This place is highly rated for a reason. The menu is small but hits on everything. Traditional American breakfast or NOLA breakfast... you get both here. Especially like that Two Chicks is literally around the corner from the NOPSI. The food here tastes better and offers a more filling menu for the morning after a night on Bourbon. I actually ate here nearly every morning of my stay in NOLA. Thank me later

This is a solid breakfast spot that does their own Cajun twist on breakfast classics! Starting with the atmosphere, it is cozy and eclectic. Many plants, fun lighting, and art. The house-made drinks were also pretty nice. You can tell they were more than just syrup thrown in lemonade or sweet tea. The breakfast poboy is very filling and meaty! It was delicious. The under the sea omelette was stuffed with lots of seafood and the shrimps in it were a good size. It was veggie heavy with lots of bell peppers. The pancakes were okay, not the best nor worst, a bit dense. Service was just fine, not good nor bad.

Great service they said 20 minute wait but they called us in about 14 minutes Sunday at 1pm. I order potato bowl scrambled with add of andouille extra charge for meat addon. My wife got build your own omelet. We also got Bloody Marys they were very flavorful with pickle okra and green beans. Potato bowl was delicious and eggs were cooked perfect a little creamy. The Gruyère cheese was at the bottom which was weird I have not seen cheese at the bottom of a dish, the food was flavorful and we will be back. Depending on your preference the roasted potatoes are larger than I prefer or than I have seen on many menus, they were good, but it made me full which allowed for taking leftovers home for breakfast tomorrow. Thanks for new and wonderful food experience. The decor and ambiance was nice and fun.

I loved this place. Now there was definitely a wait of over 30 minutes but the food was so good and the service was excellent

What a little gem we found in the CBD. The service we received was great. Our servers made great recommendations and my coffee cup was never empty. The decor is super fun and unique. The food was some of the best breakfast food I have had (in New Orleans or otherwise). The only thing I was disappointed about was that I didn't find this place until the day before I was leaving so I only got to eat here twice.

We were actually referred to this spot very last minute before our flight back home. Definitely one of the best places we ate at the whole trip. The service was good, restaurant was clean and food was delicious. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and so good. The French toast and scrambled eggs were great and the smoked turkey was good. The grits were nice and smooth. Food was definitely top 2.

Well Bea was our server. The food was absolutely delicious and warm and Comfort Inn and southern and our waitress Bea was lovely and attentive the kind of person that doesn't miss a beat and has amazing people and service skills. We enjoyed the food and the service. The restaurant itself is small yet warm. It's like a modern comfort. I really liked how all of the mugs were different.. very clean atmosphere

This restaurant was very close to the hotel we were staying at , and every morning there was a long line outside of the restaurant. We waited about 30 min to get seated, and had to wait quite awhile for the food to come out - hence the one star deduction. We started with the iron chick juice and strawberry banana smoothie, don't really think it was worth the price though. I ordered the bbq shrimp grits and my husband ordered the crab cake Benedict. Everything was delicious! Would highly recommend if you have time to spare!

Two Chicks is Cafe if your classic American diner! The atmosphere is light and quirky. All of the servers were so sweet and attentive. My coffee cup was never less than half full and for a busy morning, that was pretty impressive. Now the food - my freaking goodness! It was SO good. Maybe one of the best pancakes I have ever had! I also got the crab cake Benedict, and I'm so sad I can't have that at least once a week! We were in town for a work trip and new we had to add this cafe to our list to check out. So glad we checked it out! For the amount of the food, the prices, and the service, I have absolutely zero complaints.

Everything was great. From the service to the food. I legit ate all of my food. Enjoyed the bbq shrimp and grits, seafood omelette, and French toast. The banana fosters crepe was bomb, honestly probably best crepe I've ever had. Nothing beats the fresh squeezed orange juice! This is a lowkey, must add brunch/ breakfast spot. They also serve alcohol.

Great location in the CBD of downtown New Orleans. Street parking is avaliable with plenty of nearby self-parking garages. I love all their food items that I have thus far but I am obsessed with the Green Blast! Its the ginger for me! Warm and welcoming staff.

Delicious! We enjoyed our morning at two chicks. Food and service were lovely French toast was really good.

The place was packed so there was a wait to get a table. We got a booth after waiting for maybe 20-25 minutes. It was worth the wait. If you like grits definitely order you some. The smoothie with beets in it is good. The lemonade with the cucumber in it was good. You can get refills on the lemonade but not on sodas. The sodas are canned. I ordered the grits bowl and I had mine loaded. I had the grits bowl with sausage and seafood (crab and shrimp) and it was good. They need to have it on the menu loaded grits bowl. The portion was enough for 3 meals or more for me. So I left with a doggy bag. I also wanted my lemonade to go and they did. I really like the meal.

There was a line when we arrived, but we liked how the host walked the line asking how many people in your party in case they were able to seat people regardless of your position in line. We were seated pretty quickly, our server was great. She came over with a big smile, very mild mannered, but attentive. We ordered our meals, which came out quickly. Omelet for my husband, grits bowl for me. The grits have smoked gouda. The grits bowl is if you have a big appetite because it is big! My husband enjoyed his shrimp and crab Omelet, but he did mention that he couldn't really taste or see much crab, but it was tasty. The grits bowl has a lot of sautéed veggies so if that's not your thing say no veggies or light veggies. I had one of the fresh juices, the Ginger Sun, I believe that's the name. Oh my!!! It was so good and honestly I wasn't feeling my best when I arrived and after drinking the juice my body really started feeling better. I wasn't able to eat all my food, but I can say that juice was the highlight of it for me. The restaurant was clean and I love the long bench with the pillows that line the wall. Also, they have 2 sides, the other side is for to go I believe and its for tacos/quesadillas, etc...

Both were outstanding. The Bananas Foster French Toast was rich, indulgent, and packed with flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet. The bananas and sauce were the perfect complement to the French toast, making it feel like a New Orleans dessert and breakfast all in one. The Boudin Breakfast Biscuit was equally impressive. The biscuit was fresh and flaky, and the boudin added a delicious Cajun flavor that set it apart from a typical breakfast sausage. Every bite was savory, satisfying, and uniquely Louisiana. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and it's easy to see why Surrey's has such a loyal following. If you're visiting New Orleans and looking for a memorable breakfast, put this place on your list. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

In this case I bought discounted fruit, juice, and overnight oats from Sprouts at the end of their business day. This was a welcome treat for a hot April day in New Orleans, and a welcome detox! I also ordered food to-go - a vegan breakfast wrap ($10) which the young chap was happy to make even though it was less than 10 min before closing. I was impressed with this breakfast wrap (black beans, Just vegan egg, spinach, and veggies) and would come again for the food. And the fruit too, for sure, especially as it's more-or-less guilt free (organic fruit in returnable containers). I'm also rating Sprouts Organic Café 5 out of 5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact, based on the following: * Everything is vegan, avoiding the food product that poses the biggest threats to our planet. * Uses organic ingredients and ethical vegan suppliers like Just egg. * Containers can be brought back to the store for re-use.
