Came here on a week night around 7:30/8:00pm to grab a bite to eat. I was asked to pick a table & was seated right away. It was not packed; there was a bunch of seating options. There was 2 guys doing live music which was really nice & they were funny. The food was ehh.. it's such a great location & for the food not to be as good as I would think is disappointing, especially with the menu prices in mind. I had the Buffalo mild chicken wings which comes with blue cheese or ranch & celery, (does not come with a side.) The wings were just OK. The celery was disappointing - please refer to my picture attached to this review. I ordered a side of fries which was forgotten about so I had to remind the waiter. They took so long to make them that we had fries for dessert lol buttttt the restaurant did say the fries were on the house for the inconvenience which was very nice. Overall.. I would come back here again to give this place another shot. Idk if I would recommend it or not. I honestly felt like I could've went to Duffy's & spent the same amount of money for possibly better food.. Idk go try it for yourself! This is a cute place. Our waitress seems to have been there since it opened, but she was diligent and kept coming back to our table to bring us things she had missed. The food was tasty, the bartender was terrific. It was a very nice group of people. It's right on the strip so there's some good people watching. The place inside was just very very dark and in the corner there were a lot of flies where we were sitting. It looks haphazardly put together with random chairs and boxes pushed to the wall. So the ambiance is definitely not great, but the food and drinks make up for that. Plus it's a beach bar, So we weren't looking for a five star. You can sit outside, but be careful of how hot those chairs get! You can sit at the bar, or you can sit up booths or tables. read more

A group of girlfriends and I got together for a much needed night out while sipping on some good cocktails and having delicious food. They do take reservations and it might be smart to do so depending on the day and time. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and it's convenient to take a walk to the beach before or after the visit. I can only speak for a revelry night visit and I'm sure it's a beautiful view under the sun as well. Get the shipwreck cocktail. It will definitely put you in relaxation mode and make you feel like you're on a cruise. The drink is combined with coconut rum, pineapple juice, brandy, orange juice, and grenadine. The only thing is missing from it is an umbrella ;) The French dip sandwich was cooked perfectly with prime rib slices with provolone cheese and au jus. The loaded baked potato was an optional side I decided to pair with the sandwich and it was a great combination. Our waitress was so friendly and sweet. She made us feel right at home and didn't rush us out of there when we were done. We had a heater above our table that was fine for a while, but we asked that it got turned off since it actually got too hot. Always a nice place to go to coming from the beach in Singer Island. Located at the end of the inlet in a small strip mall. Beachware permitted here. Quite a casual place. Music pumped in when the band is taking a break. Two areas for dining and a large bamboo bar in the center with TV's close to anyone who cares to watch. Island food prevails. read more

A dust ball landed on one of my honey wings and took up residence there until it was thrown away. One more weird observation: there is a dollar up charge for ordering a drink on the rocks. I gave him our song list, card and our price at 240.00. About a week later he booked us for 2/28/25. We brought friends, family and clients. The bar was full and everyone had a great time. I approached Ryan after we played and fid not compensate us. He said we needed an invoice to submit to him company. I had no idea what he was talking about. I asked him why he never mentioned this when he hired us. He had no response. I even srnt him a text a day to confirm 2/25 and thanked him for hiring us. I normally would give this a 4 but I am giving it a 5 to make up for some of the other reviews. Let's start with ambiance. This has a cool cantina/bar vive. with the windows open you get wonderful sea breezes. Tonight they had a very very good 3 man live rock group that played everything from al green to Eric Clapton. They were awesome and really added to the atmosphere. The service? Excellent. Our waitress was great with recommendations. She steered us away from ordering the ribs. Was always there when we needed something but was not intrusive. The food? We had a couple of bowls the lobster bisque and crab chowder. Both were excellent and had a ton on lobster and crab. These are a full meal if you are not a big eater. We also had the fried grouper sandwich. This was a huge filet perfectly breaded and fried without a hint of grease. We did not enjoy our experience/ first time here. We saw an ad in a paper for their specials and decided to try them. Off the bat they have excellent beer specials 5/$12 for domestics. I had a margarita suggested by the server. The margarita was straight tequila. For some that's a pro, for me, that's not a margarita. I couldn't drink it and left a full drink. The food was ok. We got a burger and ordered it medium, it came out well. The fries were also thin cut so we're cold quickly. The other dinner were the fajitas ordered without peppers. They cooked it incorrectly so we had to have them remade. The second batch came out and there was so much liquid in the skillet. Now if it was marinade the skillet should have been hot enough to burn it off but it didn't. I pour all the mystery liquid into a separate cup to try and eat the meat. The server told me it grease? Yuck. The service was so slow. I never got to send my drink back, so I paid for it. She seemed so busy she didn't have time to really take care of us. I ordered the tilapia with a side of green beans and slaw. The green beans were tasteless and the fish was tasteless as well. So disappointing. (Second strike.) My daughter-in-law ordered the lobster roll sandwich and you could hardly taste the lobster because it was over powered by the dressing. (Third strike.) My son ordered the Cuban sandwich and it was the best of the three meals. He also had an extra side of rice and red beans which were very good. The fajitas were cold, the plate wasn't even warm, the burger that was ordered rare came well done and the pasta was supposed to have butter on it . This is the worst experience I have had there. I thought with new mgmt, it would be better, but they didn't even offer to replace the food. It wasn't worth the money we paid for it. Ok- so 4 stars is more like 3.75...but my post covid lowering of expectations and the good Service is what brought the rating up for me. Firstly i can't give 5 stars because I found the place a bit unclean, our table was sticky, and I noticed some food pieces on the floor that were never cleaned up when other customers left. In fact the floor was just kinda dirty looking in general. Ew. But it's also not a high end luxury place and we do live in the era of understaffing in all service jobs so I've adjusted expectations at this point. As far as the food: I ordered the steak fajitas, and though they were decent. I think at the time they were a special. On par with Chili's (and I like chili's fajitas too). Not enough guacamole though (there never is lol, and theirs is good!). My meal was served hot, steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, came with plenty of tortillas, and the accoutrements were tasty as well. I'd order them again. Portion size was also good- it was a big serving. As for service: our server was a young man, I don't recall his name but he was good at his job, not overly friendly or annoying, he was the just right amount of friendly. He knew the menu and answered questions thoroughly. He checked on us just the right amount, and was just a normal authentic dude- NOT the fake smiley happy, ass kissing type so many servers pretend to be. What I truly appreciate was that he was smart enough to see how empty my beers were from afar, and came to ask if I wanted another before I was completely done with it- but without extra visits to the table to annoy us, that's top notch service IMO. The Goldilocks of attentiveness. Also, I had some of my moms fries too, and they were pretty good! She liked her plain burger, no complaints. I'd say if the place was just a bit cleaner, and slightly updated they definitely have a chance at being a 5 star establishment. There's also frequently live music- I go to the beach here a lot and almost always see/hear someone plying here. I skipped dessert, because $8.99 for a slice of key lime pie/cheesecake is highway robbery. I'll be coming back at some point because food was decently good, service was perfect, prices were a bit too much on some items, but a few of the menu items were still reasonably priced especially considering they have edible food, unlike Mulligans next door. plus the backstory is cool. I am however at the point that if prices go up any more I'm probably never eating out again. Even now I only eat out at most once a month. I did notice they have breakfast here that appears to be priced fairly (assuming the online menu pictures are up to date) and they have mimosas so I'll have to go back for that! Can't wait!! read more
