Ok- so 4 stars is more like 3.75...but my post covid lowering of expectations and the good Service is what brought the rating up for me. Firstly i can't give 5 stars because I found the place a bit unclean, our table was sticky, and I noticed some food pieces on the floor that were never cleaned up when other customers left. In fact the floor was just kinda dirty looking in general. Ew. But it's also not a high end luxury place and we do live in the era of understaffing in all service jobs so I've adjusted expectations at this point. As far as the food: I ordered the steak fajitas, and though they were decent. I think at the time they were a special. On par with Chili's (and I like chili's fajitas too). Not enough guacamole though (there never is lol, and theirs is good!). My meal was served hot, steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, came with plenty of tortillas, and the accoutrements were tasty as well. I'd order them again. Portion size was also good- it was a big serving. As for service: our server was a young man, I don't recall his name but he was good at his job, not overly friendly or annoying, he was the just right amount of friendly. He knew the menu and answered questions thoroughly. He checked on us just the right amount, and was just a normal authentic dude- NOT the fake smiley happy, ass kissing type so many servers pretend to be. What I truly appreciate was that he was smart enough to see how empty my beers were from afar, and came to ask if I wanted another before I was completely done with it- but without extra visits to the table to annoy us, that's top notch service IMO. The Goldilocks of attentiveness. Also, I had some of my moms fries too, and they were pretty good! She liked her plain burger, no complaints. I'd say if the place was just a bit cleaner, and slightly updated they definitely have a chance at being a 5 star establishment. There's also frequently live music- I go to the beach here a lot and almost always see/hear someone plying here. I skipped dessert, because $8.99 for a slice of key lime pie/cheesecake is highway robbery. I'll be coming back at some point because food was decently good, service was perfect, prices were a bit too much on some items, but a few of the menu items were still reasonably priced especially considering they have edible food, unlike Mulligans next door. plus the backstory is cool. I am however at the point that if prices go up any more I'm probably never eating out again. Even now I only eat out at most once a month. I did notice they have breakfast here that appears to be priced fairly (assuming the online menu pictures are up to date) and they have mimosas so I'll have to go back for that! He barely checked on us, we had no silverware when food came we had to go searching for him and he brought us paper forks ... for BURGERS LOL. This place is amazing. We're from Boston, visiting the area and came for lunch on a Fri afternoon. Chicken wings were delish. Pickles are "sticks," not rounds, still good though. This is a dive bar; not necessarily a bad thing because I happen to like dive bars! I lunched with my wife and youngest son. Wife enjoyed a grouper burger, grilled. Grouper and Cobia are typical local fish in abundance and there is no excuse for it to NOT be fresh caught this morning... I had a "lobsta" roll. The local lobster, not Maine Lobster, have different taste. A lobster roll should always be made to order and not scooped out of a stainless steel chilled pan. It was served with a melted stick of butter (???!); again, weird and maybe a local Florida thing, not a Boston thing...it was just ok. My son is vegan and he enjoyed the vegetarian Fajitas. Actually well seasoned and delightful. The red beans and rice side were awesome along with the fresh guacamole and pico de gallo. I think it's worth trying other things on the menu. It was just OK. Cuban Sandwich which the menu states is perfectly pressed was not pressed at all. Received wrong side with the burger (was charged for Mac & cheese and got fries). I never thought I'd see the day that some place could mess up Mexican food. That was until I visited Two Drunken Goats last Saturday afternoon. First off it was around 2pm when we dropped in and the place was pretty slow, so we decided to grab a couple of chairs at the outside bar. We had 2 bartenders look at us and walk away to talk to other customers that must have been regulars before a 3rd bartender walked over and noticed we had been waiting. He was nice and gave us a couple of drinks then walked over to the bartender working our station to tell her that we had been waiting and to get us a couple of menus. She came over and gave us our menus like she was doing us some sort of favor. It took a little while before she finally came back and took our order and refreshed our brews. We ordered the nachos and fish taco which she asked if we wanted the fish grilled or blackened, we ordered the fish blackened. So a little while longer passed and out came our food. The nachos were ok, but were mostly lettuce with very little meat on them. And the fish tacos that we ordered blackened (keep in mind they come grilled or blackened) came out FRIED! The food was ok, but I've had better from Taco Bell than what we got at Two Drunken Goats. The food wasn't great and the service just plain SUCKED! That's pretty much our overall opinion on the place. I usually tip 25% or more at most every restaurant I go to, but I only left like 5% for this girl that waited on us because her service was so bad. I feel really bad about that tip, but in all honesty she got a lot more than she deserved. read more

It's not a chain restaurant but a locally owned casual restaurant. I stopped by after a long bike ride and needed a drink. I ordered a strawberry margarita. It was delicious and served quickly. The menu is reasonably priced with lots of sandwich and main course items mixing land and sea. I was simple and ordered a Caesar salad. It was fresh and delicious. Wound it win a 5 star award for food and service? No, but I'd give it a go if you needed a casual outdoor place for a group or friends. A musician was setting up as I was leaving. Fun Mexican & Caribbean beer choices, margaritas and beachy cocktail offerings. Much of the menu is Mexican themed plus sandwiches and burgers. All of us ordered the Grouper Sandwiches which could be broiled, blackened or fried. We got 2 broiled and 2 blackened. The fish on the sandwich was definitely the highlight of the lunch. It was seasoned & cooked perfectly. The bun was mammoth and probably more bread than anyone needs, the coleslaw was bland and pretty much a throwaway. I got a side of Mac & Cheese instead of fries for $1 extra that was good but also very heavy. At $16.99/sandwich it was pretty pricey for what it was. I wanted to really like this place. I went once and while I ended up liking what I got, I didn't REALLY like it, if you know what I mean. For what it is, it meets most criteria. A beach restaurant you can access from a walk up the sand or by pulling into the strip mall it's part of. Tables inside and out give you options for seating. Service was prompt and the food (all 4 of us ordered the grouper sandwich) was tasty. Hard not to get tasty grouper when it's fresh. Pricing on the menu capitalized on its beach location so it was more expensive than either the food quality or atmosphere would warrant. But you can write that off to knowing your market. So even though it was close and walkable, we searched out other options the balance of our stay. Still, solid 3 stars. read more

Here are the issues, yes it's a dive bar but what I ordered was fantastic (grilled chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese) 12.99 and fries. My problems were not with the taste of the food or the price, but with the absolutely lousy service! I came in about 2:15 PM, it took a little while before the African-American hostess even greeted me to be sat, then it took even longer to have the waitress Kayla come over to take my drink order. There were only two customers outside, 4 people at the bar and then two tables inside. They were NOT busy. The cook was the one that actually brought me my food - when I tried to locate her to pay, she was standing chatting with Another waitress and that hostess. I gave a 20% tip as a courtesy but that tip should have gone to the cook because he was the most pleasant one I interacted with. On my way out I asked the hostess if they had any shirts I could purchase, since I was visiting out of town. She said they didn't have women shirts I said OK do you have men shirts and then she got an attitude and said we are all out of shirts. Just a dreadful experience - The saving grace was that chicken sandwich and then the nice cook that brought it to me..... My boyfriend order a plan burger and it was deliver with cheese, we told them that we order no cheese and we witness the cook scrape of the cheese and with his dirty rag he scape the cheese of the bun!! I did imbibe in one (or three) bloodies. They seemed a little on the sweet side if that makes sense. It was nothing that horseradish and hot sauce couldn't fix. And for $2.50, it was worth doctoring up. I also had the eggs Benedict. I am a complete sucker for real, homemade hollandaise, and I was not disappointed. My perfectly poached eggs were smothered in it. The potatoes that accompanied the dish were served with onions and peppers and done very well. Service was beyond friendly, and the beach vibe is wonderful. Prices, especially for this area, are very reasonable. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I suspect I'll be back tomorrow. read more
