When I called to explain, the owner, Sam, responded with surprising hostility. Stop paying for reviews!!!! Instead of a simple understanding or even a brief explanation, I was yelled at and spoken to in a completely inappropriate way--like a child being scolded. He even began cursing at me over the phone. Keep in mind, this was over one slice of pizza and garlic knots. To make matters worse, he actually threatened to call the police over the cancellation. That was honestly shocking. (I have the text message to prove it) It's disheartening to be treated this way by a local business, especially when I've supported them in the past. I hope this review encourages the owner to reflect on how customers are spoken to--because no one deserves to be treated like that.
