We popped in here to ask about options and the woman working the counter, mom of this franchise owner I think, was so helpful in answering them. A very good introduction to the business. We will drop in again to try a small box for 2 as takeaway to pair with a glass of wine as casual picnic sometime at a local winery. But in general we are like that couple in Portlandia, you know the "Tell us a little bit about your chicken" people (if you don't know the bit I'll post a link below because when it first aired friends said "This is YOU" :-) ) and so we are more Olympia Provisions for charcuterie and local cheeses types. As example, we eat a mostly plant based diet and when we do eat animal proteins we buy them directly from local sustainable practice farmers. Which is no knock on this business,as they use good quality products, she brought some out to show us when we asked and these are better than you will likely get if you're picking up grocery store or big box store charcuterie trays. We also appreciated that as they can they use local veg and fruits here when those are on the trays. OPTIONS: Sizes range from a single serving "cup" ($8) to a box to feed two ($12) to boxes of other sizes and trays of multiple sizes with the top end of that designed to feed roughly 10 ($165). Photo boards in the shop show how the options are put together and a display over the counter shows prices. They offer Keto board options, Vegetarian Board options, Luxury options, Sweet Treat options that include fruit and chocolate and so on. So my review today is specific to ICONIC, which is their new restaurant & venue. Their location on Glenwood happens to be on my route to and from work. I stopped by on a recent weekday to get some dinner for takeout. I got two ridiculously good sandwiches: turkey with pesto & sharp cheddar and ham with brie and a fig jam. My dad and I couldn't decide which we liked best. They were hot, well-assembled sandwiches with flavors that we really enjoyed. They have a nice ramp into the front door if you need accessibility. They operate out of a trailer and have a whole set up of barbecues outside the trailer with an outdoor "kitchen". I ordered a brisket melt sandwich for $13. The size of the sandwich would be equivalent to a 1/4 pound cheeseburger. It came on a bun with melted cheese and the brisket. They serve dry with different barbecue sauces to add yourself. The barbecue sauce that I chose was just the basic option and it was pretty good. When I sat down to eat the sandwich, the first thing I noticed was the fatty cut of meat and many bites were about 50-50 fat and meat. it was decent but not a rave for a food truck.
