We got seated in a nice table right along the Intercostal. Our waitress was very good. After ordering a beer I decided to try the lobster melt - lobster salad on rye with bacon - very good. Of course how couldn't it be good with bacon on it?! My wife got the Atlantic salmon special with two sides for $15 and declared it a success. The food is good, but don't expect high class. It's good seafood at a decent price. They have an amazing drink selection and even offer the ability to get a bucket of what you order. We love the outside atmosphere, and it's covered in the cases where it rains. They do have valet parking, but I would usually park in the garage down the street. read more

My husband and I decided what we wanted and ordered. They must have a very large kitchen staff because it didn't feel like we waited more than 10 minutes for our meal and this place was packed. My husband had a dolphin sandwich and it was good. I really enjoyed my salad. It was a tuna Thai salad and I got the dressing on the side. I really like the dressing because it was made with chopped up peanuts in it. I think what I like best about it is it really felt like it was made not that long before I placed my order because the peanuts were not soggy. Call me crazy but I do like crunchy peanuts in my salad dressing. My only complaint was that the soda was a bit expensive BUT we are from Michigan and vacationing in the area - Florida is just a little more expensive than Florida. read more

Fun restaurant to eat at on the intracoastal. Tip: try to get one of the swinging booths by the water. It makes the meal more fun just watch out for your drink. They had live music playing in the bar area closest to the dock and parking lot. it was loud so if you are looking for quiet just sit on the other side of the restaurant closest to the water. The food was good. We had a tuna dish, swordfish, magi sandwich, fish and chips, and mac and cheese for the kid. the max and cheese was Kraft mac and cheese out of the box but the kid enjoyed it. Tip: ask for the bread - it's served warm. Everything else was good and decent portions. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake and key lime pie. Only the key lime pie was made in house but we enjoyed both desserts. the chocolate cake had a rich frosting and the key lime pie had a nice flavor. They also had a fun mixed drink list as well as a good variety of local beer. I think if the food was one notch up (maybe a from scratch mac and cheese) and they brought out bread and waters for everyone without asking for it, this place would be 5 stars. We arrived by 4:30 or so on a Saturday and didn't have to wait for a table but people we're waiting when we were leaving at 6:30. The only thing this place has going for it is the view. Everything else was a disappointment. The service was slow and inattentive; we had to keep flagging down our server just to get basic things. We tried the zucchini fries, which they claim are a favorite, but they were soggy and inedible. My dad's wife, who's vegetarian, specifically asked for no chicken on her nachos and still received chicken. Overall, the food was just bad. No one at our table finished their meal. To make matters worse, one person in our group ended up with food poisoning that night. With so many better options in the area, I wouldn't recommend dining here. read more

Their salads are fresh, the fish and chips were well prepared and were obviously prepared in fresh cooking oil as they had a nice golden (not brown) color. I have been going to 2 Georges for over 10 years each time I'm in the area and never have been disappointed. Two Georges is first come first serve and we got lucky! Seated immediately and next to the water! I was in a dress and felt comfortable in a more rustic setting.
