Went to buy a car and they SCAMMED me I pay 11 thousand dollars for that car and I went to trade it to a dealer ship and I got the wonderful news that my car has a salvaged title. Sale price $3000.00 and when we were trying to get an agreement this honest people have the audacity to say "we are losing money on the deal they were trying to give me " So be careful with those people they are Scammers pls go to a real dealership not with this people

Get a PPI no matter what with this auto group

They have some cool inventory, but they're from auctions for various reasons. This CL63 was filmed by their group in what seemed to be immaculate condition. There are over 100 pics on their website, so they present very well on paper. The video walkthrough is also showroom quality. An out-of-state buyer relies heavily on this. A friend told me to get a PPI (Private Party Inspection), to be my "eyes" out there and check for any discrepancies. There were a couple major ones: someone at the dealership at some point rear ended what looks like a hitch, it punctured the back bumper and is partially hanging off (plastic clip is broken). My inspector said a new bumper is needed, front and back. A hood vent is randomly missing. They lied to me and said they got the car that way, yet the vent is seen in their showroom video. My PPI found deep scratches all over the car. Mechanically, nothing too bad, but a recently cleared engine sensor which isn't a good sign either. The sales person said 'no problem we'll fix all that', but I know better. It won't be a full swap OEM bumper, it'll be a bondo quick job. All-in-all, I've seen the price of this car go down $100 in 4 weeks lol I don't think they negotiate because SOMEBODY will buy it. They have a hardcore gig here. I have a Manheim connect and know what they got it for so it's shocking they dropped it a hundred bucks when they screwed the car up and the online ad is false. If you buy from them, get a PPI, get everything in writing, never let them "fix" anything for you so you know it's being done right. See it with your own eyes if you can.

Alex was great! Truly pleased with the process and purchase. Very clean and professional establishment. I hope to do business with them again.

I worked with Alex Hernandez and had a great experience. He was professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire transaction. He communicated promptly regarding offers and, as an out-of-state buyer, I especially appreciated how he coordinated quick and seamless shipping. He made the entire process smooth and easy.

The car was looking for on the sales representative. That helped us out.

The whole process was stress free. The people there were friendly. I was In & Out with the car. I wanted within the hour. I left with a smile & the car I wanted (:

Let me start off by saying, go read there yelp and BBB.org reciews, they have a F rating at BBB,that's gotta be enough to scare you away. The Google reviews are flooded with fake reviews to drown out the bad ones. These people will scam you, then offer 1k, for 10s of thousands of dollar repairs. Save yourself the headache and buy elsewhere. When we talked on the phone, I said all y'all do is lie, it turned into a yelling contest, said I never lied to you, cursing me, very unprofessional, with an angry customer, going through what I'm going through. Hate to break to it to israel, you said 2 days in a row, you'd call me back in 10 mins, never heard from you. So you lied twice! So to start yelling and cursing me and going on the defense was just to play the victim, pathetic. Then he said you have no proof, you probly blew it up. I asked for an email address to send proof and he said I'm done with this bye. Didn't want to see the proof. These crooks are unprofessional and I doubt they'll be in business much longer. They have a wholesale inventory, which gives customers the option to buy junk cars that need a lot of work and money. No one said anything about this to us. But we bought a as is junk car. Day 4 of me trying to contact the owner, always an excuse and never a call back... I'll keep trying everyday. They value feedback and care. Ignore what the "(owner)" posts at the negative comments, if they really cared, they'd email or call me back, they have my info. They edited the post 31 minutes ago. Right as I was on the phone, for the 5th day trying to contact the owner. Not once was I derogatory or rude, I called 5 days and was respectful, just trying to contact the owner, like the comment said, before it was edited. The owner asked me to call him. Now the 5th day, they literally switch the comment to what it says now? They were rude and derogatory and cursing me out first, soon as israel flipped script and started cursing me out. Funny how someone does something wrong and then blames the victim for the same thing they just did. Don't buy a car without checking it over in person. Don't just believe what these liars tell you! We bought a 2020 Tahoe in April, had it shipped to us. I asked how it ran, how it drove, suspension, engine, how the paint and wheels were. Was told everything perfect, except you'll probly need tires, was all he told us. He was a good talker, tells you what you want to hear. Replaced everything in the pictures, spent alot of money. Now 4 months later, the engine is done for. Bought it with 68k miles, have 74k miles on it and needs a new motor now. Save your headache and buy from a real dealership, that actually checks the cars and sells with some kind of warranty. Should've said no and been a red flag, when we had to sign something saying, we're buying car as is, no returns, nothing. Don't let all the good reviews full you, I'm sure most of them are fake, to cloud out the real reviews, from people like me, that got the run around and almost now have to put a little less into it, than what we paid for the piece of crap. Would never buy think of buying from these crooks again and hope that my review will help some poor soul that they could eat alive. Very shameful, worst experience, disgusting car sales place, if you call it that. Save the headache and your money and go elsewhere please! Not sure if the 2 photos are gonna load or not, but 1 is the old springs, compared to the new OEM springs I put on, the old springs sagged down about an inch and a half or so. The other pic, is the better of the wheels, curb rash all around it. Guess it's hard to sell a car, if you are honest and answer all the questions I asked, cause we wouldn't have bought this car, if he told us everything asked him. But instead, he said, everything runs and drives smooth, paint and wheels look great, just might need tires, is what he said, no, it did need tires, not might. They should be shut down and out of business, to run a place like this, is sickening. Never met anyone, close to a crook, as bad as these nit cases are.

After checking to make sure there was no obvious blowout, we decided to park the car and look into the issue when we returned on March 5th. So this morning when we got off the ship, the light was still there, so we drove straight to the dealership. We were greeted promptly and our issue was inspected and resolved quickly. The only part of our experience that keeps this review from being 5 stars is that my wife needed a new battery for her key fob. She's the primary driver of our VW. So hers gets alot more use than mine. They charged us $14 to change the battery. My issue isn't the amount. It's the fact that we were even charged at all. I consider Volkswagen a quality car manufacturer. I don't expect to be nickled and dimed for trivial things. Especially when the car is barely 2 years old. I've been a customer of Gulf Coast Nissan for 19 years and they've NEVER charged me to replace a key fob battery. I consider Volkswagen to be of higher class than Nissan. Your customer service perks should reflect that.

In fact the floor manager even went as far as saying " I'm happy to do the deal as long as you give us a great survey" . Floor manager returned a few minutes after all parties shook hands and then said "I'm not going to do the deal as we agreed , you'll need to pay us X amount more if you want the vehicle" . No explanation , only that they decided they didn't want to honor the agreement from 5 minutes prior. Needless to say - we were stunned as we had been at the dealer for nearly three hours and all parties agreed to take delivery late into the evening if the deal terms were signed up then and there. We politely left but then really thought about the events that unfolded and realized they were just typical tactics. Our salesman Jerry was in as much shock as we were that his management team unwound a deal after making an agreement. In fact , we were happy to hand him a win that he rightfully deserved after a slow Saturday. In this great state, a man's word and a handshake is a sacred bond. Unfortunately , this dealership chose to prioritize a tiny amount of profit for a lifelong local customer. We called a dealership on the north side of town when we exited the parking lot that seems to understand the value of transparency , honesty , and customer loyalty better and will now work with them despite living around the corner from clear lake VW. I wish Jerry the best , as he doesn't deserve the short end of the deal his management team gave him. I purchase 3-5 vehicles a year and have never seen events unfold in a manner like they did at Clear Lake VW

Emilio the sales person was great communicating. We agree to a number I would be comfortable agreeing to before driving 3 1/2 hrs to their dealer. I get to the dealer and the car is not even there. I get to sit around for 15-20 min because the car is still getting an oil change when I get there. After them knowing I was on my way and knowing around what time I was gonna get there. They finally pull the car around. The car has a hit that was not shown in pictures. The windshield has 2 very sizable chips and the tires are dated to 2023 but they feel like hockey pucks due to how dry rotted and cracked they are. Obviously no one in their right mind is gonna agree to pay 30k for a car that needs at the most minimum a new windshield and tires. Robert, the terrible manager there or whatever position he holds. Explains to me that even though those things were not disclosed and are not able to be noticed in a picture. He will absolutely not help me at all in price because he had already brought it down before I agreed to drive out. So obviously im getting pissed. Smart person Robert offers to zip tie or tape up the bumper so it doesn't look like its loose. THEY 3M TAPED IT!! 30k car again. Then I get mad so im just done with this bullshit so I decide to leave. Im my way out. Not so smart Robert offers me to swap our the wheels and tired ( and take care of that labor) from the car I was trading in so that he can make the sale. My car has 18inch base tires. The car they were selling came with 20in premium alloy wheels. This goober ( cant call him what I really want to) really tried to steal more value from me so that he can make a sale. Absolutely no respect shown to the costumer after driving more than 3 hours to see them!!!! Cant trust this guys! ! DONT BUY THE 2022 RX 350 THEY HAVE LISTED IF THEY DONT DISCLOSE THE MASSIVE CHIPS ON THE WINDSHIELD, THE FRONT BUMBER BEING 3M TAPED TOGETHER AFTER THEY HIT IT AND THE MICHELIN TIRES THAT THEY CLAIM ARE GOOD BECAUSE THEY ARE FROM 2023 BUT ARE HARDER THAN THE TUMOR OF STUPIDITY GROWING ON THE MANAGERS ROBERTS BALDING HEAD

Their staff clearly needs more training…read more I called them early in the morning, initially asking if a vehicle on their property that I was interested in (and which was still listed on their website) was still available for a PPI inspection. I clearly specified the year, make, model AND trim. The person I spoke with on the phone confirmed that it was indeed still available for inspection, and could be looked at during any of their open office hour times. With that confirmation in mind, I then placed a $200+ order with a PPI inspection company to schedule an appointment. Hours later I heard back from the PPI inspector who had arrived at the dealership; but with bad news --- apparently, the vehicle had already been sold, potentially days before I had even called the dealership that morning. This was despite the PPI inspector also having separately called up the dealership ahead of driving over and also confirming that the vehicle was available for an inspection that day. All said and done, I may ultimately have wasted a couple of hundred dollars needlessly on an inspection that wasn't even possible to take place in the first place. Motors on Wheels needs to train their staff better to confirm that their vehicles are in fact available for inspection when requested, as well as drop their listings from their website once they're sold. Having potential customers needlessly waste their money on impossible inspections is a senseless waste of money that could be easily prevented with better safeguards and training. If the dealership can't ensure against simple issues like this, I can't help but wonder what other sorts of issues exist at their dealership that aren't as readily visible. I unfortunately cannot recommend this dealership.
