We had to try something else on the menu. They have beverages. We tried the horchata mocha. It was very sweet which is fine if you love super sweet drinks. They have other items on the menu we plan to try on the next trip. The place is small, but most go there to pick up. The fluffy cake was for my mother in laws birthday. She had never tried it before. I was so happy to have stumbled on this near place when searching for coffee. I'm not from the area, but temporarily working in the area and when I saw the name pop up on Yelp search I started to search online where they're from and it seems their website is base in Dubai right now. Then looking further, it seems like this may be the first and only location in United States. I got the regular 4"" size Japanese cheesecake and one of each tart. Before purchasing, the workers here are super friendly and helpful. Helped directed me to the menu on the phone because the on screen menu kept changing and before I would be able to read through it, it would change so it was a bit annoying and she helped me to the web link on the menu. She also provided a free sample and did advise the texture is slightly different since that was fridged for a bit. I love the texture and sweetness level. I also got myself a iced mocha latte with oat milk as a substitute and it was perfectly sweetened and strong!! Yes you definitely can taste the quality and definitely not watered down. Also, she did advise the tart could be freezes and hence why I got one of each to take my time enjoying it when I'm back in OC. This place is definitely spacious and could accommodate a couple large group of about 6-8 people and small tables that holds 2-4 people. Music volume is manageable but does give it a chill vibe. I wish there are more branches close to DTLA or even in SF or SG valleys. The fluffy cheesecake, among other good treats they have are really good and worth the trip (if you have friends or family to visit in the area). We came across this place on our way to Ross. My daughter and I had to try it to compare if it's as good as the ones in San Diego. The inside is very airy. All white with hints of yellows. Tables were well spaced. The menu was a good selection of pastries and drinks. The cheesecake prices are pricey. We opted to eat in and a bit disappointed that the cheesecake we got wasn't as jiggly as it should because the girl gave us one that's fresh out of the fridge. The taste was good and texture is what you'll find in these type of pastry. My parents got coffee and tea. The regular cheesecake is a small personable size for about $10. The tart is $5. For how good it is, I think it's fair. It can get expensive when it adds up. The service was pretty quick and kind. I actually really like the inside they have tables and some have outlets. However, there are no public restrooms so I can't imagine how long I would stay. Every time I order I say I want it hot and almost always it comes out iced. When I say something about it, they make it seem like it's my fault or they give me an attitude. I tried ordering online and both my hot coffees came out iced. They try to hurry you when you order and don't explain their extensive menu. All employees here are unhappy and have no customer service. Only reason I go it's because it's the closest coffee spot from my apartment. They open at 11am which is ridiculous for a coffee shop.
