Julianna was my server and she made sure I was well taken care of. I got the chicken enchiladas and they were delicious. The red enchilada sauce was out of this world. Tangy, just the way I like it. If you're in the DFW Airport in Terminal D, go to the D31 gate. This hidden gem of a TexMex restaurant is right there. Bring an appetite because the chicken enchiladas are a lot of food. We had some time to kill at the airport, it was about 9:35 am, or so, and we decided to get breakfast at TXMX. We decided on breakfast because that's all they serve until 10:30 am. I ordered the TexMex French Toast with Nutella and Muttled Strawberries. The upper crust was hard as a rock! The Nutella was very sparse and not many strawberries were atop the entree. Needless to say, it was okay at best. My wife had the carnitas breakfast burrito - she said it was good. Service was good; not great. I had to ask for more coffee. Otherwise, our needs were met. The place isn't decorated too much, as it's kind of an open air - airport dining room. I probably wouldn't return for breakfast, I might give 'em a try for lunch or dinner, but I'm not sure. So many choices at DFW but this time I was in a rush and needed a quick breakfast. The chilaquiles were some of the best that I've ever eaten. More Sonoran than TexMex but still very good. Priced reasonably too and the service was quick. Terminal D. Their breakfast tacos looked good as well. Give them a try. read more

TX/MX is a fine spot for a pre-flight taste of Texas. We stopped in before an international flight knowing we would need our Tex-Mex fix before our trip. The margaritas did the trick, and while the breakfast tacos and the ensalada were just okay, it was good enough to make us feel justified in our choice. Service was friendly and efficient. While not the best Mexican in Dallas, it does just fine for a quick airport meal in a pinch. read more

Delicious jalapeno margarita!! My first time in Dallas airport and was craving some Tex Mex food and found this cute restaurant. I wasn't too hungry so I got their queso con carne which is pretty much deconstructed nachos. The chips were nice and warm and crunchy! And they weren't stingy with the amount of chips they served! The queso was super creamy and yummy! I enjoyed dipping my chips into the yummy queso! They have a fully stocked bar with many margarita options. I got their jalapeno margarita and it was huge! I loved the huge slices of fresh jalapenos which included the seeds! Yes! Spicy! I love it! They also had the football games on their flat screen TV's which I enjoyed watching while I waited for my flight home! read more

Honestly, 5 star experience here at TX/MX in Fortworth Airport. Jules was our server and she was so sweet and provided 10/10 customer service. Gentle, patient, and always checking on us was so refreshing! Chips n salsa were excellent 10/10, very surprised for being "airport food" also the chicken street tacos very good. So I accidentally ended up in Dallas due to some delay and cancellation issues, so my mood is already a bad one, but then near my terminal for my last connection, so I stop in and Paris!!!! Who I believe is the breaker today, absolutely incredible disposition and service exceptional. She set the standard for the service I'd like when paying these outrageous airport prices. Didn't get food but the guy next to me has chips and salsa looks fire!!!! Thanks again Paris!!! read more

Stumbled upon this gem when I figured I could sneak in a nice dinner during a short stop-over at the DFW airport. Was advised my next flight was at gate D, so I headed over to this section. Was in the mood for more local food (*I come from Canada) & wanted something fairly light. Friendly host/waitress seated me and also immediately gave me a (much needed) large glass of water. Ordered chicken tacos, which arrived quickly & with a bowl of seasoned rice. While thoroughly enjoying these 3 mini juicy tacos (chicken was moist, sauce was flavourful) on small corn tortillas (stars due to portion size) - I suddenly saw my gate completely changed & I only had about 20 minutes to get there before boarding started. I had to quickly request my bill, which the understanding waitress obliged & took off before I had a chance to try the rice. If I stop at this airport & have time, I'd definitely come back! Great TexMex food served quickly! Julianne kept our drinks refilled and offered us friendly service. TVS over the bar with games and shows, nice music piped in loud enough to hear, but not so loud that we couldn't hear each other or gate announcements. read more

I give this place 2.5 stars. I have no idea how people are giving this place more than 3 stars. I was in the airport and wanted to try a new spot in DFW. The bartender was great, nice guy. I ordered a beer which was actually a decent size. I ordered the plate of 3 tacos but these were the smallest tacos I have ever seen. They were about the size of quarters. There was little on them and they were nearly $20. I was so disappointed I ended up going to Chick-Fil-A a little while later to get filled up. I will not be coming back here. I give them a star for having decent servings of beer. read more

We arrived at open after an overnight flight. The bartender was our waitress because she didn't know where the waitress was. After reading other reviews I'm glad we had this lady.
