To begin with, I stated that I had diet issues. I rested a veggie black bean burger and side salad, I explained that I couldn't have vinegar or lemon or too much fat.... i asked if the cashier could ask about oil available....I got a half cooked burger and vinaigrette dressing. When I questioned it, I was told that's the dressing that comes with that.... I reminded him that he said he'd ask... he said oh ok and then brings me a bottle of "the oil we use in the kitchen... so use it so I can take it back!' After tasting the burger, i'm finding is super emotional and the uncooked, I took it back to the counter and asked them to switch my mail over to pasta with marinara sauce and Alfredo sauce. Several minutes later I was presented a container of pasta with pesto sauce. When I tried to explain to the young man that Salaz passed out a nightmare and Aaron Alfredo he said I'm sorry yes it is and repeatedly said no it isn't too late she said that's what it is I don't know what to tell you. I finally said I have an of you give me my money back before I get mad ... A few minutes later another employee came in with a bowl full of pasta and Alfredo sauce, no marinara. Even though the younger guy has explained to me that they can't put two sauces this guy told me the sauce was heated up fresh for me or whatever and so he was trying to make me happy with the dish he said third Times a charm! Actually third time's a charm I couldn't eat the pasta because I have to watch fat so I got to eat half of what I wanted. I left still hungry and totally irritated. 3 stars because my boyfriend absolutely LOVED the Twisted Noodle bowl. Unfortunately I ordered the Asian Noodle Bowl and it was awful. Very bland other than being candy-like-sweet with bits of garlic which I didn't think paired well with the meal. It was my bad for not asking for the full list of ingredients because I cant have garlic due to a finicky belly, but thought this dish would be safe because on the menu it lists "sesame ginger sauce". I ended up having to throw away the entire bowl after waiting 20 min for it to be ready (given there was an entire volleyball team in line ahead of me), & once I got back to Dixie convention center where my boyfriend is working. Overall the restaurant is cute and homey, staff is very friendly, and I'm sure some other dishes are delicious but not sure they would fit my restricted diet. read more

Things were off to such a great start at this place. The fountain sodas were fantastic! Some of the best root beer I've ever had, and the other creative flavors were delicious, too. The kid's meals were great--hearty portions, and the penne marinara was quite tasty. The spinach and sausage pasta was really good, too. BUT, I ordered the lunch special, a Southwest Falafel Wrap, and the falafel was terrible. Cooked well on the outside, but gummy on the inside. A very unappetizing texture. When we asked a staff member about it, she said it was supposed to be doughy on the inside. I can't imagine that texture being intentional. When I removed the falafel, the veggies and sauces made a pretty good wrap on their own. I'd be willing to try other dishes based on how good everything else was, but the falafel shouldn't be on the menu. read more

Andy & I have been here several times, gotten something different each time, and have never been disappointed. All the ingredients are so fresh & tasty and I loooove their sauces. Today I tried one of their wraps for the first time and it was phenomenal! I got the Fit Wrap on a gluten-free wrap. It was stuffed and filled to the brim with juicy marinated chicken, peppers, zucchini, quinoa, brown rice, and had just the right amount of greens and feta. I'm super picky about feta because I don't like the 'funk' but this was really good. The wrap held up ok and had nice flavor & texture as well. Their dishes also come with a side so I got the salad with jalapeno ranch dressing. Mmmmmm. Oh my gosh so much food Andy got the mushroom bacon burger but subbed cheddar cheese for the swiss and said that was really yummy too. It's awesome you can choose chili for the side so he got that. Perfect level of spice and lots of yummy ground Chicken. Love this place! So many good options, especially for gluten free people. I've had the gluten free pasta here too and that's also good. I am vegan. Much of the food can be prepared vegan but you have to order an item w/a meat name and the ask for tofu instead. I love the concept. An entirely better way of doing their menu could be all ingredients are offered independently and you get 6-7 ingredients for free (sauce/dressing note included). For example, salads can not currenly add quinoa rice mix. Why not? Should be able to pay $1 extra for quinoa rice on a salad. Or instead of saying "Ahi Salad" with tofu instead of Ahi, why not have the salad "with your choice of protein?" Overall, good. But if ingredients could be individually chosen, it would be better. For example, Teriyaki Bowl - make it vegan- add Avocado (not an option). I would LOVE to help re-write this menu. Thanks. read more

We're from out of state and our hotel concierge recommended Twisted noodle cafe, and we're glad she did. Doesn't matter if you are vegan or not you can great food here! I could eat here everyday. It's that good. They have nice variety on the menu: sandwiches, salads, noodle bowls, flatbreads, tacos. There are daily specials which are always something cool. The soups taste like someone just picked the produce from a garden in the back. The food is healthy, fresh, with lovely presentation. But mostly importantly it is super yummy!! Warning: they are not fooling around with their buffalo chicken wrap. Prepare for fire. Fortunately they have infused waters on the counter and a Stubborn Soda fountain (world's best no HFCS, no artificial anything sodas) and several other drink choices to quench the flames. Before you even get in the door you will smell a heavenly teriyaki-esque aroma that makes you want to groan. (Okay maybe that's just me.) But it's awesome and that is their noodle bowl. Trust your instincts and order one.) This is getting long and I haven't even gotten to the dessert counter! So in summary: go there now, it's fantastic. PS. If I could suggest one improvement it would be to have some of that good brewed ice tea in a big ol' vat to refill like soda. Currently you just buy one little cup of tea. Best Buffalo chicken sandwich!! I love this place anyway, but I always get the quinoa bowls which are also really tasty. I have been here 2 times--1st time I asked for a noodle bowl with no meat. It came out with meat, and I didn't want to bother the staff so I picked it out. 2nd time I ordered the same bowl, specified no meat, and got meat and the wrong noodle bowl. There was a lot of meat this time so I asked if they could remake it for me with the right noodle bowl this time. Got the right noodle bowl, still meat. After asking for none 3 times. They don't listen to your requests. You have to repeat it multiple times, maybe even have them read back your order. The food is great, tastes phenomenal--attentiveness to detail and requests are some of the worst I've come across. After a bit of debate over where to have lunch after being on a 16+ hour international flight, my Aunty chose The Twisted Noodle over several other options... and on my recommendation! Now, the "Twisted Noodle", their signature dish is AWESOME! Always delicious. Always well-made. Always always fabulous! I HIGHLY recommend it! However... the Asian Noodle Bowl was another matter altogether. The menu says it's made with sesame ginger sauce, but we sure didn't taste it. When we asked the staff, we were told that it was made with teriyaki sauce. What happened to the sesame ginger sauce? And why didn't it taste Asian at all? Well, it was so bland and boring that she had a few bites and refused to eat anymore. Wanting to make sure she had a positive experience, I informed the staff of the dish's mediocrity, that we didn't eat it, and returned it to the order-counter. Well, I foolishly hoped we'd be taken care of.. or at the very least our displeasure actually acknowledged, but all we got was "Oh sorry." That's it. She and I ended up sharing my bowl of Twisted Noodle, which she agreed was delightful... but didn't want to return due to questionable service. Now, I'll most likely come back for their signature dish, but I won't take my out-of-town visitors anymore. How embarrassing for me, after I spent so much time telling her about their amazing food! Mushy food, messed up our order & did not receive what we saw on the menu. Ordered the teriyaki noodle bowl which was alright and the green chili bacon power bowl. Our order came out and we received a pasta dish instead of the power bowl so we sent it back. Looking back at it now we should've kept the pasta cause it looked way more appetizing. DO NOT order the green chili bacon power bowl unless you like eating sloppy mush. It has to be the most disgusting thing I've ever had at a restaurant. The quinoa was smothered with so much cheese and cream that I could hardly eat it, so much for being a healthy restaurant. It didn't even come with some of the ingredients it mentioned on their menu! No guacamole, no tomatoes...Maybe they were out of these ingredients, I get it, but they could've told us so we could order something else! We've come here in the past when the owner was present & our food was great, Not this Time, We ordered Mac & Cheese & Beef Chili with Bread sticks. They put SO Much Salt in Our Food we couldn't get it down! The Chili tasted like Someone watered down the Chili & added spices to it, it was not hot, the Lady at the Counter was a new face as well & very loud , she didn't take the time to explain anything to Us, but screamed out to Us to look over the menu's. Do not get a burger here. My husband ordered the bacon swiss mushroom beef burger and it was a huge disappointment. We don't understand how you can make bacon and swiss anything not taste good but they managed. The burger was dry and flavorless. He got it with a side of turkey chili and that was not good either. The shining moments in the meal was: 1) My dish, the Twisted noodle pasta (pesto, artichoke hearts, and sundried tomatoes). It was delicious and full of flavor. I was worried the portion size was not going to be ample enough but it totally was. I could totally go back for another bowl of it. 2) My husband's soda. They had a fun collection of soft drinks and apparently free refills. (Or so a friend told us.) All in all, half the food was good and the other half wasn't. Really nice menu which makes healthy food sound interesting. Only thing is, it's not quite as healthy (nor quite as creative) as it could be. Lots of times there is gluten, dairy and suga r where it would not be hard to omit it or reduce it. And some dishes like pasta with Alfredo sauce are anything but healthy, even with the whole wheat pasta option. Also fried wontons and similar toppings sometimes make the dish. But still a solid choice for healthy food on the go, or when dining with less healthy eaters, if you aren't afraid to make a modification or two. read more
