This is a fantastic moving company, top to bottom, no exceptions. Their pricing was highly competitive and reasonable. I booked my move about a month in advance, Calvin's (the owner) staff were very helpful answering my questions and they had a very thorough on-line survey which helped estimate the total volume of items to be moved and told them how many trucks they would need. I was very pleased with how thorough and accurate this system was. His staff called a few days prior to confirm and Calvin talked to me the day before to confirm everything. His moving crew showed up on time and got right to work. They were easy going and professional, just good people. They were careful, swift and efficient with their packing and loading. The techniques they used to wrap and protect our furniture was indicative of their experience and professionalism. Until this move I didn't realize there is a huge difference between general labor helpers and PROFESSIONAL movers. Our move was over 500 miles and not a single thing was damaged or broken, except a large terracotta pumpkin halloween decoration which we laughed about at the end of the move. Vibration during the drive caused it to fall apart. We were not heartbroken, it was the least of worries :-D LOL Overall I could not imagine having done this move with any other company and crew. It was a lot of work, a lot of stress, and literally we gained full trust with Calvin and his crew within the first 10 minutes of speaking with them. MOVING IS THE WORST but Calvin Oliphant and his crew made it so much more bearable. I got a quote for Ultimate Moves and Relocations to pack and move us, or just move us. Both quotes were extremely reasonable and we ended up just having them move all of the furniture and boxes from our house. They wrapped up all of the mattresses and furniture to keep everything in great shape and got us quickly to our next destination. Calvin was very responsive. He quickly got me a the quote, communicated beforehand, and even came out the day of to supervise and help his crew the day of the big move. Our situation was a little unique as my mother's home had been packed and moved from a different state by another company, then placed in storage because her home here was not ready. They are superb!!! Best movers we have ever had, and not one thing got broken!!! They packed up all our belongings and then moved our belongings the following day, and then unpacked our main belongings for about 2-3 hours the following day, which saved us from weeks of unpacking (we're retired, so we move slowly).
