Found this place a couple weeks ago while in town for the rib cook off. My wife and I both had the eggs Benedict. I can't remember ever eating better Bennie's but what really kicked it was those potato's. Home fries I think they were called but not really fries but were BOMB. That breakfast was so good I'm not sure we'll order anything else when we make it back. Good job to those two chicks. read more

Wow wow wow!!! This is a true GEM!!! I'm from LA and didn't realize Reno was capable of such epic proportions. The food here is incomparable- "Fresh AF" is their motto for a good reason!!! I ordered the veggie scramble and my friend ordered the breakfast poutine. Both insane. The orange juice? Freshly squeezed! I was in heaven. Our waitress Veronica was very kind and accommodating with a pleasing personality. The decor is adorable AND they donate to charity and support local farms!!! Took my fiancé and doggo out for my pups 1st birthday. Sat outside and the staff was very accommodating. They even brought a water bowl for my pup. Great staff. Food is always on point. Went for the ultimelt, the O.G. Just as magical as ever. No cap! Been eating these sandwiches since the gourmelt days, and the quality has never gone down. Best grilled cheese I've had. This is the original two chicks location. I've been here plenty of times and it is always excellent! The staff is so friendly and attentive. Their service is quick and the food is always amazing. My favorite is the yellow chick skillet -- it is so delicious! I will warn you though, depending on the day, sometimes the jalapeños are super spicy or very mild. Their butter they make for the toast is delectable - I would buy a tub of it if they sold it! On weekends, this location can get pretty busy and parking is sometimes tricky to find just due to the location. read more

A fabulous, consistent, amazing staple of Reno eating. I genuinely do think that Two Chicks is one of the best brunch experiences you can have in Nevada. The food is amazing, with fair portions, good prices, and with a cafe vibe that is normally only found in older diners with seasoned guests and atmospheres. staff are always fast, they're always kind, and I've never had an issue with dietary restrictions, going out with people who have Celiac or other issues. can't really recommend a breakfast place more. read more

We tired this place based on Yelps recommendations, and I'm happy to report it doesn't send us astray! The food was great! I had an omelette with chorizo, and the only complaint I could mentioned was it was dry/cooked hard, but the hash browns were great and the mango butter for the toast was to die for. I was googling how to get it at home before we left. My gf has the biscuits and gravy and that was also amazing. The staff was super attentive and quick, even with the place full. And at the end, the bill was actually reasonable. Not to mention the cool tshirts on the wall you can get and the fund raising they do. We'll totally be back! read more

Service was quick and the fresh grapefruit juice was great. Ordered the house original Benedict, (Bene on parm bread sprinkled with bacon) and it was brought out fast and well plated. Hashbrowns were really good and everything was well cooked. I found the parm bread made the meal far too salty, but after I took the bread out and used the potatoes instead it was quite nice. I would go back, I'm sure the other Benedict's are terrific. read more

We loved our breakfast at Two Chicks! I'm vegan and he's an omnivore so it can often be a challenge to find something that satisfies both of us. I had the vegan skillet with the vegan sausage and oh my! the portion was large! All the veggies and potatoes and the vegan sausage mixed in (not added on top like an afterthought). He had the biscuits & gravy and says it was delicious! He says he would go back there anytime and have it again (and again and again)! We had a 'drink' each, he had a Modelo and I had a Tahoe Navel, the perfect pre-noon cocktail. It has juice and stuff My only comment is that the coffee could have been warmer. It seemed like maybe the pot has been off the burner for a while when our cups were poured. Not a deal breaker and was still the caffeine we needed! read more

Really enjoyed this spot! We were visiting Reno for the weekend and stopped by here before we left to get back home. We stopped in around 8ish on a Sunday. The parking lot was almost full (there is only about 10 spaces for the little shopping area where Two Chicks is located). There is additional parking on the street nearby. When we got there, it wasn't busy at all. We were quickly seated. We ordered 2 coffees and I got the half traditional eggs bene and the caprese bene with the hashbrowns. My husband ordered the biscuit and gravy combo. My benes came out with the sweet potatoes instead of the hashbrowns, but they quickly got me the hashbrowns as I had ordered. The food was really good. The caprese bene was to die for. My husband liked the biscuits and gravy. The coffee was good too. I did try the sweet potatoes that came with my order and I wasn't really a fan, but I didn't originally order them, so no complaints there - that just isn't my type of potato with breakfast. We will definitely be back if we're ever in the area again. read more

Our new favorite breakfast place. Superb coffee and delicious choices on the menu. A trendy place in mid town Reno enjoying a renaissance of new businesses. Seems to always be busy with good mix of patrons from locals, health workers and university students. Quick to seat you with fast friendly service every time we've been there. Street parking available if the small lot out front is full. Definitely a must if you are in the neighborhood or new to the area. Personally my fave breakfast place in Reno! The food is great, the service is great, the ambience for breakfast is great. Should I go on? The fresh juice is great. The Bloody Mary is great. Enjoy your morning here =) Chicken fried steak- My husband ordered this and he says the gravy's consistency is perfectly thick. The meat is well seasoned and well battered. The cream cheese texturing makes it a little weird if you are not expecting it. But good flavor. We both loved the potatoes that came with it had a little crisp one the outside and they we're NOT mushy on the inside. Still a slight firmness inside. Overall, very good. Server was amazing AGAIN. (different server than last time so this shows a consistancy of good servers) very happy, helpful, and positive mood. I'll be making another visit here for sure!

Came back to Two Chicks (TC) with co-workers. I followed lead today and ordered Eggs Benedict, and I have to say WELL DONE! Tasty Egg Benedict, a great thick slice of ham, a perfectly poached eggs, and great sauce. The only thing on my plate that was not great was the sweet potato hash. It really needed another 2-3 minutes of cooking time, not much color on the potatoes, over half the hash was undercooked. I did get a half order of biscuits and gravy, that was excellent, gravy was perfectly seasoned, and lots of sausage bits in there. I didn't get coffee, as one of my pet peeves is ordering coffee and then only get 1-2 cups, I would highly consider getting coffee here in the future as they SERVERS were on it. I would have to say one of the best service experiences I have seen. The team all works together, and it feels like a quality production. Another thing when you are larger party, and everyone is dining as individuals, I remember it was a ton of work, but they don't even bat an eye here, either technology has improved, or they are really great at their job, or BOTH! Either way, it's a not huge portions, hence why I got two dishes, but when you get a dish, the memory/flavor of the dish(es) stays with you, with pricing that is spot on, and constantly receiving impeccable service, that's a 5 Star Worthy Experience in my Book - Any Day! =) read more

Our family visited this restaurant for breakfast/brunch, hoping for a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, our visit was marred by an incident that left us disappointed. Our son accidentally spilled his orange juice, and while we understand accidents happen, we were surprised to find that we were charged for a replacement without being offered a courtesy refill, which is common practice at many other establishments. Additionally, we found the pricing policy regarding drinks to be misleading. Ordering from the kids' menu, we assumed that when it stated "milk and juice extra," it meant we would be charged an additional fee, not the full price. Furthermore, the lack of displayed prices for drinks added to the confusion. When we attempted to address these concerns with the manager, we were met with dismissiveness and were essentially told that this was just how things were done at this restaurant. This lack of understanding and customer service was disappointing, especially considering that the food itself was quite good. While the quality of the food was fine, the deceptive pricing practices and poor customer service overshadowed our experience. Regrettably, we will not be returning to this establishment. Thankfully, there are numerous other breakfast options in Reno that are good and still uphold more transparent and customer-friendly practices. read more

Last week, my family and I embarked on a road trip and needed a hearty breakfast to fuel our day's adventures. After researching the best breakfast spots, "2 Chicks" came up as a top result, and it did not disappoint! The restaurant was bustling, and though our kids were understandably restless on a family vacation, the service helped keep the day stress-free. We ordered the sourdough pancakes, bacon, and an omelet that I built from scratch, while my wife and I enjoyed a delicious mimosa and the kids sipped on hot cocoa. The eggs were fluffy and the bacon was cooked to perfection. Our server, Alyssa, truly made our experience memorable.
