Here also to share love for the lobster deal !!!! It really is amazing. The service was exceptional too.

I met a friend here for a quick drink. I got the pear cider and it was yummy- a little sweet but not that sweet. It's dark inside and there were a lot of people around 6 pm. I'd come again!

Monday night $26 lobster and beer special. I'm always a sucker for anything hyped up on social media that's supposedly a "good deal". Obviously, so were all the other people on the line for the 4pm opening. Honestly the line was not that bad. Looked worst than it actually was. Lined up around 3:30pm and sat down by 4:05pm. The hostess service is a total thumbs down. Totally attitudey. So many tables in the alley area and she wanted to seat our party of 6 right next to the long line when there were a good number of tables to pick from. After asking to sit at another table in the same area, we received some unnecessary comments that were not appreciated. Even 20 mins later the area was still quite empty so not sure why she insisted we needed to sit next to the long line with people hovering over us to eat. Sometimes polite persistence wins and we got to sit another table. Waiter service and bus service- amazing and attentive even though there are so many customers for the special. Waiter came right away to take our order, bring water and supplies for our lobster feast. The Monday special consists of a 1.5lb lobster, corn on the cob, potato and your choice of a draft beer. Great price BUT since it's so popular now, the quality of the food is just not there. The main attraction lobsters are NOT fresh at all. Spoke with waiter and asked why all the female lobsters are obviously missing the tamale aka lobster brain (my fave part) and he said they precook the lobsters in the morning and remove the tamale to keep them fresher. My family loves eating lobster and the lobsters don't even taste like they were alive from the morning. The texture is semi mushy and has a weird aftertaste. I'm not sure if it's cause of the hype now and they need to pre-prepare the lobsters ahead of time but lobsters taste a little off. No seafood taste and a bit tasteless. Otherwise this is great deal. Perfect location and the ambiance sitting on the benches in the cobblestone alley is amazing. We had the best weather today with a slight breeze. Lots of choices of draft beer as well.

Good deal for a lobster , potato, corn and a beer $26... but an hour wait but worth it for that price .. love the outdoor dining

this place rocks (at lunch only - late night, is a finance bro nightmare !)

130+ year old building - beautiful & amazing. Maybe older? This structure has been around since Gangs of NY, if not b4 hand. Beautifully restored with beautiful, irregularly shaped wrap-around bar. Great food - upscale British pub style, & great tap selection, including fresh & cold German pils. Apparently, @ night, they turn into banker bro douche HQ, w/ the bleach blond bimbos who love them. & weekends are annoying tourist mania. But weekday lunches are magical, & quiet enough to hear the ghosts. My new fav pub in Manhattan - bar none. PS - NGL - I don't always want pub food. But their multiple salads & tomato soup are awesome. Very clean, & courteous & attentive staff.

A fun spot in FiDi with great Lobster Monday deals -- we stopped in to get the Lobster, Baked Potato meal and it was quite the experience. It's a satisfying (but messy) experience to crack open your own lobster! I'd come back for lobster rolls.

Such a fun night life! Excellent happy hour and one of the biggest bars on stone street ! Food is yummy! And the service is great! They have outdoor seating during the summer and the spring!

    Not even at first knuckle

Not sure where they are picking prices from these days. Macallan 12, not even at knuckle, single modest pour was $30 w tip. Crowd is 20ish and packed some nights. Typical for Stone St. Pass.

Special also comes with a beer. Guinness was our choice.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with champagne, which immediately set the tone for a special evening. Our server, Daniel, was beyond amazing. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary meaningful. It never felt forced just thoughtful, polished hospitality. The team went above and beyond when we brought our wedding cake (which had been frozen for a year). Not only did they accommodate it without hesitation, they helped decorate and present it beautifully you would have thought it had been baked that same day. It was such a touching moment for us, and they handled it with care and enthusiasm. As for the food: incredible. The steak tartare was perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. The tuna was fresh and vibrant. And the Beef Wellington... honestly one of the best I've had in New York City. Perfectly cooked, rich, elegant, and absolutely worthy of a celebration dinner. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: romantic, warm, refined but relaxed. It felt special without being stiff. If you're looking for a place to celebrate something meaningful, this is it. We will absolutely return.

Fortunately, The Grey Dog's Chelsea location had a large picnic table in the back (and yes, we had to make a reservation in advance). Even so, the seating was a bit tight and uncomfortable. FRIED CHICKEN & JOHNNY CAKES - 18 I wanted a mix of sweet and savory, so this option seemed like a good one. Each order came with two strips of fried chicken tenders placed on top of two large cornmeal pancakes, each bigger than my face. The fried chicken was heavily-breaded (perhaps a bit too much), with white chicken meat underneath that varied between juicy and dry The pancakes themselves were pretty forgettable, and I wasn't a big fan of the lemon ricotta or chili-spiced syrup on the side. Most of our group found their entrees pretty underwhelming. Additionally, service was really slow, and the kitchen forgot an order. Personally, I wouldn't return, especially with so many other great options within two minutes walk away. Edit: Owner pointed out that their chicken is not breaded. What I meant is that the chicken is heavily-battered. Sorry!

Probably the worst food I've had in manhattan to date. We got the shaved steak sandwich which was awful. The steak was somehow raw (we asked for medium well) and rubbery and overly chewy all at the same time. Also tasted like it was seasoned with a pinch of salt and nothing else. The caesar salad was abysmal. They make their own dressing which is usually a good thing but that was not the case here. The dressing tasted like anything but caesar. We told the waitress and asked for new entrees because we couldn't even take another bit of either. We chose chicken tenders and a burger because we figured you can't mess that up. Well.... The burger was also pretty terrible and the chicken tenders tasted of old oil. Now one would think if food isn't their strong suit, maybe they make up for it in their drinks. WRONG. Moscow Mule was not in a copper cup. Instead it was out of a plastic cup made to look like copper. It also tasted like flavored water. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the waitresses gave us new food (also bad) and we're apologetic but it's not their fault. Don't come here for anything other than a beer since they can't mess that up
