    Shrimp soup.
    Yuliana J.

I got the shrimp soup. It was lukewarm , the taste was good, but had a lot of union more than vegetables. The shrimp is super tiny. I recommend the crispy shrimp tacos instead. But everyone is always real nice. I would go for a burrito instead.

This is my second time coming here. I grew up knowing about this restaurant chain, but never tried it. I wish I did before. I have to say this is underrated. Nothing is sitting in a steam table. Everything is cooked to order. The flavors are on point. The service is quick we were attended with attention to details within our request for our orders and kindly gave us what we asked. I had the Al Pastor tacos, the Carnitas tacos, the Carne Asada fries, the flautas, the rice taste just like my mother's, which is amazing, and they're spicy salsa is smoky and so delicious, the pico de gallo and the guacamole was so fresh and delicious also. Sorry I don't have pictures of the other stuff, because we devoured it it's that good. If you haven't came here, don't delay come in and try it. I give it high-fives all around.

I've seen this place for years and decided to try it. Ordered 2 chicken flautas and also 2 potato flautas, along with a side of refried beans. The flautas were disgusting, I took one bit of each. Maybe it was cooked in old oil because it taste good at all. The beans where whole pinto beans instead of refried. The whole experience was a wasted $20 because into the trash it all went. Not a place I'd ever go again. I also wanted the guac and sour cream on the side, which they literally put on the side. What a joke.

    Chorizo and egg burrito

I was on my way to Noah Bagels next door and I saw a sign that Una Mas has breakfast burritos! I ordered the Chorizo and egg burrito and it was very good! It was also $10.99 and that was a great price. It was good size and the chorizo was cooked to perfection. I wish there was a little more egg in it, but I understand it's a chorizo forward burrito. I will definitely get this again. The service at this location was excellent.

I did like the food. It had flavor and is very authentic. The Service was pretty fast since it wasn't busy in the afternoon. The gentlemen taking the orders was very helpful as well. I will like to return again.

    Chorizo Con Huevos breakfast burrito

I impulsively stopped by this location this morning since I was looking for something quick for breakfast and this happened to be right next to the coffee spot I was at. I really wanted to love it but found it to be very average. I ordered the Chorizo Con Huevos breakfast burrito and was underwhelmed with the quality. Nothing spectacular, honestly probably something I could make at home. And for the price of almost $10 a burrito, it just wasn't worth it to me. Giving 3 stars because of the fast and friendly service, and the clean and well maintained interior. Could be a good place to stop if you want something fast and convenient. But there's just so many other better locations in the area that I don't see myself returning here.

Really wasn't expecting much but Una Mas lowkey SLAPS. We got the Tortilla Soup, Taquitos, Carne Asada Taco, and the Foghead Burrito. The burrito was so good, full, and well-balanced. Love the addition of the barbecue sauce and corn salsa. The only thing is that I thought the Taquitos came with four but they unfortunately only came with two. But definitely a hefty portion of guac, which was so much appreciated. The guys at the shop were also really friendly and nice. They really hooked it up with the chips. The red salsa is bomb, and I could not stop eating the chips because of it!!

Prior to the pandemic, I was working with a company that provided lunch from various restaurants every day. You simply scheduled an order for the day from the restaurant that you wanted. One of the restaurants was Una Mas in Redwood City. They had a nice Carne Asada burrito and burrito bowl. The meal included some nacho chips with salsa. Admittedly the salsa was not spicy but it went well with the chips. The burritos were also quite good. One day I decided the try the Una Mas restaurant in Santa Clara and with the help of Yelp I made my pickup order (yes it was a Carne Asada burrito). The service was quick and parking was easy. The food was very consistent with the ones I got in Redwood City and I was definitely not disappointed.

    Chicken quesadilla

I just happened to be craving Mexican one day and now I need it everyday. Not all Una Mas restaurants are the same. The Una Mas on El Camino and off San Thomas Expressway is the best. I got the chicken quesadilla and it's my new favorite thing to eat everyday. Highly recommend it. Consider tipping the staff, they so appreciate it and it's the right thing to do.

After waiting over an hour, we noticed another large party that arrived after us being seated first. Only after we spoke up did staff realize they had entirely forgotten about our group because they were preparing to close. A very disappointing first impression before we even stepped foot inside the restaurant. Once seated, we ordered drinks and experienced the buffet, but service after that was almost nonexistent. The entire experience felt rushed, as if we were no longer welcome because we ended up being among the last guests there -- something that could have easily been avoided had we been seated when we were supposed to. What makes this even more upsetting is the cost. Our bill was over $630 before gratuity and additional tip. For that price, I expected attentive service and a memorable Mother's Day experience, not to feel forgotten and rushed out. I've honestly received far better service at restaurants costing a fraction of the price. The only thing I truly enjoyed were the waffles, but even then, I can easily find restaurants with similar or better food quality and significantly better service. Will I return? No. Would I recommend coming here for holidays or special occasions? Absolutely not. There are many restaurants in the area that provide far better food, service, and overall value for a fraction of this cost. Unfortunately, Pedro's was not one of them. Pedro's, do better. Customers should never feel overlooked, rushed, or exploited -- especially on occasions meant to celebrate family and mothers.

My boyfriend and I got the Mexican sashimi and the bone marrow. The bone marrow didn't have much marrow in it but I loved how crunchy the toast was that came with it. The Mexican sashimi was great and I loved the spice kick that it had with it. The service was not worth the 20% auto gratuity but I understand that's what you have to pay with a large party. He might've been training because he had someone following him so maybe that was the case but it also seemed like we were his only table. It wasn't super busy since the World Cup games were going on and people are at other places. One of my friends drink didn't come with the usual cotton candy that her first one did so we asked for some to add on and we watched him walk over to the service well and stand there chatting. I thought he was waiting on the bartender to get him the cotton candy but after a while I realized he wasn't getting the cotton candy. So 3 stars because I really did enjoy the atmosphere, drinks and food but that's about it. Not sure if I would come back again.

Tasting the green (mild?) salsa was my favorite. It had a great tomatillo flavor with a creamy spiciness. It was a good reprieve from my main dish. A Paloma was my drink of choice this time. I'll preface this by saying I'm not a fan of tequila but when presented with the cold clay mug rimmed with salt and topped with orange and grapefruit, I was impressed. It was delicious, so refreshing, fragrant, and cold! A nice counterbalance to my meal. Chilaquiles was a dish I wanted to try. They had delicious chips again cooked in salsa verde. Covered with eggs (any style) fresh crema, avocado, and onions the chilaquiles exceeded my expectations. So simple yet so flavorful. Mixing up quantities of ingredients in each bite made for a delicious experience. My favorite element being the sharpness of the onions which cut the richness of the dish. I'm generally not a fan of refried beans but these ones had such a unique and satisfying flavor which complimented the dish well. My server, Luis was very helpful and quick to check in and make sure I was doing okay! I cannot wait to try out their fish tacos and various drinks from the menus next time!
