Yesterday my company's e-mail stopped working and I could not figure out why. I was on the phone with our e-mail host server people, Spectrum cable, etc. and nothing was getting fixed. Not only was it not getting fixed, but no one I was speaking to would take responsibility for what was wrong, blaming the other guy. When you don't know a lot about computers, you'll believe what's being told to you. So I was calling everyone. I was seriously at a loss since we do not have an IT person in house. Sean did an excellent emergency repair to the power jack and its internally broken wires on my daughter's laptop. She was only here for 3 business days but Sean tracked down the replacements for the broken parts and repaired it in time for her to take it with her on her plane flight. Finding the correct replacement parts is usually the delay or problem in repairs so I was very impressed. Sean provided excellent service - reasonable prices. Fry's and Best Buy said I'd have to drop it off and they'd send it out to the repair facility which would take 2 to 3 weeks over all while other "same day/in your home computer 'repair' businesses" said it couldn't be fixed at all -- I think they were not as technically capable as Sean and probably did not have any idea how to fix it. In a word, OC Computers is OUTSTANDING! On Thursday morning my home business computer crashed. I called OCC at 9:30am; at 10:30am Sean, the owner of OCC, was at my doorstep. After a quick diagnostic, Sean determined my computer had multiple viruses. Sean then took my computer to his office and repaired it. He returned it to me the next morning and reinstalled my computer at which time he determined my new cable network had ben hacked. This caused me much concern and alarm. I spilled a really sugary coffee drink (a cloud coffee I made at home, it's basically sugar, instant coffee with a little water whipped into like a coffee whipped cream like thing. Tastes good, basically pure sugar that crystallised into my laptop once it spilled) on my laptop and it was basically nonfunctional but they were able to restore functionality to it without losing any data ! I'm struggling w my laptop here and there still but that's to be expected when you damage your pc like I did, and Sean has been really good about helping me out and working with me on costs and timeliness! My 15 yr old desktop pc ceased sending a signal to the monitor. I hadn't backed up important files, and had an even older printer and accessories. Everything worked out well. Had to get the data off of a disk that had 20 years of pictures, and all my music on it. Sean was very responsive from the first call. The problem was the hard drive. Which I already suspected before walking in. Not only did he replace an older HP model hard drive but he saved our family pictures, videos and much needed software that I use for work. He also gave me my old hard drive back with all the backup.
