This classic pie shop is a great place for a slice or two. They have plenty of slice options, though we stuck with the classics. The pizza was absolutely delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's fairly busy and even mid-afternoon almost all of the tables were occupied, plus they seem to do a brisk takeout business.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd be happy to return here anytime.

I was craving some classic New York pizza, and stopped in here because it was the best-rated shop on my route. It ended up being a great choice! I quickly ordered a classic white slice. After I ordered, I wished I had taken the time to look at all of the different options! I noticed they have an alla vodka slice, which sounds incredible! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The white slice was delicious and a pretty good size, and it was nice and quiet inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The perfect little break from walking around busy NYC.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I really liked the pizza. The margherita pizza was good but surprisingly the spinach pizza was awesome. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No frills pizza spot with great people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great spot in midtown if you want pizza for lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Me and my dad went here for dinner after our travel day and safe to say we were impressed! I ordered the pesto gnocchi and my my dad ordered the sausage and pepperoni pizza. The gnocchi was extremely creamy and the pizza was a classic NY slice! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was very welcoming and felt like you were eating with family.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would recommend for family's or solo travelers!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Quaint and intimate pizzeria about a stones throw away from Grand Central Terminal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Excellent service and clean dining area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lasagna slices absolutely hit the spot on a cold winter day. The salad was more than enough for a party of two! Wine pours were generous. We will definitely be back here!

Excellent New York Pizza! Can purchase by the slice or order a whole pie. We tried the lasagna , pepperoni, pepperoni & mushroom, and pepperoni and sausage . All were delish. They also have other goodies such as canoli's and other desserts but we didn't get to try this time around. The service was your typical order and go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is quaint...a few tables to enjoy your pizza and run.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would definitely come back!

I know pizza, and I know NY Pizza and this is NY pizza! Real talk...it's not the best NY pizza I have had but it is very good and well worth the visit. Yea you should visit, go on an empty stomach because you're going to want more. Enough said!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Delicious pizza and the restaurant had a nice vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered a gluten free pizza with several toppings - it was fresh, hot, and prepared perfectly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was Saturday night and most tables were full, but they still has some open tables for us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very fun and satisfying evening at Uncle Paul's.

This is a classic, delicious slice of NYC pizza. Unhyped and prob not on a list but just really GOOD. I haven't been used to folding my pizza in awhile since I'm from Cali but gosh darn it they made me do it!

Great pizza! Crispy outer crust. Love the cheese and sauce. A good selection of slices.

Michael Scott would grab a Sbarro for a NY slice while in the city. We decided to go a little more authentic. This was just a very good small pizza joint. You walk in and all the pizzas are hot and ready, you just tell them what you're feeling. I got the pepperoni along with a NY cheesecake. It really hit the spot after all those blocks we walked. Service was fast, [[HIGHLIGHT]]ambiance was just what you want out of a small pizza joint.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Quick casual place to stop by for a slice of pizza near grand central station. Service was quick and there were many different topping options to choose from. Pizza was nice and thin with a nice crunch on the bottom.

Best gluten-free pizza I have ever had. [Full Stop]…read more I've had a lot of GF pizza. I've tried to come here in the past -- but it didn't work out. I ordered via Uber Eats this time, and MAN -- I was blown away. I honestly thought that they had screwed up and sent me a gluten version. I checked the order and receipt. It was so good -- the crust so chewy with bite -- but light and airy and tight -- the cheese and toppings all great and fresh and delicious. It tasted like an awesome piece of NYC pizza. I was so happy. I did some Claude sleuthing -- and think I'm onto their magic with the crust -- and am excitedly going to experiment in my home kitchen in the coming weeks (Neapolitan oven, be damned!).

As traditional Neapolitan-style pizza is known for its soft, thin dough, puffy, charred crust, the Don Antonio version is well executed. You must try the Pere & Noci salad along with your pizza, it peas, exquisite‼ Giorgia Caporuscio, an acclaimed and world champion pizzaiola who has earned international recognition for her authentic Neapolitan pizza, is behind the beloved Don Antonio restaurant. Located at 309 West 50th Street in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the casual eatery has an extensive list of pizzas. Don Antonio has over 30 types of Neapolitan pizzas, and the menu is a little bit daunting at first due to so many options, but even the pickiest eater will find something they'll want to eat. To top that off, Caporuscio recently debuted a brand new pizza tasting menu that features a curated lineup of never-before-seen pizza napoletana, and seven varieties of pizza fritta (fried pizza). Lastly, the entire pizza menu is now available gluten-free. With vast offerings, they are ambitious, and every dish is outstanding.

RIGHT BY THE DOOR. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
