 6/6/2024 for a fundraiser and boy was I so happy to try them out! We got the following drinks both with full sugar: Mango Tango: - Mango black with basil seeds, lychee bits and mango jelly - SoOoO good. The drink was so refreshing and thirst-quenching on a scorching day. I got this full sweet but the ice had melted by the time I got the drink and so the sweetness was perfect. I enjoyed eating the bits of basil seeds, lychee, and mango jelly - reminds me of tastea, but less over-poweringly sweet. So delicious, I highly recommend. Arctic Lychee: - Lychee and passion fruit green tea slush with lychee bits - My husband's drink. I enjoyed the blend of lychee and passion fruit flavors, which complimented each other well. I liked how the slush was a green tea base so you still got some sort of minor caffeine kick. This drink was also a nice pick-me-up on a hot day! I'll definitely be back to try out more drinks!

This is a cute little place that I stopped by whenever my mom gets her hair perm. The fries are so delish here. My daughter and I loved the seasoned fries. We usually get bbq and sour cream & chives. It's perfectly cooked fries and well seasoned. This time I also ordered Cane Solo and Milky Way. Cane Solo was too sweet and tastes a little artificial. My mom said the boba in the Milky Way was too hard. I guess I just stick to the seasoned fries.

    Cane-gerine

I used to come here solely for their potato twist sticks because it is a snack you can't find anywhere else. Their drink menu is big and very unique (drink styles that you will most certainly not find anywhere else). I will say their drinks are pretty expensive but it is unique and they include a variety of toppings and flavors per drink. It seemed that there was only one person working the entire place so it took a while to get our drink. In addition, my mom ordered the cane-gerine with no crystal boba and it says it on the sticker too, but the barista ended up putting it in either the way. We weren't too upset about it seeing how it was just him working alone. The place is kind of tiny so there isn't much seating. I would come back for their unique drink menu but definitely for their snacks, just disappointed it's so expensive!

I was pleasantly surprised by the tea menu at Twisteas. It's a small boba shop with an extensive menu that includes boba, sugar cane juice, and milk tea. I ordered the sugar cane drink hoping that it the same as a sugar cane juice I would get at Vietnamese vendors. However, I was pretty disappointed with the flavors. It's bland and not as sweet. I'm not sure if the drink was diluted down. The milk tea was flavorful, not too overwhelmingly sweet.

Very easy parking as the plaza is not too busy. Interior is nice and clean. If there's nobody in the front, just click the little bell to let them know you're ready to order. I tried the can(e)nergy and hazelnut milk tea. They were good and refreshing.

    A1. Plain 0l Milk Tea
    Elena C.

Ordered plain ol' milk tea, and it's consistent with it's namesake. Give a little bit time to your tea, don't drink it immediately because the boba is warm. If you hit it straight from the bottom, it's taste like chinese warm dessert. Wait, maybe that's the concept? Keeping it with the namesake?

Still my favorite boba place in the SGV. Can't beat their taste, value, and service. They also do many fundraisers with local schools, so it's obvious they care about the community too. Love small businesses like this, you really see their heart and soul. Also, their decorations are adorable and seasonal. Only con is they're a small place, and if it's during peak hours (after school) forget about finding seating. But if you go during off peak hours with 3 people or less, you're fine. It's not far from me, but it's also not really in an area I go often. If it was, I'd visit more frequently. Definitely go support them, they're great.

Crappy popcorn chicken not worth $8+
    Annie L.

Do not order the popcorn chicken!!!!! it will leave you unsatisfied and disappointed for paying for fried little itty bitty pieces that consists of about 5 pieces and the rest is like fried dough. We should have really listened to that one review on here. Embarrassing to even serve it. We ordered to go and did realize until we got back to the office and realized we got scammed. Drink was whatever. Got coconut, sugar cane and grass jelly. Lacked flavor.

My family LOVES this place. We have been going back time and time again because the drinks have not been disappointing. My favorite is the jasmine milk tea and the rose milk tea! My sister orders for me and we do either 25% or 50% sweet and it's so perfect because you can really taste the tea flavor! We made the mistake of not adjusting the sweetness level one time and it was just way too sweet for us. We also order my dad the fruity drinks like last time we ordered a kiwi flavor one and he loved it as well! All the drinks here so far are VERY good and I would go to as far to say this is my one of my top favorite boba places near my house! I would highly recommend to my friends and would time and time come back again.

Thank god we saw their sign on the back of the building while we were heading down the road cuz we were actually on our way to a different boba place. Glad we stopped here! Gotta say to start it off, the dude that worked the counter was super friendly, energetic, and helpful with our orders. My friend got their sugar cane drink and I took a sip of it. Nice, natural sweetness and it went perfectly well with the lychee flavor and bits inside. I got the: 1) Tropical Extravaganza: -Super, super refreshing. -You taste both the peach and pineapple tea (pineapple was slightly stronger in my opinion, but I liked it !). -The longan and jackfruit bits are tasty toppings that other boba places don't really offer. Went great with the smooth, sweetness of the grass jelly. -I know, bad, but they used really crushed, soft ice and it absorbed the flavor of the tea and I loved munching on it... -Drink really made me want to go to a beach to be quite honest. 2) Large Twisted Fries (Spicy BBQ flavor): -Hands down better than Potato Corner LOL. -The size of their large had way more fries than Potato Corner's Mega size. -They also actually push down the paper into the cup, giving you a massive amount of fries (that also spilled out into the bag). -Definitely worth it. -The spicy BBQ wasn't spicy at all, but was still a pleasant treat to have. GET THE STAMP CARD FOR THIS PLACE. I'm already pre-planning what I'm gonna have here the next time I go because they have so many unique drinks and toppings and it's all so so good. I don't usually get fruit flavored drinks at boba places, opting more for milk tea options since not many other places offer much uniqueness in terms of what they offer, but not Twisteas. They got so, so many different drinks to try. Sucks that they don't have those tornado potatoes any more because the ghost pepper flavor sounded really pog, but I'd still cop the fries here. Yummy snack that's worth it ! Can't wait until the next time I come back !

Only one homer working today for my six drinks
    Tim E.

There was one young man behind the counter and luckily the peeps before us were his friends. So they let us order first. My friend said this place is good for her family so I went to pickup something refreshing for da family. I got the large paradise which is a mixture of fruit flavors and finely chopped fruit bits. I for four of those and a matcha with pudding and a regular milk tea. They also have French fries so I picked up their bbq flavor which turned out okay. After I placed my order another two families came in to wait patiently for my order to get through. The place has some seats for waiting but it's not really a hangout spot. The strip mall is dead so plenty of parking. Probably best to place a phone order since they are understaffed.

Do you offer oat, almond or coconut milk?

Hi Samantha, We currently don't have milk alternatives. We do use lactose free milk in our drinks.

There's a review that says they don't sell potato twists anymore. Do they still offer them?

No they don't offer potato twists anymore only flavored French fries.

The coconut ice cream milk tea is a unique and delicious drink. Another standout drink is the matcha frostie with creme brulee. I have never had a bad drink from this place. The menu here is very huge, maybe even too huge. There are so many drinks you could possibly order, ranging from milk teas to fruit teas to slushies to coffees and a lot more. I think it would be better if they focused on a smaller menu with some really good specialty drinks. Nevertheless, I will miss this boba shop.

I ordered the Pandan Milk Drink ($5.99 - 50% Sweetness - Regular Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba…read more(additional 80 cents). It arrived sugary with a strong vanilla, nut flavor. Unfortunately, the Brown Sugar Boba tasted funky. Some pearls had the flavor of soap. "Gross!!" I arrived at YOTEA (Rosemead) on Monday (around 12:16PM). Parking is simple if familiar with the area. There's a rear parking garage for customers. Staff is unmemorable and awkward. When I mentioned they mixed old and new menus together which displayed incorrect prices, Staff seemed amused and let them stay mixed. Staff avoided customer interaction whenever possible. The drink took two minutes and 10 seconds. Quick time. The Pandan Milk Drink ($5.99 - 50% Sweetness - Regular Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 80 cents) tasted artificial. It had a strong "candy milk taste," and it glowed a neon green when stirred. The first sip was pleasant, but as I continued to drink, the taste became more off-putting. Next, the Brown Sugar Boba tasted inconsistent. Some tasted perfectly fine, but others had the flavor of dishwater and gloop. I was tempted to throw it into the garbage can. Concerning ambiance, YOTEA (Rosemead) has potential. Ignoring the cobweb underneath one table & the somewhat old furniture, there's utility. This location has about 10 electrical outlets. Wow! There's also customer internet with password; the internet information is taped onto the black register. There's also a customer gender neutral restroom. YOTEA (Rosemead) is also very spacious. The ceiling is very tall, and there's many spots to sit. There's about 16 tables!! If desperate for a study/work spot, this is a decent choice. There's also upbeat, smooth music. Overall, I had a disappointing experience at YOTEA (Rosemead). There's utility and potential, but this business feels old and unmaintained. Rather than clean, Staff just chattered amongst themselves. Any passion that rang within these walls dissipated a long time ago. Currently, YOTEA (Rosemead) is simply mediocre. 2.9 out of 5
