We decided to try a new place for brunch. Located on a corner in Bellmore, they are open til 3pm with street parking. We were seated immediately since we were a party of 2. There is table and booth seating available. They have an extensive menu with a coffee and drink bar menu. We had the chicken and waffles and The Godfather avocado toast which were very good. I finally got to try Twisted Fork Brunch Company for brunch with a girlfriend and baby. They don't take reservations so the wait was about 45 minutes or so. Luckily, it was a beautiful day and we strolled down and up Bedford with the baby carriage to get in our steps and enjoy the beautiful weather. There are plenty of little shops you can pop into and check out. For example: Soul Brew, Urban Farmhouse, etc. We ordered two Mimosa flights (your choice of 4 flavors), which were delightful! After that, we ordered the Berry Sensational Pancakes, BLAT Press, and Smash Burger (no bun). I was disappointed that they couldn't wrap the burger on a lettuce wrap, but instead offered a bed of lettuce to place the smash burger on. Additionally, the food arrived room temperature/cold as if it was sitting there before it was served. The server did check-in with us a few times and the ambiance was okay. The signs were cute but they need perhaps floral around it so it pops more against brick wall. Parmesan fries were not equally distributed, which my friend made a comment - who decides who gets more fries? Furthermore, there were no spicy drinks on the menu which was a letdown. I couldn't wait for this place to open so I could try it. We went the second week they opened. The service is great! My server was very nice and accommodating. I wanted the Twisted Benny but I don't eat pork or beef and I was able to substitute fried chicken for my meat. It was good but they were a little skimpy on the hollandaise sauce. However, when I asked if I could have some more, it was brought to me right away. The meal comes with a little mixed greens and home fried potatoes. What's unique about their home fried potatoes is that it's a mixture of white potatoes and sweet potatoes. This was the worst part of my meal because the potatoes were cold compared to everything else. Additionally, the white potatoes were cooked but the sweet potatoes were undercooked. I also had the mimosa flight. They were good but make sure you're sharing. It's too much for one person. My friend had the challah french toast and she really enjoyed it. She also had the s'mores martini which she said was absolutely delicious! I would definitely go back to try other dishes. I know they're new and working through some kinks. Been wanting to try the twisted fork. Went on a Saturday afternoon. Wait wasn't bad at all. Was told 25 mins but was seated a lot quicker. We started with the lemon ricotta donuts with the amazing jam. They are outstanding they also came out super fast. I went with the chicken and waffles which I enjoyed. 2.5 star experience. Came for brunch with friends for my birthday. Ordered the lemon ricotta donuts, they were dry, dense and bland, definitely needed the raspberry sauce. Crème brûlée French toast was okay, but way too thick so it doesn't have much of that French toast crispness & flavor, just a lot of bread. Steak hash was average, nothing special. Same with the crispy chicken sandwich, not particularly yummy. Tater tot waffle was the only entree that was tasty. After we paid our bill we were having some convo, using the restroom, and finishing our cocktails. There were still a couple tables that hadn't paid their checks yet so we didn't think anything of still being there. One staff member (not the waiter) came to our table and rudely told us we needed to leave. I've worked at a restaurant before, I understand wanting to finish up and leaving work but he was definitely very rude about it. i am always happy to have a new food establishment in the neighborhood . After today's brunch i'm thrilled ! Hard to believe it was the first week they opened . The service was on point , from the welcoming hostess , to our lovely waitress Maya , to the young man that bused the table . Maya was friendly and attentive . hostesses was absolutely rude when i called the facility and asked for five extra minutes to get to the place. there is no need for attitude. I wasn't flaking on the table. besides that the waitress was nice. I don't think she said her name but she didn't really linger which i appreciated. We had no problem getting a seat as it was 9:30 on a week day. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy, which he loved. I had the smoked gouda and ham frittata. I've been here a few times and even had a large group and the team was very accommodating! And the food was great the first time and it was still great the next time. Food was huh we had the French toast bites which was fine but would have wanted the fruit to be cut maybe bigger. Hard to grab the strawberries cause they cut too small. The steak skillet and doughnuts were a hit. Their avocado toast is a different story. Being a brunch place and having a separate section on the menu for the avocado toast I was really expecting something spectacular. Instead what I got was a soggy sloppy mess. They use over processed prepared avocado spread like the kind you get out of a tub from Costco. They put that disgusting green mush on a soggy limp piece of bread and call it a house special. If they can't source fresh avocados they should just take it off the menu. read more

Amazing! Twisted fork was so good. Gisselle P was the best waitress, always expecting our next need. I was with 2 kids (10, 4) and I felt perfectly fine and comfortable there with the kids. The Good: Maple Glazed Wings and pulled short rib Benedict were edible although not worth the price of admission. The bad: all other party members did not enjoy their meal. Very cute brunch spot with unique menu items. I went on a weekday so there was no wait. They don't take reservations. I enjoyed a Mimosa flight, shrimp and grits, banana pudding pancakes and an apple crumb waffle. (Pretty sure that's what it was) Everything was tasty. Nice place friendly staff. In my opinion not often garlic is mixed in with breakfast. Had the burrata omelet, prosciutto should always be sliced not in strips too tough to cut. The potatoes not cooked enough too much garlic (not for me) other was the blat press aka BLT should have fresh sliced avocado not brown spread bacon no flavor, get better charge a few bucks more. Why do these places need to pretend there in France keep the simple food simple a BLT on the multi bread would be awesome. I know people like the sweet stuff but some like an old fashioned breakfast.
