Just back from a late lunch after concert in Eisenhower Park. First time visit. Cute place, some booths and some tables. Bigger than I had imagined. Music was a little loud and a little cold so bring a sweater. The waitress gave us water as soon as we sat down and answered all our menu questions. Service was friendly and very fast. The amount of food was LARGE. Now for the food: I had the pancake tacos. I did not imagine the size of the tacos being the same size as my hand. The order had 3 tacos only one of which I was able to finish. The eggs were a fried scrambled egg with melted cheese, crumbled bacon and scallions. I could have used more scallions but the bacon was done right no fatty blobs. I was only able to finish one taco. They should allow you to choose the amount of tacos you want in your order so you don't waste food. My sister had the cheddar waffles with bacon on top. I tasted it and enjoyed it. My other sister had the chicken and waffles Belgian waffle, crispy honey rosemary marinated chicken, bourbon maple syrup. The rosemary flavor was subtle so don't be afraid to order it. We all had syrups on the side as we are butter people ourselves. No one was able to finish our meals. Loved that the check had the tip amounts at the bottom with the totals. It makes it easier to figure out everyone's share. The parking lot is down the street but not specifically for this restaurant. Look for the parking sign as there is a lot just before it that is only for other businesses. There is street parking also. read more

Had brunch at Twisted Fork this afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. We started with classic mimosas and an iced coffee flight and the French toast fondue. The French toast pieces were fried crispy and soft and fluffy inside. They were served with caramel and chocolate dipping sauces, strawberries and blueberries. An excellent appetizer that could have probably served as an entree. I added two eggs over medium to my peachy avocado toast (ciabatta toast with roasted peaches and fig balsamic) and was satisfied with this dish. I just wish the peaches would have shone through. Their flavor was drowned out by the avocado and balsamic. Our brunch was a bit pricey, coming in at $116 for 2 people (not including tip), but the food was all prepared well and we enjoyed the meal. I really wanted to like this place. I love Bedford and all the businesses that make the town special and lively. I know that they've rebranded and changed their model in the last few years, but I feel like it's very similar to the prior restaurant with "brunch" added to it. My family stopped in for breakfast on Christmas Eve (as we've done all over the island for years prior to having kids) and were early enough that we were seated immediately. Everyone was extremely friendly for having to work on Christmas Eve, and we were able to order with no wait. Food came out quick and HOT. Pretzel BEC and Steak Hash - food was good, but wasn't blown away by anything, especially for the price we paid. We didn't get any of the specials, but as we were walking out saw a number of people who had ordered them and they looked really good. Place was decorated for the holidays, which I really enjoyed. Might give it a chance in the future, but definitely a one stop shop for me. Very glad to know they're doing well (there's always a wait) read more

I was really excited to try this new brunch spot in Bellmore. Unfortunately I was a little underwhelmed. The menu had a wide selection of brunch offerings. We tried the Apple Smoked Gouda Frittata with home fries which was not "loaded" with sautéed apples, ham and scallions as the menu claimed. It was good but small and lacking the filling promised. The home fries were good but the portion was small. The Godfather Avocado Toast was ok but nothing special. We also had the Expresso Martini flight. I was very excited to try this but unfortunately all four tasted exactly the same with the exception of the garnish which consisted of a piece of caramel, three coffee beans, chocolate shavings and three mini marshmallows with a graham cracker rim. The best way for me to describe this place?... It's "fine". Went on a Wednesday morning and was seated right away. The French vanilla latte was delicious (I read some complaints about others receiving cold coffee but this was very hot), and my wife enjoyed her cinnamon roll latte. The food though was just ok. I got the steak hash and the portion was kinda small, with not a lot of steak. Also, don't advertise your dish as sweet potato hash when it's only about 40% sweet potatoes and the rest white. Also, I found it funny that another reviewer mentioned getting yelled at for bringing in coffee and now there's a sign on the door saying "no outside beverages"... If I'm told I have to wait 40 minutes to be seated for breakfast and you don't have a way for me to purchase coffee while I wait, I'm going to find a cup somewhere and you'll be lucky if I come back. read more

Heard the food was amazing. Called the night before to secure a spot on Saturday for a party of 8. I left a note with the hostess and was informed to call a few hours before day of. I did call at 10:40am day of and was told to call 30 minutes (12pm) before for a more accurate wait time. I then called 30 minutes before and was asked am I on the waitlist. I wish I was told about that sooner since as it's not easy to move a party of 8 to another place. I think it's misleading and harmful to put that on the website to call ahead and not honor it. They have an extensive menu which means you can definitely find something for everyone to eat. However, the food was okay. We were told the wait was 40 mins, so went to a nearby place to grab a coffee. Got back and it turned out the wait was only about 20 mins, at which point we were told by the owner or manager that no outside beverages were allowed and had to throw them out. Enjoyed a nice breakfast on a snowy Friday morning at the Twisted Fork. Shared the breakfast flatbread with my friend. It was nice and crispy with the perfect ratio of eggs and cheese but could have used a few extra tomatoes. We also shared the burrata avocado toast. The avocado was nice and creamy as was the burrata. Definitely could have used some more balsamic drizzle for my taste. My wife and I come to the twisted Fork all the time. The breakfast is amazing. I get the crème brûlée French toast. That's the best thing I've ever tasted in my life not kidding. My wife gets the meat lovers omelette. I don't know whatever they do in the back is amazing And what I love a lot is the owners are always around and they're on top of everything. I can never get enough of this place! I am obsessed with their steak and egg skillet and the cheddar biscuit that comes with the Benedict's are drooool worthy. The staff is so nice and efficient and serve me some of the best drinks I've had for a brunch (the salted caramel White Russian being my favorite) The noise level is perfect- I am able to hold a conversation without any trouble and the owner had come up to us to make sure our meal was perfect. Upon arrival it was easy to find the location and it conveniently had a parking lot accessible about a block down. You can add yourself to the waitlist online ahead of time, and I appreciate that it tells you how many parties are before you, total parties, and the approximate wait time. I asked for a drink that wasn't on the menu and she volunteered to make it for me. As soon as there were empty dirty plates on our table, there was someone there to pick it up. And the food?!?! So good. I consider myself a bit of a picky eater and there's usually only one thing on a menu that I'm interested in, here, there was so much that I could eat and that I wanted to eat. I settled for the seasonal crispy chicken avocado toast (I'm not sure the exact name) and I'm drooling even thinking about it, the blend of flavors really satisfied my taste buds. The person I dined with ordered the (again not sure of name) chocolate brownie pancakes and again, sooooo good. I never thought to put brownies in pancakes. We shared French toast dippers as an appetizer and it was well made, a little crunch on the outside, yummy on the inside, even the fruit on the plate was good, not wilted and sweet. I came in with a party of 6 and about 45 minutes later the busser was taking plates and cups from the table that we were not finished with and he went so fast we couldn't tell him to stop. He proceeded to wipe down the table and reset it with us still sitting there and it hadn't even been an hr. The server never said anything about needing the table. The anticipated opening of Twisted Fork brunch Company did not disappoint. This was their first few days of opening so extra patience were required lol. I'm personal friends with the owners and still waited an hour to be seated and it was absolutely understandable after seeing a line out the door. Reservations will be seated ahead of a walk in so be aware of this. You don't want to be misled thinking you're being seated for special preferential treatment when having a reservation. I have to say my hour wait was totally worth the wait. We ordered French toast, avocado toast with poached eggs, Burrata omelette with prosciutto and a side of sausage. Went to this restaurant with some friends during the week around lunch time. The inside was casual. Our waiter was very attentive and bubbly. She constantly checked in on us. We had French toast fondue to start. This was bite sized nicely crisped bread sprinkled with powdered sugar and fruits with vanilla and chocolate sauce on the side. This dish was delicious. It could honestly just be a meal for one or is a nice shareable plate. My friends had shrimp and grits and Florentine Benny. They enjoyed it. I had the Clucky stack-a grilled chicken sandwich with avocado spread, Lettuce, tomato, pickles and aoili. Great sandwich with delicious crispy fries. The fries portion was enough for 2 people.
